Check-in at the domestic version of 'Rio de Janeiro' at Qiguanding
A one-day and one-night tour in Lianjiang, Fuzhou, with a special forces guide!
I've been seeing a lot about the domestic version of 'Rio de Janeiro' recently. It's located at 📍Qida Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, named Qiguanding because it resembles 'Rio de Janeiro'. From the top, you can 🉑 overlook the entire fishing village👀
After descending, I quickly prepared a nanny-level hiking guide for you. Babies who need it, give a like➕ and save it 🥰
Note: Be sure to choose good weather, otherwise you'll only see a big fog🤫
Qiguanding🔝
There are two routes🛣️
① Start climbing from the bottom of the mountain⛰️
Drive/book a car to 📍Qida Village Qiguanding, park 🅿️ and start climbing, take the famous 1800 steps, the whole journey is about 30-40 minutes give or take👌🏻
② Start climbing from halfway up the mountain⛰️
Drive/carpool to 📍Baiyun Temple, after arriving, don't stop, continue driving forward until you see 🈶 railings surrounding a wall, that's the halfway point 🏁, the journey is about 20-25 minutes give or take, the mountain road is rugged, this route is more challenging for drivers💪🏻
Note: For those who book/carpool, the prices for the journey from the bottom and halfway up the mountain are different, discuss with the driver beforehand to avoid unnecessary trouble🤫
Dinghai Bay🌊
Ticket🎫: Free
The sand here is very soft, stepping on it feels very comfortable, after climbing the mountain you can also enjoy the sea breeze to relax, and there are many amusement facilities🏄🏻♂️
Accommodation🏡
I stayed at 📍Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel, staying here is more convenient than in Qida Village, with more food options😋, 👆🏻 sea view rooms, just downstairs is the sea, and the rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, you don't even need to go out to see the sunset over the sea🌇
I've removed my crown to talk about my lightning protection strategy and true feelings
This time, going to Fuzhou's "Rio de Janeiro" was also a result of following the trend with 🍠!
If you also want to 🧗 climb mountains and see the 🌊,
Then you must seriously look at the strategy ✅

Fujian's least known seaside town, a holiday rush
Lianjiang is a lesser-known coastal city in Fujian, where you can enjoy the sea view along the coastline🌊, with large lawns for camping, wooden walkways leading to the sea🚶♀️, and Qida Village that resembles Rio de Janeiro🏖️, as well as clean beaches for sea foraging🌊, offering scenery that is no less beautiful than other seaside cities.
✈️It's convenient to get there via Fuzhou Changle Airport or by🚅 high-speed train to Lianjiang Station. The attractions are also only a twenty-minute drive apart, making it suitable for self-driving or renting a car to visit the sites.
🚗Recommended route: Fisherman's Island→Beijiao Village→Pingliuwei Geological Park→Gushi Village→Qida Village→Qiguan Top→Huangqi Beach🏖️.
🌟Attraction travel tips:
Fisherman's Island: Features a rainbow dam, hand-painted walls, and various photo spots, suitable for a short visit.📸😍
Beijiao Village: The entire fishing village is surrounded by the sea on three sides, where you can watch the sunrise, and there is a wooden walkway leading to the sea.🌅🌿
Pingliuwei Geological Park: Unique marine erosion landscape, admission is thirty💰, with seaside walkways🚶♀️ and several viewing platforms.👀
Gushi Village: A small fishing village nestled between mountains and sea, with a large lawn for camping and picnicking, now villagers charge twenty for sanitation fees.🍱🌿
Qida Village: A simple fishing village with colorful houses🏠, at a glance you can see the spectacular fish rafts and moored fishing boats🚢.
Qiguan Top: Climb up one thousand eight hundred steps to the top, from where you can view Qida Village and feel like you're in Rio de Janeiro.🏔️🌇
Huangqi Beach: Drive straight to the beach, the beach area is vast during low tide, and the sand is clean for foraging and digging.🌊🤩
The holiday is coming, and for those who are still hesitating about where to go, consider this place~😘😘

🏠Accommodation recommendation
Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel, only 20 min~30min drive from Qida Village, Fisherman's Island, Beijiao Nose, Pingliuwei Geological Park, Gushi Village, Qiguan Top, Huangqi Beach. The hotel has large floor-to-ceiling beds, wake up to a view of the sea, the restaurant inside the hotel tastes quite good, the beach is just downstairs, there are amusement facilities to play with, the hotel also has tea sets, sipping tea while looking at the sea, it's so comfortable❗️❗️
Pingtan's Blue Tears🪼 are about to experience a major outbreak! Make your travel plans and rush over!
👉Science Time👈
❌Blue Tears are not real tears, they are the light emitted by fluorescent algae in the sea
❌"Blue Tears" usually appear from April to August each year
❌Pingtan's Blue Tears have a major outbreak every year from April to May, with the best viewing time at night
👉Below are a few places where they commonly appear: 🔥Liuxiu Village: A place where Blue Tears appear frequently
🔥Changjiang'ao: Also has a high probability
🔥Mojing Village and Dongmei Village: Less popular but also beautiful beaches
🔥Houyan Island: A less-known island with clear waters, and if you're lucky, you might see a pink beach.
