Get Your Perfect Photos at Osaka Umeda Sky
🇯🇵 Did I not mention the Osaka Umeda Sky Building to you? You'll be amazed by the number of times you can ascend and descend the escalator tunnel just to capture that perfect shot. And that's even before we paid for the entrance ticket.
Of course, since you're here, you absolutely must visit the sky roof as well. It's not just about getting amazing pictures, but also about experiencing a breathtaking view that you don't get to see at ground level. It's truly spectacular. While I didn't manage to capture the perfect shots, the overall experience was mesmerizing and more than satisfying.

Amazing Trip S1E3 - Sky garden
#2023travelwish #tripblazers
Umeda sky building is really an eyes opener. I never thought it to be so unforgettable. The truth is I only planned to visit because I bought the Osaka amazing pass so entry to Umeda Sky Building is free else the ticket cost 1500 yen for adult.
Both exterior and interior of Umeda Sky Building looks sophisticated and futuristic. Is pretty amazing how spot clean and white it is. You took the life to 35th floor then change to escalator to bring you up to 39th floor where you can chill with coffee and beer.
Rooftop garden is on open air offering 360 degree unblock view of whole Osaka. I came up around 4.30pm and waited for the sunset. Is incredibly beautiful.
I had a drink at the lounge while waiting for the sky to turn dark for the night view.
Definitely coming back if visiting Osaka.
Tips : There is a food street at basement of the building, which served very good food at affordable price.
to be continued..

One of my favourite places in Osaka. The lift is made of glass, the escalator floats in the air and connects the two towers that make up the Umeda Sky Building, and the sky garden itself is open-air; so no reflective glass to spoil the view. The building itself was once voted one of the top buildings in the world, and I can understand why. An incredible building with a more incredible view of Osaka and beyond.
Beautiful night view of Osaka!
From this place, i can see different perspectives of Osaka. The view was really amazing at night. I got 360 degree unobstructed view of Osaka from the top of deck.
I also enjoy my escalator ride between the two towers.
Activities🚶♀️: Can go up through lift and escalator. it’s bit high and pricey, though.
Parking 🚗: We walked all the way. I think walking is more fun to enjoy the city!
Address📍: Umeda Sky Building located at the centre of Osaka, Japan.
Entry fees 🎟: Free of charge if you have Osaka Amazing Pass.

Taking a ferris wheel at Umeda was so fun. I was expecting it to be like a normal ferris wheel which is pretty smooth and relaxing, but it was more of an adventure ferris wheel that was pretty fast and fun haha. But I could still look down the view of the beautiful city of Osaka and when I got to the rooftop, the view was even more stunning! When you're going to Umeda for ferris wheel ride, don't forget to make sure your way up to the highest floor and enjoy the panoramic view of the city!

Umeda Sky Building at Umeda near Osaka station. It is the 19th tallest building in Osaka, consist of two 40-storey towers that connect at their two uppermost stories and one of the most recognizable landmark in the city. Actually Im afraid of heights but facing my fears is one of the most memorable thing that I can do, so if you had the chance, go and visit this place too. The scene above is very beautiful. Dont forget to visit also Kiji restaurant located at the ground floor to try their Okonomiyaki, one of Osaka’s delicacy.
Memorable appreciation the beautiful scenery from the rooftop of a high building. Anyone can do anywhere. For the Osaka city view with 360 degree from different angles without any obstacles from the rooftop of Umeda Sky Building and going up to the roof with high speed elevators and steep sky escalators without charges(just show the Osaka Amazing Pass), it is so exciting and memorable experience. Great value.

A good place to see the panoramic view of Osaka City - Umeda Sky Building
This is a good place to see the panoramic view of Osaka city, of course, is a place where couples are keen to punch. The night view of Osaka seen here is really fascinating. If you look carefully and wait patiently, you can see the pictures of many trains passing by. It is the largest city in Kansai! At the top of the
Blue Sky Building, a 360-degree view of the circular observatory was built, and the trails on the evening stand were as beautiful as the stars, so it is not just to enjoy the night view. Of course, the height of the building is also a great place to enjoy the sunset, as far as possible at 5:30. In order to attract couples, there are special specials for lovers, love locks, marriage societies, etc. Walking on the fluorescent trails is like dreaming romance!
Although it is said that the couple is concentrated, it can't be a place where good friends are laughing and laughing~ You see these friends are especially cute. Look carefully on the railings, all of which are full of love locks for marriage.
Umeda Sky Building is a free spot to buy Kansai Chow, which was originally thought to be just an ordinary high-rise building. I didnt expect the scenery inside to be super stunning~
It should be a great place to enjoy the night view of Osaka. It is also the most romantic place in Osaka, located on the top floor of the Blue Sky Building. The top floors of the two high-rise buildings are connected, and the designer designed it into a sky garden with a lookout.
First of all, the above view is super beautiful. It is recommended that the time be past 5 pm, so that you can shoot the sunset and see the night scene.
There is a fluorescent light above, there is a romantic and dreamy feeling, and the fluorescent light will also map to the white part of the person, so it is recommended that you wear white clothes or take a little white props. Going, the body will be illuminated in a colorful ~
The sightseeing layer has two floors, 39 floors are indoors with glass, 40 floors are outdoor, 40 floors are undoubtedly better, but the wind is very cold .
Location: 1-1-1 Oyodonaka, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture

