The Lisbon Cathedral is located in Largo da Se, 1100-585 Lisboa, Portugal and is around 600 meters 8 minutes walk from Terreiro do Paco metro station. It is open from Monday to Saturday 1000-1800, closed on Sunday. The E28 tram line also passes here.
It was built in 1147, and survived many earthquakes and has been modified.
The Cathedral's Gothic cloister has several Roman, Arabic and Medirval remains which have been excavated a few years ago.
The Treasury is located on the second floor of the Cathedral, made up of four halls with suits, jewels and relics from various periods.
With more than 800 years of history, this is the most important and oldest church in Lisbon, and worth discovering every corner of this building of undeniable historical, architectural, religious, and spiritual value.

The cathedral hosts two parts to it. The museum, which is mostly upstairs and the main cathedral and chapels.
You could theoretically just visit the naos part of the church without paying anything however, we think there is quite a lot to see so definitely worth buying the tickets
