Taipei Hot Spring Hotel Recommendation
Taipei Beitou Guest House Hot Spring Resort.
Taipei is a world-renowned travel and vacation destination, attracting thousands of tourists daily for sightseeing and relaxation. Among the many excellent hot spring hotels in Taipei, one standout is the Beitou Guest House Hot Spring Resort.
The unique feature of this hotel is its spacious bathrooms and large hot spring pools. Each pool is equipped with a faucet that directly dispenses hot spring water at over 40°C!
During our three-day stay, we soaked in the indoor hot spring three times and picked up some tips for enjoying hot springs:
- Fill the hot spring pool for about 15 minutes. Initially, the water is too hot, so you’ll need to wait around half an hour for it to cool down before soaking. While you can mix in cold water, it might reduce the therapeutic effects.
- Start by soaking your feet to adjust to the temperature, then gradually immerse your lower legs, thighs, and upper body. The water level should ideally not exceed your chest, and you should avoid submerging your head.
- The environment plays a crucial role in the hot spring experience. My favorite part is enjoying the lush greenery outside the window while soaking, which helps relax the mind.
- After soaking for about ten minutes, step out of the tub to cool down and let your sweat evaporate. Then, take a cold shower before starting another round.