You can look forward to the Osaka City streets and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in Osaka Castle, Osaka Plain, Ikomayama, and Osaka Bay. The night view is romantic. Go to Umeda Sky Building if you travel to Osaka because that’s one place to get a Birds Eye view of the entire Osaka city line from very high up. It’s definitely worth your time to go up to take very nice pictures !
I want to go to Hong Kong because I want to visit the different attractions like Disneyland
Panoramic views of Osaka
If you’re in Osaka, don’t miss the chance to visit the Umeda Sky Building, which has a picture-perfect 360 view of the entire city skyline in Osaka! 🌃
The best time to visit is in the evening where you get to see it transition from day to night, with beautiful evening views 🌅(which I unfortunately did not make it in time for because of the long queue).
Tip: You can still enjoy an indoor view of the skyline (as seen from my last picture) without purchasing a ticket, as they actually have a cafe/souvenir shop that you can visit below the observatory (and you get to take this beautiful escalator as well!)
If given a chance, I would love to visit Victoria Peak ⛰️ in Hong Kong, where I can admire the dramatic change of the view from day to Hong Kong's “Million-dollar night view”.
So the question is: Do you know if the escalator is going up or going down? 🤔

Great Building Structure
#thingstodo
Great building structure in the Umeda area. The buildings are interconnected with the escalators and has earth quake proof technologies explained in the upper floors. Requires some walk from the station but worth to take a look. Entrance fee is required and there's a cafe in the top floor where you can view the entire city from the top. The highest floor has a sky view where you exposed to the air. Suggested to have an Osaka Amazing pass to bypass the queues and to enter for free as it costs 1500 , which constitute nearly 50% of your pass.
Stunning golden hour in Umeda Sky Building
Doubt if it worths it when see almost a hundred of people lining up for the elevator. Turns out the scene was stunning and I didn’t regret it. Better than the view of Tokyo Skytree but it might because we happened to arrive in the perfect golden hour time.
Umeda Sky Building
#2024wish The Floating Garden Observatory is the main attraction of the Umeda Sky Building. You will not regret buying a ticket for it or if you have the Amazing Pass, don't ever miss it. The experience going up or down the sky escalator is mesmerizing, I ended riding them 3 times up and down to wait for a perfect photo with no one 😄 on them. Fantastic view up there you got to see it for yourself.
I wish to go back here in 2025
Umeda Sky Building
The “Kuchu Teien Observatory of the Umeda Sky Building” is a landmark of Umeda, Osaka and an observatory facility made up of 3 floors (39th, 40th, rooftop). This has two towers connected by a floating observatory located in the financial district. Extraordinary 360 degree views over Osaka. Fascinating building design with escalators and lifts to take you to the viewing floor. There may be queues for the lifts.
I wish to be back here again in 2024. I miss Osaka.

Get wowed by Umeda Sky Building
A must to visit for anyone who like tall towers, design is really cool with white colour scheme. Travelled up on the seemingly never ending escalator and look at the view from full glass surrounding. At the top level, scenery is nice as it’s open aired. Best to go at odd hours to avoid long queues as it’s a very popular place, distance is very far from metro station roughly 20mins walk. Entrance is free with Osaka amazing pass before 4pm. #Umeda
One of Osaka’s iconic landmarks
Umeda Sky Building consists of two 40-storey towers with a connecting “Floating Garden Observatory” at the 39th floor.
The access to Osaka Umeda Sky Building sky garden is included in our Osaka Amazing Pass.
The most iconic thing of this building is the structure built to withstand earthquake. The escalator up the observation deck is nice for photo taking. There is a cafe for you to take a pitstop and admire the view too.
