The sourdough bread here is honestly some of the best I’ve had—top three for sure. The wine pairing was decent for what you pay. Service was friendly, and I didn’t feel rushed at all. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but I’d still come back for that bread alone.

We love Indian food. We live in Budapest, and we are regulars in this reastaurant. The Indian kitchen staff guarantees the inimitable quality of the food. Service is quick, attentive and polite. The manager - looks like Sanjay Dutt, the Indian movie star - speaks good Hungarian, and pays particular attention to every patron.

The mixed waffle dessert is still as good as ever. I've been coming for years and the quality hasn't dropped. The queue gets long, but for that price, it's fine.

The interior really caught my eye — felt like stepping into a proper old-school place, not some generic modern setup. Desserts were the standout for me, especially the one with caramel. Staff handled everything fine, nothing to complain about. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, the chairs got a little hard after a while.

The duck with veggies and the salad were honestly the best thing I ate all trip. Chocolate mousse for dessert was a nice finish too.

The staff set up a high chair and even brought little cutlery for our baby without us asking. Really nice touch. Food was solid too.

Stopped here for lunch and grabbed a table outside. The view over the lake is really something. Had the goulash and it was solid, proper paprika kick. Waitress knew the menu well and switched to English without skipping a beat. Only thing, took a bit to get the bill. Still, decent spot.

The pizza here is solid, and the chef's specials are worth checking out. I sat in the garden area, which was a nice break from the usual indoor setup. Service was friendly but a bit slow during the rush. Prices are fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the neighborhood again.

The duck leg with red cabbage was the highlight for me—simple but really well done. Cozy spot, the kind of place where you can just hang out with friends for a while. Staff were friendly too, didn’t rush us at all. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

The staff handled a garlic allergy in our group without any fuss, adjusting dishes easily. The beef pörkölt was solid, and the AC inside made it bearable on a hot day. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Stumbled into this place while wandering around and ended up staying way longer than planned. The baklava was still warm, which I didn't expect. Turkish coffee had that nice thick foam on top. Interior is really cozy with all the traditional touches. Only thing is it got a bit busy around noon, but that's probably a good sign.

The truffle and wild mushroom slice really stood out. That crust had the right chew, slightly charred at the edges. Solid Neapolitan style, no complaints about the toppings either. Just wish the slice was a bit bigger, honestly. Left still thinking about that truffle taste though.

Gluten-free options were a nice find. Had a glass of local red with the meal, paired better than expected. Vintage decor gives it character. Worth stopping by if you're in Sopron.

The terrace really is something else. I went for the grilled salmon and it was fresh, cooked just right. You're paying extra for the view, that's for sure. Service was nice but a bit slow when it got busy. I'd come back for the scenery alone, maybe just for a drink next time.

The beef soup here is genuinely the best I’ve had in a long time. They even made a gluten-free version for our friend without fuss. Portions are big, so come hungry. Just a heads-up, it’s about a 15-minute walk from the Basilica.

The pizza here is huge—one pie honestly could last me two meals. Price felt fair for what you get, especially if you show up starving. I grabbed a margherita and it hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but the portion-to-price ratio is hard to beat around here.

The apple strudel was really good — flaky and not too sweet. Place itself is small and cozy, felt like a family kitchen. Just wish they had more seating, we had to wait a bit.

The Zsolnay porcelain details are really nice, gives the place a classy feel. Had a coffee and cake, both were solid. Staff friendly enough.

The cappuccino was solid and that carrot cake? Probably the best around here. Quiet enough to get some work done, staff spoke English and were friendly.

Stumbled on this little place near Buda Castle and honestly the mint tea is the reason I’d go back 😅 Zsolt was super nice, made us feel looked after without hovering. Prices are fair for the area. We sat outside under the umbrellas and it was chill, not too crowded. Only thing—wish they had more dessert options. But yeah, good spot if you’re wandering around the castle with friends.

The schnitzel was massive, seriously. BBQ ribs were the highlight though. Terrace was packed but the staff still managed to keep up. Prices felt a bit steep for what it is, but you get a lot on the plate. Fine for a casual catch-up, nothing fancy.

The rooftop bar offers stunning views of the Basilica, making it a perfect spot for a romantic evening. The ambiance is elegant and the cocktails are delicious!

Stopped by for a late lunch, got the mixed grill plate. Meat was juicy, the lentil soup had a nice kick. Staff let me sit around way after I finished, no rush. Sunday opening saved me, most places nearby were shut. Decent spot if you're in the area and hungry.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Beers are fairly priced, which is rare around here. Food menu is small but what we had was fresh enough. Place gets crowded fast though, so better to come early. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

Hearty local dishes, decent portions for the price. The folk show was a nice touch, though it got a bit loud mid-meal. Fine spot if you want something authentic without tourist pricing.

The hummus here is always fresh, never disappoints. Staff are friendly too. I stop by when I need something quick and filling. Portion size is decent for the price. Gets busy around noon, but the line moves fast. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Tried the café latte and pistachio gelato here — the pistachio one was really something, creamy but not too sweet. Place stays tidy even when it’s packed, which I appreciated. Slightly pricey for the size, but I’d grab another scoop next time I’m around.