🔥Tianmei'ao and Longfengtou: Suitable for watching the sunset🌅
🌟Tips: You can rent a car, and it's easier to park if you're traveling in even numbers🛵
🌈Photography tips:
📸Prepare a tripod and a shutter release, adjust the appropriate exposure time and 📸please open the aperture to the maximum to capture the stars
📸Use a wide-angle lens to fill the frame with "Blue Tears"
📸It's best to turn off the flash when shooting
📸You can include subjects like people or footprints as elements to add liveliness to the picture
🚲If you don't see the Blue Tears, it's okay, Pingtan has many other hidden gems to check out
🚲Bike around the island! Enjoy a pleasant island bike ride in the fresh sea breeze
🚲Changjiang'ao Wind Power Station! 📷A popular windmill photo spot with a great atmosphere For girls, taking beautiful photos is the most important😛 So I've prepared some photo-taking tips for girls:
🌊Wear light-colored clothes for a better look! The color of Blue Tears is quite pale, so wearing light-colored clothes can blend in with the glow.
🌊Bring some small props! Such as balloons, bouquets, hats, sunglasses, etc.
❗❗Attention❗❗ Always be cautious when going to the beach😊 Do not go to unfamiliar beaches alone. Also, please take your trash with you to protect the beach environment.
🚗Pingtan-Lianjiang
The next day we also went to Qidacun in Lianjiang, about an hour's drive from Pingtan. Although it involves climbing a mountain, the process is not boring at all, because the scenery along the way is just too beautiful
This is the most beautiful place I've ever climbed, second to none👌Reaching the top of the mountain is an overwhelming experience that can't be put into words, 🉑Charge (Lianjiang has other fun attractions besides Qiguanding)
🏠Accommodation
The first thing upon arriving in Lianjiang is to book a hotel. I stayed at the Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel, which I can only say is value for money. Their service, the oceanfront view, these are indeed beyond words, and their hotel also includes a restaurant with good taste and a large scale, and the beach is just downstairs🏖️
Not abroad! It's Fuzhou! It felt like I went to Rio de Janeiro!
I've been longing to visit Qida Village, and finally, I'm here to check in. When I walked over 1800 steps and saw the azure sea and the fishing village all at a glance, it really felt a bit like Rio de Janeiro. This hike was truly worthwhile.
☑️Address
Qiguan Top, Qida Village, Fuzhou City
☑️Transport
Take the high-speed train to 'Lianjiang Station', you can choose to hire a private car to get there; we shared a ride with others, 30 yuan per person one way. You can also take the bus to Qida from Lianjiang Bus East Station, the journey takes about 1h to arrive.
☑️【Accommodation】
Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel
The only high-end hotel around Qida Village (I didn't expect it to be so affordable ). The room is very spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows + an unbeatable sea view. You can see the sunrise just by lifting the curtains in the morning. The room comes with complimentary drinks and tea sets.
You can enjoy tea while admiring the beautiful view outside the window.
Just a few dozen meters downstairs is the quiet Dinghai Bay beach, very peaceful and pleasant. Inside the scenic area, there is a hotel's own seafood restaurant, the prices are very reasonable, you can eat there with confidence.
☑️Touring tips
1⃣️For those who don't want to climb 1800 steps, you can also take a taxi directly to Baiyun Temple, which is about a 20-minute walk to the top of the mountain.
2⃣️No admission fee is required for the tour, and there are self-service water sales along the way.
3⃣️The fence with the wishing plaques is the best spot for photos, be sure to pay attention to safety!
4⃣️Be sure to go on a sunny day, got a bit sunburned, but it's really too beautiful! The wind is also very strong, remember to apply sunscreen.
You don't have to go to Weihai; you can also take photos of the Bluewise in Fuzhou
I captured the wreck of the Bluewise in Fuzhou, and the sense of fate is overwhelming❗️❗️
The lonely shipwreck stands silently on the beach after the tide recedes,
The weather by the sea is unpredictable, with clouds rolling and changing.
Compared to the clear skies of a holiday, the overcast twilight
Even more cinematic, with the protagonist's sense of fate skyrocketing.
📍Navigate to "Ha Sha Village" and you'll see these two stranded shipwrecks.
Be aware! Check the local tide chart; when the tide is low, the reefs will be exposed.
It's recommended to wear a dark or black trench coat, holding a bright red rose.
Matching with a red or white scarf also works, and any photo looks good.
Triple zoom on the phone can capture both the person and the shipwreck in the same frame, and live photos look great too.
The location of the shipwreck is in Lianjiang County, which is quite far from Fuzhou city center.
It's suggested to combine the trip with "Qi Da Village - Qi Guan Ding - Bei Jiao Bi Geological Park - Fisherman's Village - Gu Shi Village - Ping Liu Wei Geological Park - Huang Qi Beach", there's plenty of time.
📍Address: Ha Sha Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City
💰Ticket: 0 yuan, free
🚗Transport: Self-driving (free parking), 1.5h drive from Fuzhou, or take a high-speed train from Fuzhou to Lianjiang Station and then carpool
🍳Food recommendations:
1⃣️Fish noodles, fish balls, oyster omelette
2⃣️Various seafood! Abalone, mantis shrimp, oysters, razor clams
🏠Accommodation
I chose the Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel because it's not far from the main attractions, only 20min away from Qi Da Village, and the hotel has huge floor-to-ceiling windows! The sea view outside the window is stunning👁️! There's a beach🏖️ downstairs and amusement facilities to enjoy! Very comfortable☀️
In Fujian, Fuzhou | I learned a new photography style!
