Pricey for Kanazawa, but the snow crab and Kaga veg tempura were so fresh and well-made. You can taste the quality in every bite. For that level, the cost felt fair.

The Hanton rice with fried shrimp was a nice local find. The ketchup base was surprisingly light, and it paired well with a crisp local beer.

The Kaga Bancha tea was nice, served in a little iron pot. Flavor was decent. Had the seasonal cherry blossom cheesecake with it, which was moist and not overly sweet. A pretty good pairing.

The Ageha Gozen set is 1800 yen. The fatty tuna just melts. You get to pick your seafood bun flavor, which is a nice little touch.

Been coming here for years. Their European-style curry is the reason. It’s got this gentle spice, never too much. Just the right flavor every single time. That’s what keeps me coming back.

The kurumafu was pretty good. It's a local specialty and had a nice chewy texture, soaked up the broth well. A decent choice.

The steamed sushi here is something else! The texture is so different from regular sushi, really soft and warm. Definitely the star of their Hokkaido menu.

The owner was so kind to help us choose. It's a cozy spot that feels like a neighborhood favorite.

Service was really on point. They explained each dish without rushing, even when the place got busy. That kind of attention makes a difference.

The dishes are lightly seasoned, so you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Perfect for a relaxed chat with friends.

Great spot for a quick bite near the station. Counter seating is perfect for solo lunch. Ordered the grilled chicken skewers. Came out fast and hot. Portion was decent for the price. Atmosphere is chill, not too loud. Good for a 30-minute break.

Wine list is nice but a bit pricey. Kitchen is small so food takes a while, but the pizza comes out faster. Good for a quick bite.

We tried a few local dishes beyond the oden. The grilled fish was pretty good. Staff suggestions were helpful. A solid meal overall.

Service was efficient and responsive. Staff checked in at the right times without being intrusive. Orders came out quickly, even during the lunch rush. Good for a business meeting where timing matters.

Been coming here for years, and the quiet weekday afternoons are still my favorite. Just a pot of tea and some wagashi. It's the one place where I can actually slow down and have a proper conversation.

Walked in on a Friday and got a table upstairs. The staff was helpful, English was fine. We tried a few small plates with a bottle of sake. The sake was a good call, really complemented the food.

The grilled blackthroat seaperch was the star, cooked just right. They even packed the leftover sea urchin rice into cute onigiri for me to take home. Nice touch.

Impressive international cheese and cigar selection. The whiskey and spirits range is also very good.

The soft serve with gold leaf is good. The ice cream base uses Silkie chicken eggs, giving it a really interesting flavor.

The sea urchin was the highlight. No fishy taste, just a really rich, creamy texture. The grilled blackthroat seaperch was also huge and perfectly fatty. That's what I come here for.

The fries here are a real treat. They're always perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. I find myself ordering them every time. The staff is friendly and the seating is comfortable, which makes for a relaxed meal.

A nice, quiet spot for lunch. The service was quick and pleasant, which I really appreciate. It does get busy around noon, but tables turn over quickly. I was seated comfortably without a wait.

The pork okonomiyaki was quite nice, but the counter stools were a bit too high for me. I found myself shifting to get comfortable. The squid one was tasty too, though I think I liked the beef a little more.
