Huangpu Ancient Port witnessed the prosperity of Guangzhou "Ancient Maritime Silk Road". According to the record of "History of Huangpu Port" - "The Qing Dynasty abolished Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Fujian Customs in 1757, and retained only Guangdong Customs. Guangzhou became the only foreign trade port. From 1758 to 1837 (80 years), a total of 5107 foreign merchant ships were berthed in the ancient port of Huangpu. 4. Huangpu Ancient Harbour Scenic Area is mainly divided into four functional areas: Memorial Exhibition Area, Ancient Harbour Park Area, Trestle Road Catering Area and Village Square Area. The most worthwhile visits are the "Gothenburg" commemorative sculpture, the archway of the ancient harbour, the First Pass Memorial Hall in Guangdong and Hainan, the ancient harbour wharf, the Humanities and History Museum of Huangpu Village, etc. 5. Huangpu Village (Huangpu Ancient Port) is closely related to Liang Cheng, the father of Tsinghua University.