👀 Family, the incredibly stunning and lesser-known Qida Village in Lianjiang, Fujian must be recommended! Whenever the weather gets hot, I just want to see the sea🌊. This weekend, I took my bestie👭 for a drive there; it's only 1h away from the downtown area of Fuzhou, which is so convenient👍
🏠 After checking into the Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay, we decided to head to Qida Village and discovered it's a perfect place for photography📸! Every shot is like a blockbuster, absolutely amazing~✨🌈
🏛️ Qida Village is a small fishing village, not very commercialized, and 'Ruolin Hotel' is the most famous star-rated hotel here. 🎁 Staying here also includes a hot pot package🍲, which tastes great👍🥟. Later, we strolled on the beach of Dinghai Bay, which was really fun with all the amusement facilities. 😂
🌅 The sunrise🌇 at the hotel is super beautiful! 📸 A casual snap is full of the atmospheric Korean style.
⛰ It's worth mentioning Qiguan Top, which has three routes,
👉① Drive to the middle of the mountain and then walk up,
② Drive to the foot of the mountain and climb more than 1800 steps,
③ There's also a dirt road that leads to the top of the mountain.
We drove to the foot of the mountain and climbed🧗 up, which took us about 30 minutes🅿️. It was over 1800 steps to reach the top😭. I was exhausted, but the vast and magnificent sea in front of me swept away all the fatigue!🌊 I also saw a windmill that's super suitable for taking photos and checking in, it's really photogenic~📷

The blue tears of Pingtan are about to experience a massive outbreak!! Hurry up and rush over!!!
The best chance to witness the blue tears is here, don't miss out on rushing over!!! 😍😍😍
👋 I've stayed up several nights to organize this most comprehensive guide to the Pingtan blue tears, almost blinding myself, but fortunately, hard work pays off, and I've finally put it together!!! 😭
✋ I won't allow anyone to remain unaware of the stunning blue tears hotspot on Pingtan Island. You don't have to go to the Maldives to see them, we have them in our own country!!
👉 The blue tears of Pingtan are seasonally limited, generally appearing from March to May. This is when the probability of successfully witnessing them is the highest. I've stayed up several nights to compile these tips, nearly blinding myself. 👀👀👀
😘 If you want to see the blue tears, it's best to choose a day with a light breeze or a southerly wind, but it doesn't have to be a southerly wind; sometimes a gentle breeze from any direction will do. If the wind and waves are too strong on the day, the blue tears will be scattered.
⚠️ A little tip: Red tide is also a precursor to the appearance of blue tears 👌. If you notice a slight reddish tint in the sea during the day while playing at the beach, then there's a very high chance of seeing blue tears tonight. Remember these two precursors, they're very helpful for chasing the tears. 😍
💧 Likely locations for the appearance of blue tears include: the northern line's Changjiang'ao, Mojing Village, Dongmei Village, Nanaozi, and Cat Head Dry; the southern line's Tannan Bay, Dafu Bay; and around the county town, Longfengtou, and Guanjiang Village.
📷 I've also organized tips for photographing the blue tears.
1️⃣ If you're using an iPhone, just use the Night mode for shooting, the new models capture it easily, older models may need to use screen recording;
2️⃣ If you're using an Android, use the Pro mode, set the ISO to 6400, and the shutter speed to 2 seconds;
3️⃣ If you're using a camera, use the M mode, set the sensitivity to the highest, shutter time to over 15 seconds, and it's best to use a tripod to stabilize the camera. 😘
⚠️ Be sure to check the weather before you go
📍 There's also a super photogenic, lesser-known secret spot, which is Qiguan Top in Qida Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It's just a 1-hour drive from Pingtan Island. This place, far from the hustle and bustle of the world, is a primitive and simple fishing village, known as 'Fuzhou's Rio de Janeiro', and is a must-visit! 🌴
📸 On the way to Qiguan Top, as you ascend along the mountain, the view becomes increasingly vast, and the distant sea horizon becomes clearer, with every casual shot turning out to be a masterpiece, boasting a very high success rate for great photos. Once you arrive, you'll feel as if you've instantly traveled to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. 😍
🏨 I highly recommend staying at the Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel. From the rooms here, you can see the vast sea and the azure sky, and the beach is just downstairs, making it very suitable for couples, families, and friends to vacation together. The Ruolin Restaurant tastes good 👍🏻 both in flavor and service.
The Pingtan Island is known as the ceiling of blue tears in China
I finally saw the blue tears! The blue tears were finally caught on Pingtan Island in Fujian!
📍Location
Pingtan Island is located in Fujian
✅Conditions
Southerly wind
Temperature around 21-25 degrees
High air humidity, during high tide
✅Tips
The best time to chase the tears is often in the early morning~ On the night of March 16th, there was about a level 2 blue tears sighting
✅Sightseeing Spots
Tan Nan Bay
Dong Mei Village
Chang Jiang Ao
Long Wang Tou
Jing Sha
✅Attractions
Ha Sha Village: The stranded boats are known as the 'Rio de Janeiro of Lianjiang', and the atmosphere is full when the tide is out
✅Cuisine: When in Fuzhou, you must have a seafood meal, and the clay pot porridge is quite good! Fish noodles, fish balls, and meat swallows are local specialties
✅Accommodation
1️⃣Pingtan Accommodation: Stay in the county town, if you want to see the sunrise, you can find a homestay near Long Wang Tou
2️⃣Lianjiang Accommodation: I chose the Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay, not far from the main attractions, with a clean and hygienic environment, a restaurant with a rich menu, shrimp heart youtiao and bonito soup are the signature dishes, and the seafood inside is fresh~
Few people post about the sunrise at Qiguanding, so let me do it!
I drove from Wenzhou to Qiguanding at midnight 🚗
There was no need to climb the 1800 steps, I took a shortcut by car
It took about 20 minutes to hike up the mountain ⛰️ at 5:30 am and easily reached the summit
I saw the sunrise I wanted to see, the only downside was that the wind was really too strong
It was not friendly to my hair
This hidden gem in a small fishing village in Fujian 🌊 The Chinese version of Rio de Janeiro - Qida Village
The moment you climb Qiguanding is a blend of mountains and sea, a breathtaking view 💕💕
.
