First time trying their Abekawa mochi with matcha. The matcha flavor was just right, not too bitter. Really liked it!

The upstairs area is so much more spacious than it looks from outside. I love the view of the main street from up here. Perfect for just sitting with a coffee and watching the world go by.

The set course meals provide excellent value for their quality, featuring generous portions that are both satisfying and beautifully presented.

A solid neighborhood spot. The curry is always exactly what I expect - warm and comforting. Perfect for catching up with a friend when you just want something familiar and easy.

The food was spot on, especially the grilled mackerel. But the sake list felt a bit steep for what you get. Ordered one carafe and that was enough for me.

The tonkotsu-shoyu ramen was just what I needed on a rainy day. The pork was so tender. The booth seats were really comfortable, which made the whole meal feel very relaxing.

The soy sauce broth was light, and the noodles had a nice chew. I got extra veggies, which made it feel a bit more wholesome for a solo lunch.

The sushi here is solid, especially for the price. The chef's friendly even though he only speaks Japanese. I liked the tuna and the salmon was fresh. Good spot for a quick lunch.

The sardine pizza was a nice surprise. Thin crust, fresh sardines, not fishy at all. The avocado shrimp tartar was good too, creamy and light. A solid modern take on izakaya classics.

The anmitsu was pretty good, not too sweet. I liked the soy milk ice cream on top. A soothing way to end a meal, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The Matsusaka beef lunch set is good value. The meat quality is solid, even the fat has a sweet flavor.

The service was exceptional, with the staff being very pleasant and attentive, contributing to a luxurious atmosphere during our meal.

Great spot for a quick bite. The owner makes the cocktails himself, and they're surprisingly affordable.

The lotus root pizza was a nice surprise. Went well with a crisp white wine. Garlic edamame also good. Grilled items were fine, but the drink pairing was the highlight for me. A bit pricey on the wine list though.

The counter seats are so comfortable, perfect for solo dining. Watching the chef grill the eel right there was really nice.

I tried the Coquille Roll, a creamy croquette wrapped in pork and fried. It was a unique and tasty side. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed meal.

The kaisendon was fresh, good portion for the price. Their English menu is handy. I had a crisp white wine with it, which cut through the richness nicely. A solid choice for a seafood fix.

The tonkatsu set was solid, but the real star was the crisp lager they suggested. It cut through the richness perfectly. 🍺

Been here a few times. The seafood's always fresh, like you'd want in Kanazawa. Tried a couple of their small plates last night. The grilled fish was simple but good. Sake list is decent.

We got seated super fast even on a busy night! The staff was really on it, and we were grilling our own meat in minutes. Perfect for catching up with friends without a long wait. 😊

Stumbled upon this place and tried local Kanazawa dishes. The menu with photos online was super helpful for ordering.

Came here for a lazy afternoon tea. The three-tiered set was fun to explore—loved the little sandwiches, and the French toast on the side was a total highlight, so fluffy! ☕️ A really chill spot to unwind.

A long-standing spot, and the owner’s dedication to keeping the flavor consistent is impressive.

Came here with the family. Portions are huge, prices are fair. Everyone got full without breaking the bank. Good for a casual group meal.

A very peaceful spot on a lovely street. The tables are nicely spaced, which I really appreciated. It made for a relaxed and comfortable lunch. The service was polite and unintrusive.

The curry udon here is a must-order. The noodles have a perfect, chewy texture that I really enjoyed. The broth is rich and full of flavor, not too heavy. It's easy to see why it's so popular.

A nice spot in the Higashi Chaya District. I really liked the part where you smell the three roasted teas before picking one.

Loved the vibe here! The place looks so chic but still feels laid-back. We stayed for ages just chatting and never felt rushed. Perfect for a long catch-up with friends.
