Tonglu, Hangzhou is perfect for self-driving. Main attractions Daqishan, Yaolin Wonderland, Baiyunyuan, Chuoyun Tongtianhe. Daqishan and Baiyunyuan are landscapes, while Yaolin Wonderland and Chuoyun Tongtianhe are underground caves. Recommended combination: Baiyunyuan + Chuoyun Tongtianhe. Baiyunyuan The road in Baiyunyuan Scenic Area is relatively narrow, so be careful when driving. From the entrance of the scenic area, the scenery is beautiful, and the stream is crystal clear. There are many waterfalls along the way, especially the waterfall of Dalongmen, which flows down from the mountain in a winding way. Looking up to find its source, you can only see it hidden in the green trees, giving you unlimited imagination. The stone arch bridge under your feet feels like the Little Seven Arches of Libo. Chuoyun Tongtianhe Chuoyun Tongtianhe requires a boat ride to enter. The entrance to the cave is very wide, so be careful not to bump your head. There is also water dripping from the ceiling of the cave, so a hat would be helpful. After a short boat ride, there is a lift that will take you to the next level of the underground river. The cave looks like a forest or an underwater world. It is very spacious and has unique scenery. Then find a good resort hotel to relax! This is a replica of Huang Gongwang's painting "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" from the Yuan Dynasty. Spring is the most beautiful time to visit. With the Hangzhou Culture and Tourism Card, you can enter this scenic spot for unlimited times. There were no other tourists in the scenic spot today, just the six of us, so the scenic area was very quiet. From the entrance of the scenic area to the largest Longmen Waterfall inside, it is 6 kilometers. Most tourists take the scenic area bus in and out (CNY 20 per person). We like to hike, so we walk in and out. We play and enjoy various large and small waterfalls along the trail in the scenic area, rest and play by the pool, and it is really comfortable without being disturbed by others. If you want the hustle and bustle of the city, the Lumei Line from Baiyunyuan is your ideal choice. Although under the scorching sun, there are only rocky beaches left in many places, but don't worry, I have found some cool places with plenty of water suitable for playing in the water. 🌊 First of all, the Wild Camping Ground, the Trailer Campground and the Yunqi Valley Campground are close to the campsite, but whether you need to consume in the campsite to enjoy the coolness remains to be explored. Next, let me take you to two places I personally experienced: 📍 Baiyun Road This is a diving paradise on the Baiyunyuan Road section, but please note that the fork in the road is narrow and parking is difficult, especially on weekends when it is crowded. There are more young people and pets here, and the shallow area is limited, so it is not suitable for young children. The water depth can reach 3-4 meters and there are no amenities around. 📍 In front of Yuequanju B&B There are three wide waterholes here, perfect for families and children, with plenty of shade and space for camp chairs and a small table. There are convenient parking spots on the roadside and in front of the B&B, as well as public toilets and sinks. The property provides food and beverage services including drinks and popsicles. 📝 My suggestions: 1. Avoid the weekend peak hours and choose to travel on weekdays, as the flow of people will be significantly reduced. 2. The road is narrow, so please park carefully to avoid being towed. 3. There are few shops along the way, so it is recommended to bring your own food. 4. Yuequanju is recommended for family travel as it has excellent sunshade conditions. 5. If you want to experience the fun of diving, Baiyun intersection is the best choice. 6. The water is clear, although not as good as the Lishui mountain stream, but far better than Longlin Dam and Feiting Dam. It is at the end of Qinglongwu Village. The village next to it is quaint and you can visit it. It's Tonglu, Hangzhou! It's Baiyun Source❗️ The beautiful scenery reflected in the water, where the mountains and waters blend into one. I thought that there were already few visitors to Daqi Mountain, but it turns out that the flow of visitors to Baiyun Source is even less. Compared to Fuchun River, Baiyun Source is indeed less sought after! There is almost no commercialization here, no overdevelopment, very pristine. It retains the serene scenery undisturbed by crowds, somewhat like the Jiuxi area of West Lake, but even more unspoiled. Just the mountain road leading to the scenic area, with its surrounding scenery, is enough to refresh the spirit. And when you step into Baiyun Source, what comes at you is the saturated green of the mountains and trees reflected in the pond water, as if you have entered the Emerald City of Oz, momentarily unable to distinguish between reality and a painting.

Avoid the holidays and come to Tonglu, the final stop is Baiyunyuan. At noon, we had lunch at the Nature Restaurant halfway up the mountain, and received a discount notice for the scenic area from the boss. We walked and played along the way until we reached the entrance of the scenic area. The ticket includes a sightseeing car, which stops at two waterfalls in total, one small Longmen and one big Longmen. The hiking time for the small Longmen is relatively long, and the valley for two people is too quiet, can't stand it... After dropping off passengers, the driver will wait at the hiking endpoint of Xiaolongmen to pick up people before heading to the next stop, Dalongmen. The Great Dragon Gate is quite shocking, and after seeing it, I didn't climb any further. Baiyunyuan is fun and not crowded, suitable for relaxing.
