For a healing trip in Fukuoka, head to Ukiha!!
How to get there: Hakata Station -> Ukiha (Take the Yufuin Express)
Attraction: Ukiha Inari Shrine
Hotel: Harazuru Grand Sky Hotel (Breakfast recommended!!!)
Recommended food & restaurant: Bread Mocca
I've been to Japan many times, but I've always traveled to downtown areas, so this time I wanted to travel quietly and peacefully without Koreans, so I chose Ukiha!! Since it's not an area that many people go to, I searched a lot and finally found it, but the moment I arrived, all my tired feelings disappeared as the scenery was so beautiful that it welcomed us!!! I walked to the hotel while looking at the green grassland and feeling the cool breeze, but since it was quite a distance, I recommend taking a taxi! The hotel felt old, but the staff was friendly and there were a lot of free services (bicycles, karaoke, table tennis, badminton courts, etc.) Although the bicycles weren't that great, they were the best for taking a free walk around the neighborhood. You absolutely must eat breakfast!! There are many kinds and it's really delicious~
When you go back, they call a free taxi, so be sure to use it!
I regret staying 2 nights in Ukiha because it was so good and the people were really kind~ The next day, I went to the Ukiha Tourist Information Center to ride an electric bike and see the Inari Shrine!! It was the best! People rent bikes right away, so it would be good to go early in the morning~ You rent it for 1000 yen, but if you bring the receipt you used in Ukiha, they'll give you 500 yen back! I went to a mocha bakery and tried to eat the famous Totoro bread, but it was sold out, so I bought a different bread, but of course, there's a reason why it's a famous place! Everything was delicious!!
After that, I bought a parfait and a melon soda, but I forgot the receipt..(The parfait was so delicious!!!)
So there was another famous bookstore in Ukiha, so I bought a postcard!
Inari Shrine looks really pretty, but it's on the top of a mountain.. I sweat a lot... I don't recommend going by bike
If you're planning a trip to Fukuoka, I recommend a healing trip to the downtown area, but also to the smaller cities such as Ukiha and Hita!!
