The shrimp spaghetti was really good, pasta cooked just right and plenty of shrimp in it. Beef tartare came with decent seasoning too. Place itself is clean and modern, easy to find. Only thing I'd say is the lemonade was way too sweet for my taste, could barely finish it. For what you get, the price felt fair enough though.

The pulled pork chips were the reason I stopped here, and honestly they didn’t disappoint. Sitting on that shady terrace in Városliget felt pretty good for a quick bite. Not a fancy place, but it doesn’t need to be. Just decent food and a chill spot to hang for a bit.

The duck was done right, not dry at all, and the portion honestly surprised me. Even the "bird's milk" dessert came in this massive bowl, like enough for two. For what we paid, I left properly full. Just wish I'd had room for more of it.

The curry soup and dumplings were spot on. I also tried the curry with rice and honestly it held up well, even compared to what I've had in Southeast Asia. The chocolate dessert reminded me a bit of Royce nama chocolate from Japan. Service was friendly enough. Only thing is the seating felt a little cramped, but I'd still come back for that soup.

The French onion soup was the highlight — rich and cheesy, exactly what I needed. Cheese fondue was solid too, though I wish there was more bread.

Been here a few times now, and the goulash never disappoints. It's a bit outside the center, but the tram ride is easy. Staff always make you feel welcome.

Food's decent for the price, but it's basically fast-casual—order at the counter and they bring it over. Fine for a quick bite.

Came for a quick bite, got the classic dishes. Place feels stuck in the '80s, which is actually the charm. Coat service still there. Quiet, no rush. Just what I needed.

The chef runs this place almost solo, you can tell. Each sushi piece felt carefully handled, the shiitake was nicely sweet. They had a decent beer choice too. Just book ahead, he needs to know how much fish to get. Place is tiny, but that's part of it.

The salmon roll was the standout—fresh, clean flavor. Miso soup hit the spot too. Pricey for lunch, but the fish quality makes up for it.

The bean goulash was decent—hearty and filling. The "hell stew" had a real kick to it, so watch out if you're not into spicy food. Pretty good stop for a casual meal.

Stopped by for a quick bite and the gyros really hit the spot. Probably the closest to authentic I've had around here. Service was no-nonsense, just straight to the point. Place is pretty basic, nothing fancy, but you're not there for the decor. Just wish they had a bit more seating, it was a little cramped. Still, a solid choice if you're in the mood for something simple and tasty.

Stopped in for a light bite since it was right in my hotel. The beef goulash was hearty, just what I needed on a cooler evening. Salad on the side was fresh enough. Had a glass of Tokaji with it—still not sure that wine pairs well with goulash, but the server was happy to pour me a taste first. Attentive without hovering.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly, the speed was the best part. Food came out in minutes, no messing around. Had the hummus shakshuka—rich, warm, proper comfort food. Staff were nice too, didn’t have to wait for anything. Solid spot if you’re in a hurry and want something decent.

Came here for the pizza and honestly it hit the spot. Crust was just the right amount of chewy. Music was a bit loud for my taste but it gave the place energy. They forgot my extra garlic though, kinda annoying. Also heads up, cash only.

Nice spot in the neighborhood, brunch was lovely. Service was friendly and attentive. A bit pricey but worth it.

Decent spot for a proper meal. Around 23-25 EUR per person, which felt fair for what you get. It does get crowded though, so better to book a table in advance. Food was pretty good, nothing fancy but solid. I'd probably go back if I'm in the area again.

The atrium is really lovely, and the classical trio that evening added a nice touch. I focused on the grilled salmon—fresh, flaky, not overdressed. The manager checked in on us, which felt genuine. Only small thing: my side salad came a bit overdressed, but the fish itself was spot on. I’d come back for that.

Cheap lunch buffet with dessert included. Place is full of local art and has a reading corner, kinda cool. Food was decent for the price.

Came here for a quick lunch while wandering around the area. The view from the terrace is really something, you can see pretty far over the rooftops. Had a glass of local wine and it was decent, nothing fancy but fine. Food was okay, I wouldn't say it blew me away, but the setting makes up for it. Service was friendly enough. Maybe a bit overpriced for what you get, but the atmosphere is the main draw.

The chicken soup was the real deal, tasted like something my wife would make at home. That alone made the visit worth it. Place has a relaxed vibe, staff were polite enough. Rest of the food was okay, nothing fancy but decent. I'd come back just for that soup, honestly.

Tried two mains and three soups, everything was solid. Portions are massive, definitely come hungry. Prices run a bit high for the area, but honestly worth it for the quality.

The mushroom soup was the highlight for me—really rich, the kind you want on a cold day. Chicken paprikash was solid too, creamy and well-seasoned. Place sits right on the square, so you get a nice view while eating. Only thing is it got a bit busy around noon, but that’s fine. I’d pop back for that soup again.

Six glasses of Hungarian wine for under 30 euros — that's a solid deal. Each pour was a nice little discovery, nothing felt like a filler. Definitely a spot I'd hit again for a casual wine evening.

Stopped by for dinner on a weekday. Place has a warm vibe, staff were friendly enough. Went for the tomahawk steak — decent size, cooked properly. Price felt fair for what you got. Pizza on the next table looked good too. Pretty solid choice if you're in the area. Maybe slightly busy around 7 but nothing crazy.

The goulash soup was really good, and the price for a full meal with wine felt fair. Comfortable seating too, which I always appreciate.

The medieval decor is really something—staff in costumes, torches everywhere. We came for a casual hangout and ended up loving the venison soup and mixed meats. Service was friendly too. Would come back with more friends.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its spectacular flavors and attentive service. The waiters were friendly and helpful, enhancing our dining experience.

Been coming here for years. Food's always solid, staff remembers you. Place looks a bit dated, but honestly that's part of the vibe. Quick in and out at lunch, no fuss. Just wish they'd speed up the line a bit when it gets busy. Still, good spot for a fast bite.

The grilled trout with the rustic potatoes was fresh, really nice change from the usual fries. Cottage cheese cake was light too. Staff friendly, not a tourist trap at all.
