🚩Shaanxi History Museum: Book 3 days in advance (7 days in advance for statutory holidays), tickets are released at 10, 11, 18, 19 o'clock every day, there are online ticket grabbing strategies to refer to, 🐮will➕a lot of💰, not worth it, keep grabbing! The museum opens at 8:30 (9 o'clock in winter), and it takes about a morning to visit.
·
🚩Big Wild Goose Pagoda: Located in the Da Ci'en Temple, the ticket is 40 yuan per person. If you are not particularly interested in Da Ci'en Temple, you actually don't need to go in. The better places to shoot the Big Wild Goose Pagoda are in the square, Da Ci'en Temple Ruins Park (free), and Joy City (Xicha entrance, fourth floor rooftop). In addition, the music fountain in the north square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is worth seeing. There are four shows every day at 12, 16, 19, 21 o'clock, each show is about 10 minutes, try to go at night.
·
🚩Xi'an City Wall: The ticket is 54 yuan per person. It is suitable to go at sunset. It is recommended to go up from Yongning Gate. The scenery is great. At sunset, you can also wait for the bell tower and the street lights to turn on at the place where you can see the bell tower!

when planning a trip in China, this must be included in your itinerary. I mean this is definitely just like the greatwall of China. People all over the world know about these teraccotta statues which for me are absolutely fascinating and they just leave me speechless everytime I visit this place. I mean, just imagine the amount of hard work and effort making them? Just amazing. I was fortunate enough to visit this place thrice and everytime I go there there's that feeling of excitement, it never goes away. This is an imprtant treasure in Chinese Culture that must be shared to the people who are visiting China.
How to get here: We went there by ourselves without a tour package so here it is - we took metro line 1 to Fangzhicheng Station then line 9 to Huaqing Pool station. Once you get ther hop on to lintong bus 602 to the terracotta museum. It will take you about 2 or 2 and half hours depending on where your starting point is. Enjoy your visit!

China's Terracotta Warriors 🏯🗡️🇨🇳
📍 Address: Lintong District, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. Located about 30 kilometers east of the city center.
🌟 Highlights: The Terracotta Warriors are an impressive sight to behold, with thousands of life-sized statues standing guard in the pits. While the site is not as mind-blowing as some may expect, it is still a remarkable feat of ancient craftsmanship and a must-see for history buffs. Take a guided tour to learn more about the history and significance of these fascinating figures.
👎🏻 Rating: While the Terracotta Warriors are certainly worth a visit, it's important to manage your expectations. Some may find the experience underwhelming, as the figures are somewhat spread out and may not be as awe-inspiring as they appear in pictures.
🤔 Opinion: Visiting the Terracotta Warriors is like seeing soccer players on a field - impressive in their own right, but not necessarily a mind-blowing experience. While I enjoyed my visit, I found myself relying on zoom lenses to capture the intricate details of the statues. That being said, the site is still a remarkable feat of ancient craftsmanship and a fascinating glimpse into China's rich history.
👉🏻 Motivation: If you're a history buff or simply curious about ancient Chinese culture, a visit to the Terracotta Warriors is still a must-do. Just remember to manage your expectations and approach the site with an open mind. And who knows, you may just discover a newfound appreciation for these remarkable figures. 🏯🗡️🇨🇳

The Terra-cotta Warriors in Xi’an!
This was a once in a lifetime experience! We lucked out and went on a day where it was not busy at all! We were able to walk leisurely around the grounds and museum.
We hired an English speaking tour guide for ¥200 and she was worth the extra money! She was great with my son and even got us into a free tea tasting!
I highly recommend coming here for a chance to see Chinese culture up close! I have traveled all around China and this is by far my favorite attraction/cultural site. You can even meet the man who discovered the warriors and get a picture with him!
We spent about 3 hours here and felt like we saw everything!

The Terracotta Army
Witness the vast army of the first Emperor of China - Qin Shi Huang! Said to have been buried with the Emperor as far back as 221 - 207 BC, this impressive collection of terracotta sculptures is amazing to see in person. Discovered by local farmers in 1974, this is now an incredible wonder of the world that has become a must-visit for those visiting Xi'an and China.
You'll need to set aside a good few hours to make the most of your visit and see as much as possible, because the complex is pretty huge.
1. The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses: This is where you will find the three main pits and the largest excavation site pit filled with the terracotta warriors standing to attention.
2. Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum Site: which includes the burial mound of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum.
Find it: Lintong, 40km northeast of Xi'an, China

Blast from the Past—UNESCO HERITAGE
📍Terracotta Warriors Museum, Xi’an, China
Quick history: It was said that the whole set up of the Terracotta Army was buried along with Emperor Qin Shi Huang when he died. People believed that the army will protect the Emperor in his afterlife.
The whole set up of the Army was said to be the actual formation of them when they are about to battle or on combat. Seeing their formation and positing during the battle gave a lot of ideas to the researchers about the combat strategies they had in the past.