📍Qida Village, Lianjiang County - known as the Chinese version of Rio de Janeiro
⛰The best viewing angle of Qida Village is right next to Baiyun Mountain's Qiguanding
There are two options for going up the mountain, you can walk more than 1000 steps, or you can drive to the parking lot near Baiyun Temple and walk up from there~ We chose the latter, which is also the less strenuous route~
🎫Ticket: Free🆓
.
🚗Navigate to Baiyun Temple, the road is a winding mountain road, don't doubt and keep driving past the yellow archway with the Baiyun Temple sign, continue driving inside is a gravel road (the other side of the fork in the road is Baiyun Temple which is still under construction), keep driving along the gravel road! Until you reach a platform where you can see windmills and park, you can choose to stop here, and if there are not many cars, you can drive a little further up.
We drove to the end of the gravel road when we went, and there was a gate that only allowed walking, maybe it will be open in the future~ After getting out of the car, it takes about half an hour to walk to Qiguanding, but this gravel road is relatively flat without steps, it's very easy to stroll to the top!
.
🚩Photo spots at Qiguanding 📷
1️⃣The highest Qiguanding has a red flag, not far from the pavilion, you can take photos of the bay and windmills at the top, the sunrise here did not disappoint me!
2️⃣The most beautiful spot is down the steps from Qiguanding to the end of the mountain where there are many large rocks, in an instant the beauty is breathtaking~~🎈You can overlook the entire panorama of Qida Village, and you get the feeling of Rio de Janeiro🌊
3️⃣Standing at the end of more than 1000 steps, you can take an overhead shot of people and the full view of the fishing village, which is a more everyday spot suitable for sisters who are afraid of heights~
4️⃣Walking forward from the Qiguanding kiosk, there is a stone that says 'Peace is a blessing', going down you can take photos of Qida Village sandwiched between two mountains, the angle is also very unique~
5️⃣There are many scenic spots on the way, the platform near the end of the gravel road can take photos of the windmills and sea view behind, it's like being transported into a Miyazaki anime in a second~
⚠️Safety first when taking photos, some places have quite slippery stones.
. 🍳Food recommendations:
1⃣️Fish noodles, fish balls, oyster pancakes
2⃣️Various seafood! Abalone, mantis shrimp, oysters, razor clams
Accommodation in Qida Village
Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel
There are few hotels near Qida Village, we chose a nearby star-rated sea view hotel (it has floor-to-ceiling windows + sea view room, wake up in the morning and open the curtains to see the sunrise.
Just a few dozen meters downstairs is the beach, very quiet and comfortable. The hotel has a seafood restaurant, the prices are very reasonable, you can go with confidence!
Stop asking, Fuzhou is really not abroad
Fuzhou Pingtan Island is the coastal city with the highest frequency of blue tears in China, and it is also the place where blue tears occur the most.
✅What are blue tears?
They are formed by microorganisms living at the bottom of the sea. Under the influence of the tides, these bioluminescent algae quietly gather near the shore.
✅How to go to Pingtan to see blue tears?
🚄High-speed train: Pingtan Station
✈️Airplane: Transfer from Fuzhou Airport to Pingtan Station by express train
👀Tear-chasing season
April to August
Viewing time
Usually after 7 p.m., most occurrences are in the early morning
❤️Locations
Changjiang'ao, Jingsha, Longwangtou, Dongmei Village, Tannan Bay, Longfengtou Beach (Locations are not certain! Follow relevant public accounts for predictions)
❤️Other popular spots in Pingtan
Xianren Well, Ring Island Road, Northern Bay
After visiting Pingtan, you can go to the surrounding areas for fun
✅✅Pingtan-Lianjiang (One hour drive by car)
Lianjiang attractions
✅Pingliuwei Geological Park: The seaside plank road is very suitable for photography, with various forms of marine erosion landforms, and a natural atmosphere
✅Qiguanding: The Fujian version of 'Rio de Janeiro', where you can overlook the entire small fishing village from the top of the mountain, and if you want to watch the sunset, arrive before 3 p.m.! There are 1800 steps to climb, taking about 40 minutes
Hasha Village: The Lianjiang version of 'The Bruise', which feels full of atmosphere when the tide is out!
🏨Accommodation
For accommodation in Pingtan, you can choose from many options in the county town. If you want to watch the sunrise, choose a homestay near Longwangtou.
🏨For accommodation in Lianjiang, I chose the Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay, not far from the main attractions, only 20 minutes to Qidacun
Traveling by Didi is very convenient, the room is consistent with the pictures, I love the decoration style, and the hygiene is very clean, you can stay with confidence.
Finally, I have climbed to the top of Dongfang Rio de Janeiro and encountered the stunning mountains and seas
If you can't go to Rio de Janeiro, then come to Fuzhou's Dongfang Rio instead~
The scenery is absolutely no less than abroad 😭
It can be said that it must have a place among the niche tourist attractions in China
There are hardly any people now, and the number of tourists is super low
The key point is that this is not a photo deception‼️
The reality feels even more beautiful than the pictures
.
📍Address: Qiguanding, Lianjiang County, Fujian
🎫Ticket: Free
🚗Transportation: It is recommended to drive by yourself, about 1h drive from the high-speed rail station
.
The sea here is really super blue, the photos look great without any editing, and there are so many angles to take pictures from. Overlooking the entire Qida Village from the top of the mountain is very spectacular~
.
