I finally made it to the other side of the Anywhere Door, Xietang Old Street
I finally made it to the other side of the Anywhere Door, Xietang Old Street.
During the May Day holiday, I finally made it to the other side of the Anywhere Door, Xietang Old Street, which is located on the bank of Xietang River to the east of Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park. It is built on the original site of Xietang Town, which has a history of more than 760 years. Through the planning and design of antique architecture, Suzhou-style gardens, and green horticulture, it integrates traditional culture and modern commerce organically, creating a leisure district that combines dining, shopping, entertainment, and culture.
The old street above the Xietang River is brimming with the spirit of spring
After swimming, I came to the nearby Xietang Old Street. The old street by the Xietang River is full of spring vitality and breathtakingly beautiful, attracting many couples to take wedding photos. Wandering on the cobblestone paths surrounded by lush greenery on a sunny afternoon is refreshing and delightful. After enjoying the scenery, having a bowl of Ao Zao noodles at a noodle shop is truly pleasant.
This free lantern festival in Suzhou is just too romantic
This free lantern festival in Suzhou is just too romantic.
Suzhou has never disappointed when it comes to romance.
The lantern festival at Xietang Old Street has completely captivated me, especially the lanterns on the water with ancient poems written on them, which fully enhance the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere.
Xietang Old Street, Line 5, Xietang Station, free admission.
Lantern hours: 9.16~10.06 18:00-21:30 Market hours: every weekend afternoon from 15:00
The old street of Xietang is festive and quiet during the holiday
On the occasion of the Spring Festival, I came to the old street of Xietang again. The street is decorated with lanterns and festive atmosphere, but there are not many tourists on the small paths of the old street. Under the warm sun, there are people chatting and drinking tea inside and outside the teahouse. The spring plum in the old street has bloomed, indicating that spring is not far away. The old street of Xietang is a good place to be quiet and leisurely in the noisy festival.
Suzhou is really suitable for weekend tours, strolling in gardens and eating snacks!

Suzhou Xietang Old Street, although commercialized, does not lack the charm of ancient commercial streets
Suzhou Xietang Old Street, located in Xietang Town, Suzhou Industrial Park. It starts from Songtao Street in the west and extends to Xingtang Street in the east, covering an area of 16 hectares. cassia.serenity.valentine Mid-Autumn Night Feast | The lanterns on Xietang Old Street are splendid
⭐️Xietang Old Street is up to something again, the annual Mid-Autumn Festival is coming, and the lanterns on the old street have been hung up half a month in advance.
⭐️Looking from the Songtao Street Bridge, the huge lotus ribbon on the bridge corridor and the lanterns illuminate a large area of the lake, which is too splendid.
⭐️Many lanterns have also been placed in the rockery and small rivers in the old street, especially the most romantic on the lake surface, which has the meaning of ancient people releasing water lanterns for blessings.
⭐️In addition, many stalls have already been set up near the carp pond, and it is expected that there will be a lively market here on the 11th of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
⭐️Mid-Autumn Festival, won't you come and see~

The late autumn of Xietang Old Street
It's early winter, and the patches of Metasequoia on Xietang River are still colorful. After admiring the redwoods, you might as well walk eastward and see the late autumn of Xietang Old Street.
The old street is not crowded with tourists. Red leaves, ginkgo, pomelo, koi... etc., the autumn leaves of the old street have entered their final beauty. Take advantage of the sunny and warm weather, stroll on the stone road in the late autumn of the old street, relax your mood, leave some autumn scenery, and fully enjoy the gift of nature.
There are many characteristic restaurants and teahouses on the old street. You might as well look at the scenery there, drink tea, and appreciate the slow life of Suzhou.
Ticket purchase: The old street is free for sightseeing.
Transportation: There are buses and subways to get there, and there are surface and underground parking lots for self-driving.
Xitangtang Old Street, compared to the famous Shantang Street, compared to the popular Pingjiang Road, there is too much quiet here~ there is no voice, no chaos, and some are calm waters on both sides of the water~ from dusk At sunset, at the beginning of the Hua Deng, there is only a beautiful painting here - this is a place for a daze!
Suzhou Xiaozhong Old Street! It has a history of more than 760 years in the old street of Xietang. It may not be as long as the Qilishantang street, or it may not have the literary atmosphere of other old streets, but it is like a simple old man telling us My own story, Xitangtang Old Street is located in the east of the Jinji Lake in the Suzhou Industrial Park. The houses along the street are mainly one or two floors. The traditional white wall and black tile, the head is carved and painted, and the ceiling is tiled. Ground. Basically, it is the familiar style of the Jiangnan water town. If you have time, come here, take a look at the house in the old street of Tsang Tong, take the road to the old street of Tsang Tong, taste the dishes of the old street in Tsang Tong, drink the tea from the old street in Chi Tong, and listen to the old street in Chi Tong. The story will surely make you forget to return, body and mind to empty, not to the old street of the oblique pond, do not understand the ancient and modern crossing