The Terracotta Army pits are located about 1.5 km from the first Qin Emperor's mausoleum. They contain life-size clay soldiers, horses, and chariots which guard the tomb of the emperor. The first pit, found by local farmers while they were digging a well, is the largest and has around 6,000 figures. The other smaller pits were excavated later.
Sharer.
The figures, dating from approximately the late third century BCE, were discovered in 1974 by local farmers in Xian, Shaanxi, China. 👌

Metro from Bell Tower to the Terracotta Worriors!
If you are looking for a cheaper way to go and see the awesome worriors, then look no further!
On the 29th of September 2020, I embarked on a journey to see the famous worriors. At first when I enquired about the transportation I found out that a private car cost ¥400 return trip, DiDi (chinese app) cost ¥124 single trip, then me being me, I was convinced there was a better way to get there without leaving a big hole in my pocket, that's when I took the metro option, which was easy, fast and cheaper, it only cost ¥8 for a return ticket, and a bus cost ¥10 (make sure you have cash with you for the bus fare, they don't scan, lol) that was awesome, so Here are directions:
First go the Bell Tower, between entrance 7 and 8, you'll find the metro station (Zhonglou Zhan) which is line 2, take the metro that goes to BERKEZHAN and transfer to line 1, there take the metro that goes to FANGZHICHENG ZHAN, this is the last station, when you arrive there, exit the metro station and outsude there is a bus station, then take bus no: 306 that will take you to the Terracotta worriors which also happens to be the last station for the bus, so relax and enjoy the road.
When coming back, take the bus and it will drop you inside the bus depot/ station, which is next to the metro station, get on the metro and return home😉 refer to the pictures for clear directions and have fun!!!

this is truly a masterpiece if ancient history. I bought tickets on Trip.com and I got a little discount. I saw in the comments that the window to collect the tickets I'd aside of the normal ticket windows but eventually it appeared to be in another building yet next to the one with ticket windows selling physical tickets, so I had to look around but once I found the place the process was smooth and fast. The public transportation is great. I go by subway till the end of the metro line (blue) and then took the bus 306 (even though Baidu maps showed me different one but local people byolf me this one is better option) I paid Only 10 rmb in total to get to the mausoleum. it is huge so be prepared for 4 hours of jaw dropping experience.

First stop ~ Terracotta Warriors Museum, worth a visit! !! !! It is also good to drive around Laoshan. ⛰
Beacon Tower recommends not to go, especially if you do n’t drive an SUV. The road is too difficult to drive.
🌙At night (long hatred song) in Tsinghua Palace, I personally feel bad, I am sorry for this ticket. Tickets of any price cannot be selected. I bought them to get the ticket to know the number of rows. I bought 338 yuan in 18 rows. And personally, the performance is not very exciting. 🌚
It ’s too far away than the one I saw in Zhangjiajie (Charming Xiangxi). Charming Xiangxi is worth seeing! There are stories, plots and dubbing!

Whether it is from Yinchuan Zhongwei or Taiyuan Shijiazhuang or Hangzhou Wenzhou, most cities always have a lot of special tickets to Xi'an. At this point, I feel that it is more convenient to talk about the little friends who are leaving. You don't have to feel a pain because of the huge difference in the ticket price.
This trip to Xi'an is a transit journey at 12 o'clock. Purchased a connecting ticket, transit for nearly 20 hours. Arrived at Xi'an Xianyang Airport at midnight, the transfer room that was given when you purchased your ticket for Trip was accompanied by an airport transfer. It is very convenient. Just remember the ticket time of the next day, and come back early by car. After
rest, after getting up the next morning, you can take a bus or take a taxi to the city to stroll and taste the authentic food of Xi'an. I think it will be better than waiting for a takeaway at the hotel. After all, the take-off of the Xi'an Airport store is a very high threshold.
If you want to check out the Huangshabing's Imperial Mausoleum toilet, rent a car! The airport rents a car where you want to go and where to go. Save a lot of extra time. You can roam the ancient city of Xi'an to the maximum extent.
Xi'an is not only a ancient city with profound cultural heritage, but also not only mutton foam, Xi'an Liangpi, and clay figurines, soldiers toilet. There are more humanities and beautiful scenery waiting for me to discover.
I was in Xi'an's twelve hours, although I couldn't fully understand the culture and heritage of Xi'an, but because of the transit encounter, I slowly explored the charm of Xi'an, I think it is another flavor.
My first twelve o'clock actually passed away very quickly. I feel that it is over at the beginning, but it is still unfinished, but I think it is because of this, the next twelve o'clock, and soon can be planned again. It is.
Selene.
The discovery of Terracotta Warriors and Horses said that local farmers had accidentally discovered some pieces of pottery figurines while digging a well in a gravel piled up in a gravel. After more than a year of careful exploration and excavation by archaeologists, it was discovered that it is a large-scale large-scale terracotta warrior pit (the No. 1 crater), which is buried with Taoyuan and Taoma about 6000, which are similar in size to real people and real horses. Pieces. A sensation and shock in eating in China and the world. The No. 1 pit is the largest and rectangular, and is a main force array of chariots and infantry. Opened in 1979, it is 230 meters long and 62 meters wide. It is 4.5 meters deep and 6.5 meters deep from the original surface, with an area of 14260 square meters. There are 10 tunnels with a width of 2.5 meters in the pit, forming a wide area of 9 north and south, surrounded by a corridor. More than 1,000 excavations have been unearthed, 8 chariots, 32 horses, and nearly 10,000 bronzes. According to the arrangement density of the unearthed soldiers, it is estimated that more than 6,000 pieces of terracotta warriors and horses are buried in the No. 1 pit. Looking down on the railing, the three columns of infantry in the east face the east, each column of 68 is the striker of the military array; followed by the 38-way column between the chariot and the infantry to form the main body of the military array; the north and south sides of the pit have one column The cross-teams facing south, north, and west are the wing guards and guards of the military array. A good ancient military squadron 2000 years ago, they are strong and rigorous, the military capacity is rigorous, imposing and unstoppable. In an instant, you will feel the disappearance of historical distance. A mysterious force will bring you into the shouting and fighting. The ancient battlefield of Che Yuming is really "not seen before, but not seen later." Transportation
To the Terracotta Warriors:
If you are in Xi'an Xianyang International Airport
Option 1: Please take the Airport Bus Linyi Line (Airport - Linyi Bus Station ticket price 30 yuan) to Linyi Bus Station. After the transfer, you will arrive at the Terracotta Warriors.

