The unagi bento was solid - plenty of sides, decent portion for the price. Fish was fresh, sauce not too sweet. Place was busy at lunch but I got my food quick enough. Nothing fancy but does the job if you want a proper Japanese fix without breaking the bank.

Solid spot by St. Stephen's Basilica. Goulash in bread was good, staff actually showed photos to help us pick. Cozy enough inside.

Tried the chicken breast with peaches and cheese—creative, but a bit too sweet for me. The house Blaufränkisch was solid.

Booked ahead and grabbed an outside table. The grilled pork belly was spot on, crispy skin and all. Service kept it chill, no hovering. Solid spot if you're after a relaxed bite.

Stopped by for lunch last week. Menu's got plenty of options, that's for sure. We grabbed a few things and everything came out tasting decent. Staff tried their best with us even though our Hungarian isn't great. Sat outside with the dog, which was nice. Prices are fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The Vendetta burger was solid. Meat tasted fresh, bun held up well. Duck burger was good too but the Vendetta's the one I'd order again.

Decent spot for a cappuccino after a hike. Comfy seating, dog-friendly, and we ended up staying longer than planned. Service was a bit uneven, but the relaxed vibe made up for it.

Been coming here for ages and honestly the consistency is what gets me. Mate behind the counter already knows my order before I even say it 😄 that little personal touch makes it feel less like a restaurant and more like my usual hangout. Not fancy or anything but that’s kinda the charm.

Breakfast was decent, but service dragged a bit. The basilica view made up for it, and the manager handled the hair issue fairly.

The vegan cappuccino was solid, and that lava cake hit the spot. 🍷 Wish they had one more interesting wine by the glass, though.

The Hellfire burger definitely lives up to its name. Staff let us try the sauce first, which I appreciated. They kept the water and milk coming, too.

Stopped by for a coffee and a pastry on the terrace. The place is small but cozy, and the staff were friendly enough. Pastry was pretty good, flaky and fresh. Took a bit longer to get served since it was busy, but fine for a lazy afternoon. Decent spot if you're in the area.

The fries were really crispy, exactly how I like them. Chicken main was a bit plain though, could’ve used more seasoning. Nice relaxed vibe inside, staff friendly enough. Fine for a quick casual bite if you’re in the area.

The mezze spread really stood out—labneh with pistachio and that roasted eggplant dip were the ones I kept going back to. Everything tasted fresh, nothing felt heavy or overly oily. The seating area was comfortable enough to linger a bit longer than planned. Just wish the bread refills came around a little faster, but it didn't ruin the meal.

Right by the Basilica, so the location's perfect. Food was decent but honestly a bit pricey for what you get. Staff were nice enough though.

Decent spot for a cheap Italian fix in Budapest. Two pastas, a pizza, a beer and two cokes, about €18 total. Just a heads up, the aglio e olio was properly spicy.

The broth is properly rich, you can tell they simmer it for hours. Spring rolls were solid too. Place is tiny though, felt a bit cramped. Portion was decent for the price.

Gluten-free pizza that actually tastes like pizza — didn’t think I’d find that here. Crust was decent, not cardboardy. Staff were nice about explaining what was safe. Place is small and a bit cramped, but I didn’t really mind. Just wish they had more topping options.

Came here around 8pm and it wasn't too crowded, which was nice. Buffet had a solid variety, food was decent for what it is. Staff spoke good English and were actually helpful. Left full, no complaints. Maybe not mind-blowing, but does the job if you're hungry and want options.

The staff let us take our time deciding and answered all my questions about the menu. Really appreciated that they didn't rush us.

The chicken schnitzel and duck were spot on. Plates looked great too. Honestly surprised by the bill at the end, pretty fair for what you get.

Cooking our own food with the tablet instructions was kinda fun. Place got busy and service was a bit slow, but the DIY thing made it worth it.

The fish dish really stood out — cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Service was solid too. Just found it a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still come back for that fish.

The 1600s-themed dining room is a fun touch — felt like stepping into a different era for a bit. They pour a proper cold beer, which I appreciated. Food was solid, service fine. Maybe not somewhere I'd go every week, but it's a nice spot to switch things up.

The staff were so kind and patient with our tired kids. The air-conditioned room felt like heaven after the heat outside.

The ribs were properly cooked, fell off the bone nicely. Place looks recently renovated, staff friendly enough. Just had to wait a while for the food to come out.

The grilled fish was so fresh, really flaky and light. I got the one with lemon butter and it just worked. Service was friendly too, though we waited a bit longer than I expected for the table. Not mad about it though, the food made up for it.
