Took the family here and honestly the menu is huge, so everyone found something they liked. We stayed way longer than planned just chatting, no one rushed us. My only tiny complaint is the service was a bit slow at first, but once we ordered it was fine. Good spot if you want a chill meal with people you actually like. 😊

The Greek salad and tzatziki were really good, and portions are big. It's right by the road so a bit noisy, but the food makes up for it.

Stopped in for a late lunch and grabbed a table outside. Had the stifado, which was tender and rich, exactly what I needed. The owner came by for a quick chat and even poured a little raki at the end. Nice touch, especially after a long day. Wine list is short, but the local red paired fine with the meal. Nothing fancy, just honest food and good hospitality.

The stifado was pretty good—beef properly tender, shallots whole and soft like they should be. They swapped my wine for something that matched better, didn't charge extra. Felt like a place locals actually go to. Decent spot if you're in the area.

Food was decent, nice spot by the water. Took a while for our order and one dish never showed up. But the flavors made up for it.

The truffle and prosciutto pizza was solid, and honestly the portion was bigger than I expected for the price. Cocktails were fine too. Good lunch pick if you're in the area.

The eggs Benedict with salmon was really good—hollandaise had that nice tangy balance, not too heavy. Tiramisu pancakes were sweet but not cloying, kids loved them. I’m picky about fresh ingredients, and everything tasted properly made. Service was quick and friendly. Only thing, it got a bit busy around noon, but that’s fine.

Came here on my last evening in Chania. The Greek salad was the best I had all trip, honestly. Moussaka was solid too, really well made. Had a local Syrah with it, went down easy. Place was a bit busy but that's fine. Wish I'd found it earlier.

The burger was 15 euros and honestly, that’s a solid deal. It came out well put together, juicy, not falling apart. Probably the best value I found around here. The place itself was a bit tight seating-wise, but I’d still go back for that price.

The sea bream was done just right, and they happily made that special sauce happen. Free watermelon at the end was a nice little touch. Live music kept things lively though.

Good spot for a lazy beach day. Beds are comfy and you can order drinks right from your spot. Just mind the 15 euro minimum per umbrella set.

Stopped here for lunch and honestly the food was the highlight 🍽️ Got the grilled octopus and it was super tender, not chewy at all. View of the beach from the table was a nice bonus too. Service was friendly but a bit slow since it got busy. Still, I’d come back with friends for a chill afternoon.

The creamy mushroom pasta was honestly the highlight—so hot and flavorful, you could tell they actually put care into it. Our waiter was super sweet too, checked on us just the right amount. Perfect spot for a chill catch-up with friends. Would come back just for that dish again 😊

The moussaka was solid and the portion felt fair for what they charged. They even made something off-menu when I asked, which was nice. Not fancy, but you get your money's worth here.

Came here twice while we were in town. The lamb in olive oil was properly tender, decent flavour. They gave us a small cheesecake on the house, which was a nice touch. Only thing—toilets don’t have seats, and it’s a bit loud near the road. Still, pretty good for a casual meal.

The veggie mixed platter was the reason I’d go back. Asked for it vegan and they handled it without fuss. Haricot beans were the star, zucchini cooked just right. They even sent out raki and a vegan dessert at the end, didn’t expect that. Portion was decent for the price, left full but not stuffed.

Fresh seafood right on the water. Portions were solid, prices fair for what you get. Went back twice during the trip. Service was a bit slow at peak hours, but nothing crazy.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying way longer than planned. The raki came with little snacks, which I didn’t expect. Staff were super friendly, made the whole thing feel easy. Place has that relaxed local vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Wine was decent too. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area again.

The view is the main draw here, no question. Pizza was surprisingly good too, a nice break from the usual Greek spots. Lunch service was quick enough for a decent stop.

Maria took great care of us. The coffee and desserts hit the spot on a hot Chania afternoon. Only wish we had more time to sit longer.

Lovely spot right on the beach—sunbeds were comfy and the bay is really pretty. Had a nice lunch, nothing fancy but fresh and tasty. Coffee was a bit meh, but that’s fine. The bus stop being right across the road made it easy to get there. Would sit here again for a lazy afternoon.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Pizza with prosciutto was solid, crust nice and crispy. Bruschetta was decent too. Place was busy but we got a table fine. Not the cheapest in Paleochora but you can tell they use good stuff. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

We stopped here after the beach and I was happy to see they had a few lighter options on the menu. I went with the Greek salad and the tomatoes were actually ripe, which is not always the case. The feta was creamy and fresh. Portion was decent for the price. My only small complaint is the bread could have been warmer, but the salad itself was really satisfying.

Stopped here after Balos. Food was solid, felt proper Greek. Quiet spot, nice break from the crowds. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

The chicken schnitzel with that orange-dressed salad really stood out. Portions are huge too. Terrace is cute, surrounded by plants.

The veggie burger was surprisingly good, my friend said hers was the best she’s had in a while. Service was quick too, perfect for a casual catch-up 😊

The burger here is seriously good. Fresh, juicy, not overdressed. Hand-cut fries on the side were solid too. I've had worse at places charging double. Service was fine, nothing fancy, but I didn't come for that. If you're in the area and want a proper burger without the fuss, this does the job.

The cheese pie is the one to get. Flaky crust, salty filling, still warm when it came out. Milk cake was good too, sweet but not heavy. Paid less than I expected for both. That's pretty much all I need from a bakery.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the moussaka—pretty solid, actually. Place is small but the menu feels properly Greek. Staff were nice, not pushy. They even brought out raki and a little ice cream at the end, which I didn’t expect. That was a nice touch. Maybe not the cheapest, but I left full and happy.

We've been eating here for years and the meatballs with ouzo sauce are still my favorite thing on the menu. The place gets busy but the food stays consistent. Vasili's crew always takes care of us.