A piece of broken tile was shattered and covered under the splendid modern architecture. The history of a yellowed page showed a glamorous charm. After the baptism of the Chu Army and the blemishes of blood and blood, the terracotta warriors and horses finally arrived in the 20th century. In the 1970s, he came out of the loess and revived brilliantly in the era of the Chinese nation.

Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses began to shock the Chinese and foreign countries from the day of discovery. They are known as the "eighth wonder of the world". They are actually the burial pits of Emperor Qin Shihuang, belonging to a category of ancient tomb sculptures.
In Linyi District, about 50 kilometers away from the urban area, tickets for 120 yuan can be purchased online in advance. You can enter the park by brushing your ID card at the gate, and the elderly over 65 years old are under the age of 16 Free of charge, tickets in addition to the Terracotta Warriors Museum also contains the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, there is a shuttle bus between the two parks. If you want to play both, you need to grasp the time.
We are driving by car after 4 pm on the day of May 1st. Most of the tourists have already returned. There are not many people on the highway. There are not many people on the highway. Be sure to ask a guide! The important thing is said three times! After the entrance and the entrance, the price can be divided according to the number of people. With the explanation of the tour guide, the history behind the terracotta warriors will be more deeply understood. Otherwise, the "eighth miracle" is just a pile of clay figurines in front of you!
This is the largest ancient military museum in China. There are now three craters. The No. 1 pit is the most shocking. According to the tour guide, the pottery figurines were all fragments when they were unearthed. They were spelled out by the later pieces. When the soil was unearthed, the pottery was colored, but it became tarnished due to the oxidized color.
The craftsmanship of ancient craftsmen has to be admired. If you look at it, you will find that each look is different, and even the lines on the soles of the shots are clearly visible. The three pits that are currently seen are just the tip of the iceberg. Many of them are not excavated. Many pottery figurines can still be seen on the scene. Because the repair takes a long time, it is estimated that it will be seen in the first year of life, and it will be seen and cherished.
Yuan..
It is undoubtedly a sight of people and a place that you don't want to miss. All people are no strangers to Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and Terracotta Warriors are known as "the eighth wonder of the world"

Xi'an Travel | The Eighth Wonder of the World
Passing through Xi'an, only half a day of free time, as a foodie, I did not choose to go to Huimin Street to eat, but to see what is called the eighth wonder of the world. Terracotta warriors.
Terracotta is really shocking, development and protection work is done well, there is a one-to-one terracotta warrior in the museum can take photos (purchase) Oh ~
Planet_B602.
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang were hailed as "the eighth wonder of the world" and became a golden business card of ancient Chinese brilliant civilization. In 1978, former French President Jacques Chirac said after the visit: "There are seven miracles in the world. The discovery of Qin Lan can be said to be the eighth wonder. If you don't look at Qin, you can't count China."
In March 1974, the peasants of Xiyang Village, Lushan Town, Linyi County, found a few broken clay pots of the same size as real people when they drilled wells in the area 1.5 km away from the tomb. And the excavation, the terracotta warriors and horses see the sky again.
Pit 1 was discovered by farmers in the well, and the second pit was a scientific discovery by archaeologists. In April-May 1976, the archaeological team had a purposeful drilling work on the north side of the east end of the No. 1 pit. On April 23, another pit with terracotta warriors was discovered.
The original terracotta warriors and horses have bright and harmonious paintings. Some of the pottery figurines found in the excavation process still retain vivid colors when they are unearthed. However, after being unearthed, they are oxidized by oxygen, and the color disappears in less than ten seconds. Made of white ash. What you can see now is only the traces of the remaining paintings.
