Beer was cold, that's what matters. Food's just frozen pizza and sausages, nothing special. Fine if you need something in your stomach.

The chicken souvlaki pita hit the spot. Meat was juicy, not dry at all, and the salad inside tasted fresh. Portion size felt right for the price. Place was busy but my order came out fast. Solid choice if you're grabbing something quick to eat by the river.

Great happy hour deal—two cocktails for the price of one. The guava margarita was refreshing and the tacos hit the spot. Plenty of seating too, which I appreciated.

The veal paprikash was the reason I came here. Rich sauce, creamy texture, meat fell apart easy. That’s what I wanted. Beer list had a few decent picks too. Didn’t pay much attention to the room or the staff. Just ate. Portion was fair for the price. I’d order the same thing again next time.

Cozy spot, and they let my dog hang out too which is always a win. Coffee was solid, and I kept staring at the handmade ceramic stuff on the walls. Service felt genuine, not forced. Only thing is it got a bit cramped when more people came in, but that’s kinda expected in a place this size.

Second time here and the lighting is still so warm and cozy. Service was quick and friendly. Portions are a bit small for me, but the flavors made up for it.

The spicy tuna roll really stood out—fish was fresh, nice texture. Geri hooked us up with solid recommendations, kept checking in without hovering. Place had a good buzz even on a Tuesday night. Only thing, tables are a bit close together, but that's kinda normal for this spot. Would come back for that roll.

Came for a quick lunch, stayed way longer than I meant to. The server just let us take our time, no rush at all. Food was good enough that I dragged my friend back the next night just for drinks. That kind of place you don't forget easily.

The duck confit was spot on — crispy outside, tender inside. Price was fair for what you get. Just wish they had more sauce.

Stopped by for a glass after work—the selection by the glass is seriously huge, which I appreciated. Staff knew their stuff when I asked for something dry. Prices are a bit steep though, and the place feels more like a tasting room than somewhere to hang out. Still, the pour was solid, so I didn't mind paying that much this once.

Stopped here after checking out St. Stephen's—super close, which was handy. Got the goulash and it hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but solid and cheap. Felt like a real local spot, not a tourist trap. Service was friendly too. Would pop back in if I'm in the area again.

I had an amazing experience at this bar! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, perfect for a night out. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their drinks.

The beef goulash soup was hearty, lots of paprika and tender meat. Vegetable stew felt fresh, not too heavy. But honestly, the Gundel pancake with walnut and chocolate sauce stole it for me. Just the right sweetness, not overly rich. I'd go back just for that dessert. Maybe skip the main course next time.

This restaurant offers a stunning view of the city, especially from the igloos, which are both intimate and well-heated.

Been coming here for years for late-night slices. Pizza's consistently solid. Cards accepted, which helps. 🍕

Stopped by after a quick walk through Hunyadi Piac. The place has that proper market-bar vibe, nothing fancy. Had a Dreher Bak, it was crisp and well kept. Prices have crept up a little, but still okay for the neighborhood. Pilsner Urquell on tap looked good too.

The meat platter for two was honestly enough for three people. We left full and happy. Service was friendly too, no complaints at all.

The tourist menu was solid—18 euros for goulash, paprikash, and dessert, right by the Christmas market. Marcelo and Kriszta took good care of us. Cozy little place.

The lamb here is still the best I’ve had in the city—falls right off the bone. Waiter even spoke some Dutch with us, that was a nice touch.

The weekend DJ and lights are a nice touch, but the line to get in moved pretty slowly. Once we were inside, the vibe was fun and the staff kept things organized.

The staff were really warm and welcoming, made me feel comfortable right away. They had local DJs playing that night, decent music without being too loud to talk over. I just grabbed a drink and relaxed. Nice spot if you want a low-key evening in Budapest without any fuss.

Came here around midnight when everything else was shut. Got the mixed kebab plate — meat was properly tender, not dry at all. The garlic sauce had a nice kick to it. Staff didn't rush me even though I was the last one there. Solid choice if you're wandering around late and hungry.

The film lineup here is nicely curated — caught a Hungarian classic that I’d never seen on the big screen before. A solid pick if you’re tired of the usual blockbusters.

The steak was cooked just right, really juicy. The staff knew their Belgian beers and helped me pick one that matched nicely. Place had a good buzz, not too loud. Only thing, the sides were a bit basic. But the meat itself was fresh, that's what mattered to me. I'd go back for that steak.

Lunch set’s a solid deal — beef pad thai, spring rolls, grapes, lemonade, all for a fair price. Portions are big, I couldn’t finish mine. Service was quick too, no waiting around. Place was a bit warm inside but whatever. Fine if you’re hungry and nearby.

The food was decent and the portions were plenty big. Had the somlói galuska to finish, that was a good call. Only thing is the main road outside gets pretty busy during the day, so it's not exactly quiet. But for a solid meal without fuss, it does the job.

Been coming here for a while now. Pizza's still decent and the price hasn't crept up too much, which I appreciate. Got a margherita last time, filling enough for the money. Staff remember me, that's always a plus. Place gets a bit busy on weekends, but that's on me for showing up late. Solid spot if you're in the area.

We came here for a work dinner, not a big group but enough to fill a corner of the terrace. The staff handled it fine, no fuss. Food was pretty good, the grilled fish was decent, though the sides were a bit plain. Terrace is the main draw, really. Nice spot if you want a relaxed evening without too much noise.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Gluten-free pizza was decent, crust held up better than most places. Staff checked in about the dietary thing without making a fuss. Portion was big enough that I couldn't finish. Lemonade was nice and tart. Place has a homely vibe, nothing fancy. Fine for a casual bite.