🧗🏻♂️How to reach the summit
There are many ways mentioned online, but it all comes down to two methods
1️⃣Navigate directly to 'Qiguanding', there is a large stone monument at the foot of the mountain, next to which is the path to climb the mountain, it takes about 40 minutes to reach the top, simple and effective
2️⃣After navigating to Qiguanding, continue driving upwards, there are mountain roads and dirt roads, keep driving to the city wall arch. Then start walking for 20 minutes. (It is recommended to climb the mountain directly using the first method)
3️⃣The stranded boat in Ha Sha Village
The recently popular shipwreck spot
Lianjiang's version of 'Bruwes'
The atmosphere is full when the tide is out!
.
🍳Food:
1⃣️Fish noodles, fish balls, oyster pancakes
2⃣️Various seafood! Abalone, mantis shrimp, oysters, razor clams
Accommodation in Qida Village
Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel
There are very few hotels near Qida Village, I personally pay more attention to hygiene and comfort, so I chose a nearby star-rated sea view hotel (it is a floor-to-ceiling window sea view room, you can see the sunrise when you wake up in the morning and open the curtains.
Just walk a few dozen meters downstairs to reach the beach, it's very quiet and comfortable. There is a seafood restaurant in the scenic area that is affiliated with the hotel, the prices are very reasonable, you can go there with confidence!

🌟Travel Tips
1️⃣For photography, you must choose a good weather, so you can see the blue sea. If it's cloudy and foggy, you won't be able to capture anything
2️⃣It is definitely recommended to drive by yourself, as transportation is really inconvenient, and it's hard to get a taxi in remote areas
3️⃣The top of the mountain is quite steep, so be sure to pay attention to safety when taking photos, as many places do not have railings, so be careful
Fuzhou | Qida Village, the Fujian version of Rio de Janeiro is truly beautiful
| Qida Village, the Fujian version of Rio de Janeiro is truly beautiful.📍Located at Qiguan Top, Qida Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City
📍Free
❇️Ways to go up the mountain
1⃣️At the foot of the mountain, park for free at the Qiguan Top stone stele, then climb 1800 steps up the mountain
✅Suitable for young people with good physical strength, take photos while climbing, and you can encounter more surprises
2️⃣Carpool or take a motorcycle taxi near the mountain entrance, the price is about 20-50, especially taking a motorcycle taxi, which can save time queuing up the mountain during peak hours
✅Motorcycle taxis are more suitable for 1-2 people going up the mountain together, not cost-effective for more people, and it doesn't look very safe
3️⃣Drive to the bottom of the Qiguan Top wall
✅After taking a motorcycle taxi or driving to the wall, you need to walk along a low wall similar to the Great Wall for more than 1 kilometer to reach the Jiuxian Jun Temple, climb up the small dirt slope on the right side of the temple, walk a short distance forward and you will encounter steps, walk down the steps, the pavilion and red wishing plaques are the popular photo spots, walking up leads to a broader view
✅Driving up the mountain, the mountain road has eighteen bends, not easy to navigate, the last 1 kilometer to the wall is a dirt road with stones, bumpy, and difficult for cars with low chassis
✅Self-driving during peak times will encounter 4 or 5 vehicle control points, vehicles have to queue up to go up the mountain, and only when cars come down can an equivalent number of cars go up, the waiting time is very long (but once you get up there, you'll find that there aren't so many cars that a few more couldn't be accommodated)
‼️Tips‼️
▶️Be sure to go on a sunny day❗The mountain roads are difficult in rainy weather and the photo effects are much worse❗
▶️The popular photo spot is located on the edge of a cliff, be cautious⚠️ and ensure safety, those who are afraid of heights (like myself) are advised not to get too close, it's not necessary to take the risk, but personal safety is a must
▶️Whether at the foot of the mountain, halfway up, or at the top, parking is free🅿️, during holidays and peak times, besides taking a motorcycle taxi, the time spent driving around the mountain (including traffic control queuing) and walking up the stairs feels about the same
▶️When you reach the control point in front of the Guanyin Temple, do not listen to the security guard and park on the spot, the 1 kilometer-plus mountain road is not long, but the dust is particularly heavy,
when other vehicles pass by, pedestrians can get a mouthful of dust, be sure to drive to the bottom of the wall (the arch in the upper right corner of picture 5)
▶️Naturally, the prices on the mountain are higher than at the foot of the mountain (e.g., tea eggs 4 yuan each, grilled sausages 10 yuan each), you can bring a small amount of water and snacks (there's not much to do at the top of the mountain, 1-2 hours for taking photos and resting is enough)
▶️The wind is strong on the mountain and it's sunny, be prepared for wind, sun protection, and insect prevention
🍳Food recommendations:
1⃣️Fish noodles, fish balls, oyster pancakes, the seafood beef hotpot in the hotel is also great.
Accommodation in Qida Village
Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel
There are few hotels near Qida Village, for a family trip, this time we chose a nearby high-end sea view hotel (it has floor-to-ceiling windows + sea view rooms, wake up in the morning and open the curtains to see the sunrise).
