Great spot right by the old harbor, you can see the lighthouse from the table. Food was pretty and well done. Staff let us chill and chat without hovering. Perfect for a catch-up with friends. 😊

They asked about allergies before I even ordered, then confirmed again when the food came out. Felt like they actually got it, not just nodding along. I didn't have to worry about cross-contamination once. That alone makes me want to go back. Just wish the place was a bit bigger, felt a little tight.

The owner barely said two words but kept checking if we needed anything. That Sfakian pie though — still warm, honey dripping everywhere. Greek salad was proper too, feta thick and creamy. Place feels like someone's actual home, not a tourist spot. Just wish they had more seating outside.

The Ethiopian espresso here is seriously good—fruity, a little complex, not your usual cup. I grabbed one and just chilled on the terrace for a bit, the view’s a nice bonus. Friend of mine tried the special omelet with local sausage and said it hit the spot. Place has a relaxed vibe, good for hanging out. Just wish they had a bit more seating up top. 😊

The beetroot salad alone is worth coming back for. Went twice just for that dish. Garden cats are a bonus but honestly I barely noticed them.

The lamb chops here are the real deal. Juicy, decent amount of seasoning, cooked properly. That's pretty much all I care about. They brought out some raki at the end, which was fine, but honestly I was still thinking about the meat. Place seems family-run, but I wasn't paying much attention to that. Just order the chops and you're good.

The lamb chops alone are worth the trip. Got a table with a great view and the staff treated us like old friends. Pretty solid spot.

The staka with eggs and potatoes was so good, exactly what I wanted that night. Pretty setting too, and the host knew what to suggest. Would come back with my friends for sure 👍

The Cretan salad alone was basically a meal. Huge plate, tons of feta, and it was like 9 euros. Couldn't finish it all. My friend got the lamb and she said the same thing about the portion. For that price in this area, you really can't complain. Busy place though, we had to wait a bit for a table.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a glass of their house white—went down easy with the grilled octopus. Salad had that sweet-sour dressing, really woke up the palate. Place was packed even off-season, which says something. They threw in a little dessert on the house, nice touch. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Wouldn't mind coming back for that wine alone.

The wood-fired lamb was properly smoky, tender like it should be. Sat in the garden area, felt like a backyard in the mountains. Just wish they'd had more staff on.

We've been coming here for years. The owners remember us every time, which is nice. Food's decent, nothing fancy, but the warmth keeps us coming back.

Been coming here for a while now. The food stays fresh every single time, that's why I keep coming back. Tried to change up my order once, language barrier made it a bit tricky, but they sorted it out fast. Dinner was solid, no complaints. Just wish they had a few more seats, gets busy around 8.

Best gyros we found around Agia Marina. Pork pita was packed with juicy meat and fresh tzatziki. Came back five times during our stay 😅

Stopped by for lunch after reading about it. The fava was really good, creamy and full of flavor. Stuffed vine leaves were solid too, not like the usual ones you get everywhere. Sitting outside under the trees was nice, staff knew what they were doing. A bit different from the standard taverna menu around Chania, which is refreshing.

The Sunday roast lamb was fork-tender, really good. Portions are generous too. Service was fine, not overbearing. Decent spot for a relaxed meal.

Came for the sunset, ended up staying for the moussaka—best I had in Greece. They even threw in some raki and dessert at the end. Nice touch.

Stopped here after a walk by the harbour and honestly the grilled octopus was the move. Super tender, not chewy at all. The stuffed calamari was pretty great too. Service felt really genuine, like they actually wanted you to enjoy the food. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that’s probably a good sign. Would come back for that octopus again 🐙

Came here twice on our trip. Salmon was cooked right, braised beef was tender. Staff remembered us the second time, which was nice. Place fills up fast so book a table before you go. Solid spot for a proper meal without the fuss.

The tzatziki was super garlicky, almost too much for me. But the shrimp risotto and sea bass were spot on, arrived hot and fresh. Complimentary dessert at the end was a nice touch. 😋

Lamb was properly falling apart. Kleftiko came out a bit salty but the meat itself was tender enough that I didn't care. Nice outdoor seating. They threw in some dessert and raki at the end which was a solid touch. Would go back for the lamb alone.

Great spot right on the beach, breakfast sandwich and cappuccino hit the spot. Service was solid.

Loved the lentil soup and stuffed veggies — proper Greek flavors, and the portions were generous for the price. Would come back just for that.

The lamb shank was solid and the portions are generous for the price. Wish they had a better wine list to go with it though, beer felt like the safer bet.

We sat outside in the garden—pretty quiet for a Tuesday. Service was attentive without hovering. I had the grilled octopus, which was decent, maybe slightly overdone on the edges, but the lemon potatoes made up for it. Prices are fair for the area. Fine spot if you want a low-key meal.

Went for the gyros but ended up liking the pastitsio more. That one’s got that baked top, real comforting. Moussaka was decent too, not dry at all. Prices are fair for what you get. Place was a bit busy but we managed. Good spot if you want something homemade without the fuss.

The seafood risotto was the star — creamy, loaded with shrimp and calamari. Moussaka was decent, though I'd skip the milkshake next time, way too sweet for my taste. A glass of crisp white wine would've paired better with the risotto honestly. Sat by the window, watched the sunset over the water. Nice spot for a relaxed evening.

The lamb was properly slow-cooked, fell apart with a fork. Portion size surprised me for the price—honestly thought they'd give less. Place is a bit out of the way but that's fine, no tourist markup. Just wish they had more seating inside, we waited a few minutes. Still, for what you pay, you get a solid meal.

The boureki here is the real deal. Had the rabbit too, both plates were solid. Lunch for two came to €33, which felt fair for what you got. Sat outside in the alley, but honestly I was too busy eating to care much about the setting.

The waffles with fresh ice cream were a hit—every flavor we tried was spot on. I’m picky about freshness, and the fruit on top actually tasted like it was just cut. Slightly sweet for me, but the texture was perfect. Would come back just for that.
