Stopped by for a late lunch. Gluten-free pizza was decent, crust held up better than most places. Staff checked in about the dietary thing without making a fuss. Portion was big enough that I couldn't finish. Lemonade was nice and tart. Place has a homely vibe, nothing fancy. Fine for a casual bite.

Goulash soup was decent, big bowl for the money. Place sits right in the tourist zone but prices didn't feel crazy. Nothing fancy, just solid Hungarian food.

The broth soup here is massive, honestly could feed two or three people. I got the paprika sauce dish and it was the highlight. Place sits a bit outside the center, but the riverside setting makes it feel super calm. Interior's got that old-school Hungarian charm, nothing fancy but comfortable. Just wish the service was a touch quicker, we waited a while between courses.

The owner remembered us from last time, which was nice. Food still tastes homemade, like someone's grandma actually cooked it. Place is a bit tucked away though, easy to walk past if you're not looking.

Nice pizza and the place looks great inside. Right in the center, easy to find. Staff was friendly too. That Italy map made of city names on the wall is a cool touch.

Service was quick, burgers were fine—classic BK. What got me was how clean the place was. Not what I expect from a fast food stop, honestly. Sat near the window and it just felt... calmer than usual. Good for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a quick bite, staff were friendly and spoke English, that helped a lot. Pizza was solid, dough nice and thin. Prices felt fair for what you get. Place was a bit busy but whatever. Good spot if you're nearby.

Pasta’s homemade, you can tell. Carbonara was solid—fresh eggs, real flavor. Aubergine pizza had a nice chewy base too. Cozy little place, feels like a proper trattoria. Nothing fancy, just good food. Would eat here again if I’m in the area.

The pork tenderloin with truffle mashed potatoes was the reason I picked this place, and it didn't disappoint. The meat was cooked just right, and the truffle aroma in the mash was subtle but present. I had a glass of Hungarian red with it, which worked nicely. Room was a bit warm, but the food made up for it.

The fruit soup and fish soup were both really good—fresh, authentic flavors. Service was friendly enough, and the place is clean with a nice modern look. I sat outside, which was pleasant, though the chairs could be a bit more comfortable for a longer meal. Still, a solid spot if you want real Hungarian food without fuss.

Stumbled on this place between classes and honestly it’s a solid find. Cozy inside, staff actually smile at you. Got a coffee and just chilled for a bit, no rush to leave. Wish I’d found it sooner.

The portions were huge, honestly. We ordered a few local dishes and couldn't finish half of it. Prices felt fair for what you get, especially this close to the city center. Just a heads up, it gets busy around dinner time, so you might wait a bit. But for a hearty meal, it did the job.

Came on a local's tip and the fish soup really stood out. Portions are huge, almost too big. Good value for what you get. Would come back next time.

The halászlé was really good, big portions for the price too. Place gets busy so service slows down a bit, but that's expected. Solid local spot.

The passion fruit lemonade was so good, honestly the best I had in Hungary. Really refreshing on a hot day. The rest of the meal was fine, nothing fancy but decent.

Stopped by for a quick drink, ended up staying way longer than planned. That courtyard is something else — nice vibe, decent music. Service was quick too, no waiting around. Good spot if you wanna chill for a bit without it being a whole thing.

Chimney cake was solid. Crispy outside, not too sweet. Made right there over charcoal. Good for a quick walk-around snack.

Great pizza and pasta spot just outside Budapest. Prices are really fair for the quality. Staff were friendly too. The river view is a nice touch while you eat.

Stopped by for lunch — the mushroom soup was spot on. Service was quick and polite. Prices felt fair for what you get. Solid spot if you're in Eger.

Been coming here for a while now. The beer list stays solid—La Chouffe is always a safe bet. Classic brasserie vibe inside, nothing fancy but it works.

The fisherman’s soup was really good, rich and spicy the way I like it. Service was fast too, no complaints there. Sat outside and the weather held up, so that was a bonus. Place gets a bit busy around noon, but nothing unbearable. Solid stop if you’re in the area and want something simple.

Nice spot right by the Town Hall, we sat outside. The food was fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. 👍

The duck breast was cooked properly, nice pink in the middle. The skin could've been crispier but the meat itself was tender. That cherry sauce worked well with it. I'd come back just for that dish. The goulash was decent too, though I've had better.

Came here for a wedding last month. The place has that old-school Hungarian feel, lots of wood and folk stuff on the walls. Food was proper home-style, the stuffed cabbage was the highlight. Service kept up fine even with a big group. Maybe a bit out of the way if you're not driving, but that's part of the charm. Solid spot.

The goulash soup had great flavor, though the beef was a bit chewy. Tapas plate was a good choice too. Nice spot for a relaxed meal.

Dropped in for a quick lunch. Got the daily special, came out fast, no waiting around. 15€ for a solid meal in the center, that's fair. Portion was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Good spot if you need to eat and get on with your day.