Chida Village, Fuzhou - The City of Sky in the Human World
🏖️ Known as the 'Little Rio de Janeiro'. 🗽
According to an old man in the fishing village 👴, four years ago, it was a little-known dilapidated fishing village 🎎. Now, four years later, it has become explosively popular 🔥 for its view from the top of Qiguandian, which resembles Rio de Janeiro, and has become one of the hot tourist spots in Fuzhou! 🔥🗽
📍Address: Chida Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province 🎫Ticket: Free🆓
🚇Transportation:
Take the high-speed train 🚝 from Fuzhou Station to Lianjiang Station, the ticket costs 12 yuan
From Lianjiang Station 🚝, you can take a taxi to Minyun Lianjiang Passenger Transport East Station for about 10 yuan, and then purchase a bus ticket to Chida Village 🚌
Bus ride: about 1h
Bus fare: 15 yuan (pay on boarding)
Departure times: 7:30, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 (after 12:00, buses depart every 1h, ⚠️the last bus is at 4:00 PM)
🚕By taxi, after exiting Minyun Lianjiang Passenger Transport East Station, there are many taxis at the entrance offering rides to Chida Village. If you share a taxi, it costs about 30 yuan per person, and you can bargain if there are more people 💰
🚶To climb to the top of Qiguandian, there are 1800 steps in total. Starting from a large stele at the foot of the mountain, it takes about 1h to reach the top. It's advisable to bring a bottle of water and some bread for sustenance. Water is also sold halfway up the mountain, and there is a public toilet.
🚗For the first half of the ascent to Qiguandian, there is a winding road up the side of the mountain. If you're driving, you can navigate directly to Baiyun Temple. After a ten-minute drive, you'll reach a parking lot halfway up the mountain. Get out of the car, pass through the stone archway, and there's a path like the Great Wall. A 25-minute walk will get you there 😍😍😍
If you're not driving but still want to take a vehicle up the mountain, there are many taxis at the foot of the mountain. Just ask for the price, and generally, sharing a taxi to the halfway point costs about 20 yuan per person.
⚠️Please be careful when taking photos 😶
🏠Accommodation & 🍜Cuisine: You can stay at Dinghai Bay, where the Ruolin Hotel is fully equipped. Dinghai Bay has well-maintained beach facilities, and other scenic spots are a 15-30 minute drive away. The hotel also has a restaurant with decent Min and Cantonese cuisine, quite distinctive 👍
☀️Weather: Sunny or cloudy weather is better for photography, so remember to check the weather forecast in advance if you're planning to visit 😘😘😘
Haizi said, 'When you come to this world, you should see the sun.' Unknowingly, it's already April, and the weather is gradually warming up. Everyone can go out and have fun during the break, and those who are busy can follow me, and I'll show you the scenery 🌈🌈🌈
Self-driving to the Sky City | Sisters, I advise you not to come
Because once you come, you won't want to leave😆
🚗Originally planned to go to Quanzhou, but on a whim at Dongshan Island, after driving for more than five hours, we finally arrived at Qida Village!😅
🧚♀️Self-driving buddies can directly navigate to 'Qiguan Top', this location is the closest you can get to the mountain top by car, there's a small parking lot, but there aren't many spots available🧐
⚠️Special Reminder⚠️ 🅿️The road up the mountain is not very easy to drive, drivers need to have good driving skills~😲
You can also park at the foot of the mountain and walk up the stairs, which takes about half an hour😆
🌊After climbing to the top, everything is worth it! The sunlight at four in the afternoon just right hits the town, making it feel like the town is sparkling! I've been to quite a few places, and this one really ranks in the top three❗️❗️❗️
🌕All I can think of are these phrases: Traversing mountains and seas, chasing the wind and waves, through the seasons, born free!😎
🏠Accommodation recommendation: Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel, which is about a 20 min drive from Qida Village. The hotel has large floor-to-ceiling windows, and you can see the sea when you wake up. The restaurant in the hotel is quite good, and there's a beach and amusement facilities to play with downstairs. The hotel also has tea sets, sipping tea while looking at the sea is so comfortable❗️❗️❗️
Experience the aurora in Qidavillage, China, like nowhere else
No need to go to Iceland❗️ I actually saw the aurora in Lianjiang❗️❗️ Come and check in at the Lianjiang version of the aurora.

My travel route—Watch the sunset at Qiguan Top—Set off fireworks at Dinghai Bay👀
I accidentally discovered the aurora while setting off fireworks on the beach of Dinghai Bay at night. It was truly stunning. It turns out that the warning lights of the fishing boats nearby🚨 would light up in green.
💕Qiguan Top (🎫0)
The Fujian version of 'Rio de Janeiro'
1800 steps
Climb to the top of the mountain to overlook the small fishing village
💕Dinghai Bay
The Fujian version of 'Maldives'
The sand is fine and doesn't hurt your feet
There are many entertainment projects
You can also set off fireworks at night
🍳Food recommendations:
1⃣️Fish noodles, fish balls, oyster pancakes
2⃣️Various seafood! Abalone, mantis shrimp, oysters, razor clams
🏠Accommodation
I chose the Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay because it's only 20 minutes from Qidavillage, and the hotel has huge floor-to-ceiling windows! The sea view outside the window is completely unobstructed👁️ It was amazing! The hotel's restaurant offers a rich variety of dishes, with all kinds of cuisines available~ The beach is just downstairs🏖️ There are also amusement facilities to play with! Very comfortable☀️
Qida Village, it fulfills all my fantasies about travel!
💡Crossing mountains and ridges just for this sight👀!
