Stopped in for a late lunch and honestly the Greek salad caught me off guard—massive bowl, really fresh tomatoes, good chunk of feta on top. They also had fresh calamari that day, which you don't see often in this area. Nothing fancy about the place, but the food did the talking. Would go back if I'm craving proper Cretan flavors again.

Solid meze spot. Winter salad and spicy sausages in red sauce were the standouts. Staff clearly care about what they do. Good for a chill dinner.

The lentaris family really knows how to take care of you. Their own farm ingredients make such a difference, you can taste it in everything. The smoked pork was tender and flavorful, the goat too. Pool was cold but honestly perfect after eating. Just wish they had more vegetable sides, felt a bit heavy on the meat.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table near the window. The grilled octopus was decent, tender without being chewy. House wine did the job. Host was friendly enough, not over the top. Prices fair for what you get. Place gets a bit noisy when it fills up, but that's on us for coming at peak time. Pretty good spot overall.

Specials board was solid. Fresh stuff, changes daily. Owner actually knows how to explain the dishes. Good wine pick too.

Came for the hike, stayed for the food. Portions are big and everything tasted like proper Crete. They even gave us homemade cake on the house—nice touch.

Sat in the back garden under the grapevines, really peaceful back there. Had the lamb and some traditional Cretan dishes, everything cooked properly, no shortcuts. House wine was decent too, went well with the food. Bill came out fair for what we got. Place was busy but not chaotic. Would sit outside again next time.

Went back a second time because the T-bone veal was that good. Fries were crispy and salty just right. Probably the best meal I had on the island.

The view over the lake is killer, but honestly the food holds its own. Had the moussaka, really well seasoned. Staff were nice too.

The grilled octopus was spot on, really fresh and tender. The lamb was good too, but the octopus is what I’d come back for.

Stumbled onto this place our last night in Maleme and honestly wished we'd found it earlier. The food was the best we had the whole trip. Sat outside, nice and quiet, not too touristy feeling. Menu's pretty big but the daily specials are the way to go. Only thing is we came late so some stuff was sold out, but what we got was solid.

Been coming here for years and the octopus is still spot on. Chef even came out to say hi again. Tzatziki's solid too. Place just feels right.

The beef stifado here was the real deal. Big chunks of meat, super tender, rich sauce that soaked into the potatoes. Portion was huge too. Wish I'd found this place earlier instead of on the last night. Only had it once but that stew alone makes me want to come back.

Came in hungry, left completely stuffed. Got the grilled octopus and it was spot on, tender not rubbery. Portions are seriously big, could probably share one plate. Staff were nice, didn't rush us even though it was busy. Solid spot if you're in the area and want real Greek food without the tourist markup.

We stopped by for lunch after the beach. Grilled sardines and bream were spot on, shrimp saganaki was pretty good too. Can't complain about the view either, right on the sand. Service was fine, nothing fancy but decent. Prices felt fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The chicken souvlaki was good and the portion was decent for the price. We stopped by after Stavros beach, nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

Decent bougatsa spot in Chania. Pastry was properly crisp and the cheese filling not too heavy. You add your own sugar and cinnamon. Locals were there, which says enough.

Booked a rooftop table for sunset—the view did not disappoint. Service was on point, food solid. Just get a reservation early, it fills up fast.

The wine list surprised me—good local picks that paired nicely with the lamb. Food came out fast, portions were solid. Nothing fancy, but a dependable spot in Chania.

Lovely spot right by the beach. Coffee was good and prices fair. Staff made us feel welcome without hovering. Just wish we had more time to sit around.

The shrimp pasta was pretty good—fresh pasta made to order, lots of sauce options. Prices felt fair for what you get. Decent spot.

The cheese pie here was so flaky and buttery, exactly what I needed after wandering the old town. Cozy spot too, free wifi is a bonus if you wanna sit for a while.

Came in pretty late and they still treated us well. Fish soup and calamari were on point. That free orange dessert at the end was a nice surprise 🍊

The Green Eye Salad was the move. Fresh greens, fruit, nuts, crispy pita — all worked. Mountain tea with baklava on the side, solid way to end. Place was a bit quiet for my taste but whatever. Good spot if you're in the area.

The staff here were so easygoing, made us laugh a few times. They even set up a free taxi from our hotel and threw in some drinks and dessert on the house. Honestly that alone made the whole visit feel special. Didn’t expect that kind of attention. Really nice touch.

The garlic bread with cheese was a solid starter, but the bruschetta? Honestly the best I’ve had. Portions are big and the price felt fair for what you get. Wish I had room for dessert, but I was too full. Would come back just for that bruschetta again.

The chocolate soufflé with ice cream was honestly the best thing I ate on the whole trip. They even brought out free raki and melon at the end, which I wasn’t expecting. Portion size was decent for the price, especially for a tourist spot. Just wish the soufflé came out a bit hotter, but I’d still order it again.

We stopped by a few times and the lamb chops were consistently good. The staff even remembered us, which was a nice touch.

Big portions and the price was fair for being right by the sea. View did most of the work honestly, food was simple but fine.