🚦Taking advantage of the Spring Festival holiday not yet over, the highway is free, without any hesitation, let's go, my 2024🚗🚗
☀️Heaven's favor, the weather these two days is really too good😄
🌟Fuzhou Qida Village|A severely underestimated treasure fishing village 'Domestic version of Rio de Janeiro' How can you not come!? And now there's no admission fee!! It's worth a trip to Lianjiang just to overlook this colorful fishing village🌊
🏘In the village, you can see many houses built on the edge of the cliff🏠, even the scenery here is the color of the waves🌊
🌄To reach the top of the mountain, you need to climb up 1800 steps, about 1 hour to reach the top. When you finish climbing this road, you can see this village nestled against the mountain and surrounded by the sea on three sides.🏘It's like a city in the sky above the sea, and like a mysterious hidden island🧤It seems that as long as you open your arms, you can embrace the whole world🌏
💋There are many guides online, I won't babble. Sharing that I stayed at the Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel this time, it was really another surprise on the journey🏤Only 20 minutes from Qida Village, the sea view room has a large floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea, this is what a vacation should look like!!
🎆In the new year, I hope everything can be as perfect as this trip🎆
You don't need to go abroad, here are 10 stunning places in Fuzhou

Warm reminder:
Come to the seaside in winter
1️⃣ Check the weather, it is best for several consecutive days, 2 days and above are cloudy or sunny before coming
2️⃣ Clothing recommendation: down jacket, cotton-padded jacket, storm jacket, the wind is so big that you doubt life, especially for the first time to the seaside, windy day, the experience is very poor
3️⃣ Accommodation choice: Stay at Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay in the off-season (it is close to various scenic spots) Other scenic spots have many seaside restaurants that do not operate in the off-season, there is no place to eat!
The next Fuzhou is a super beautiful niche travel destination in China
I went to Lianjiang County, Fuzhou, which I have been longing for a long time.
It is indeed a romantic travel destination recognized by everyone.
There is Qida Village like Rio de Janeiro, there is Jiaonan Pingliuwei surrounded by the sea on three sides, it is the interlacing of light and shadow, it is the dialogue between mountains and the sea✨There is also a plank road leading to the sea🏜️and a lawn for camping on the sea cliff🌿Lonely trees and chairs🪑Everything in sight is very healing❤️🩹

🌟Scenic spot tour guide
✅Flag Crown: There is a kind of visual sense of Rio de Janeiro, it is recommended to set off at noon to take a good photo in the light, you can drive to the mountain and then hike for 20 minutes, but the road conditions are not very good, pay attention to safety⚠️
✅Qida Village: The colorful houses are scattered and orderly, and the spectacular fish rafts and parked fishing boats are in sight. This is also a sea area for breeding abalone. You can overlook the entire fishing village from the flag crown on the back mountain.
✅Beijiao Village: There is a wooden plank road leading to the sea to watch the sunrise. The partners who go there guide the "China Cape of Good Hope" pier has a parking lot, the road is on the good corner stairs to walk a few minutes to get there, watch the sunset is on the pier
✅Pingliuwei Geological Park: Tickets need 30 to enter the scenic area with a guard post for inspection. Walking into the scenic area is a plank road and viewing platform facing the sea. The cliff is steep and the coastal erosion geological landscape is rich and colorful. When the weather is good, you can see the coastal scenery at a glance

This is not Rio de Janeiro, this is the city of God belonging to Fujian
This small fishing village in Fujian has become so beautiful that it's like 'Rio de Janeiro'! 😍😍
—Chida Village Flag Top✨✨✨
Climbing up the flag top, you can see the sea fishing grounds everywhere in the near sea bay, and the islands are scattered. Looking down from the top of the mountain, the whole fishing village is like a 'Venice' on the sea, with islands in the sea, sea in the mountains, mountains in the clouds, and clouds under your feet! 👀👀👀
❗❗❗Travel tips, please keep them well! ✈✈✈
✅Be sure to go on a sunny day, the scenery is good when the weather is good, it's the kind of beauty that doesn't need a filter, and you want to go a second time!
✅If you want the scenery to be more beautiful, start climbing in the afternoon. If you're lucky, you can see the sunset, the sea and the sky are the same color, and the beauty is colorful!
✅Don't underestimate the flag top, the scenery is really beautiful, but it's also very difficult to climb, there are 1800 steps from the foot of the mountain, and they are all steep! There are hardly any railings on the way up the mountain, so be careful!
✅You don't need to bring a lot of water, there are many tents on the way up the mountain where you can rest, and there are various drinks there, you can buy them on your own.
✅We went three days ago, it's still quite cold on the top of the mountain in December after the sun goes down, keep warm, the sea breeze on the top of the mountain is also very strong, be careful when taking pictures, the stone for taking pictures is a bit dangerous⚠️Those who are afraid of heights are advised not to go!
Address📍: Flag Top, Chida Village, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province
Tickets🎟️: Free
Transportation🚘: 🚗Navigate to the Flag Top of Chida Village, you can see a big stone with the words 'Flag Top' written on it by the roadside, there is a free parking lot next to it, you can start climbing from the foot of the mountain here!

The sea is also endless, it's really too beautiful
2️⃣Dafu Bay & Xiangbi Bay🌟🌟🌟
Dafu Bay has a white long corridor, Xiangbi Bay is good for drone shots, if you are short on time or don't want to play too hard, you can choose not to go
3️⃣Xianren Well🌟🌟🌟🌟
A place where you can take pictures from afar or up close, take pictures through the trees where you climb the stairs, the foreground is trees, the middle ground is people, and the background is the sea, it's very beautiful!
They say it's hot here? I don't believe it | Qida Village
| Qida Village. It's really too beautiful! It has the architectural characteristics of Fujian fishing villages, and it's not inferior to foreign countries at all! You must choose a sunny day to come, the sun can better highlight the spectacular city under the mountain ⛰️
We set off from Fuzhou during the New Year's Day period, originally planned to take the high-speed train, but we had to get on the bus back to the city before 4 o'clock, which was too restrictive, and we also wanted to play other attractions around, after all, we came all the way.
So we changed our plan temporarily and chose to rent a car. We rented a Toyota Corolla, the car fee was 51 yuan + fuel fee was 70 yuan, it was really cost-effective If you can drive, it is recommended to rent a car 🚗 to go! Free and convenient~
Itinerary: Qiguanding + Beijiaobi Geological Park
🖼️Picture 1 was taken on the top of Qiguanding, it is recommended not to imitate, too dangerous, especially the small grass next to it, must not step on!! I'm still scared now
🖼️Picture 2 is a flat big stone, much safer, there are people queuing, you can also take a picture with Rio de Janeiro
🖼️Pictures 9~16 are Beijiaobi Geological Park, a free attraction, but it is also a 30-minute drive from Qiguanding, about 700 meters away from the attraction there is a parking lot where you can park. Here's the key point, next to the parking lot there is a neatly repaired staircase that you can climb up, walk to the front there is a platform, covered with tall dead grass, taking pictures 📸 is absolutely beautiful, 🖼️Picture 5, Picture 13-14 were taken here.
Accommodation in Qida Village🏨
Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel
Around Qida Village, there is only 1️⃣ high-end hotel 🏨 (I didn't expect it to be so cost-effective The room is very large, it is a floor-to-ceiling bay window ➕ unbeatable sea view room, wake up in the morning and open the curtains to see the sunrise 🌅. The room comes with drinks and tea sets.
You can enjoy the beautiful view outside the window while drinking tea.
Downstairs a few tens of meters is the quiet Dinghai Bay beach 🏖️, very quiet and comfortable. The scenic area has a seafood restaurant that comes with the hotel, the price is very reasonable, you can go to eat with confidence.
Fujian version of Rio de Janeiro | Seeing the mountains and seas in my dreams
My family, have you started looking forward to the summer of 2024 recently?
If you want to go to the beach, don't miss Qida Village! It is definitely a treasure trove of less popular and beautiful scenery, known as the "Fujian version of Rio de Janeiro". My best friend and I just came back from there, it's really beautiful, I want to share it with you right now!!
We drove from Quzhou Jiangshan, arrived in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou at four or five in the afternoon, and stayed here at night. The next day we woke up and set off for Qida Village, and the scenery along the way was also beautiful. If you don't have a car, you can take a high-speed train or bus from nearby cities such as Fuzhou, Xiamen, and Wenzhou. The transportation is quite convenient.
There are two routes to the mountain:
Walk up 1800 steps.
The locals will take you up in an SUV, 20 per person for carpooling. We are a small car, afraid of scratching the car, and the road is not good, so we did not choose this way, if your own home is an SUV, you can drive up, but you have to return the same way.
We took a local car up, and we were shocked when we arrived, it was so beautiful! It is recommended to climb to the top of the mountain, the scenery is really worth seeing, I really like to see the sea, white clouds, snow, it's really healing!! Looking down from the top of the mountain, I really feel that my depressed mood has been released, it's so cool!!
After climbing the mountain, we went to Huangqi Beach around 4 pm, just in time for the ebb tide, you can catch crabs, squids and so on. And there are very few people here, you can also walk in, experience the feeling of a deserted beach vacation. Both attractions are free, I highly recommend it to everyone!
The attractions here are free, not as commercialized as Zhoushan, and the locals are very enthusiastic❤️. And there are not many people on the beach, the water is very clean, you can clearly see the fish and shrimp crabs in the sea, it's so cool!
Accommodation recommendation: A few kilometers from Lianjiang to Qida Village, there is a Ruolin Resort Hotel, only spent 288 for a room, the front desk let us upgrade to a sea view room, we played for two days, the next morning we went to see the sunrise at sea🌄, and went to Pingliuwei Geological Park, I will write another note to share later. In general, Qida Village is a very niche, original attraction, very suitable for weekends or small holidays to relax!
My family, I highly recommend you to go to Qida Village, you will definitely not regret it if you go!!
Fuzhou tourist attractions
Escape the city plan | Go to the beautiful seaside of Fuzhou (with guide) ||| Who says you can't go anywhere in winter travel❓
At the beginning of this year, I chose to come to this niche island-Fujian Fuzhou Lianjiang County
The weather has been good during this period. I ate a bowl of noodles in Huangqi Town and drove to Pingliuwei to check in.
Here are the endless blue sky and clear blue sea, the volcanic rocks of various shapes, high and low, forming a unique coastal landscape.
🧭Navigation: Pingliuwei Geological Park
⌚️Time: 20-30 minutes from Dinghai Bay
🅿️Parking: There is a place to park here, just opposite the ticket office
🔅Pingliuwei Geological Park: Ticket🎫 Thirty
There are seaside plank roads and unique sea-eroded rocks🪨
Just during this period of good weather, you can walk around and take a casual shot🤳 and you can post a circle of friends with a lot of praise❗️
✨Tips:
Seaside🏝️ travel, hats🧢 sunglasses🕶️ are indispensable
Walk by the sea and feel the taste of the sea breeze
The reef at low tide is very suitable for taking pictures📷
🏫Accommodation:
I booked a room at the Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay
The room is fully equipped and the super large floor-to-ceiling windows can see the boundless sea when you wake up
🍱Delicious food:
Who would have thought that you could eat so delicious in Dinghai Bay‼️
It broke my perception that there is no good food in the bay area
✅Finally, the little friends who are going to play here recently should look at the guide in advance and go when the weather is good. If you don't understand, you can ask me haha
