The room isn't very big, with a hallway and a sloped ceiling. There's only one window, so it can feel a bit stuffy. **Cleanliness:** The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided. **Facilities:** There's no air conditioning, but a fan is provided. There's also an electric kettle. **Location:** It's quite close to the city gate, not right in the town center, which makes it very quiet at night. Getting into town is easy, and it's suitable for travelers with luggage despite the cobblestone paths. **Service:** The service was good, and breakfast was excellent. You can store your luggage after check-out and continue exploring.

The location is fantastic, and the hotel itself is beautifully designed; I heard it has quite a history. The amenities are excellent, and right outside is a viewpoint overlooking the town. The breakfast was particularly wonderful, with a rich variety of options and a lovely dining environment. The room did have a bit of an older feel, but it was still perfectly fine. The air conditioning was a little noisy, but it didn't really bother us, and the soundproofing was good. Overall, it was a great stay – highly recommended!

we enjoyed our stay here, the property feels homey and quaint and because we got the premium room there was a huge bathroom and sauna. the location turned out to be a real plus away from the crowds yet a short stroll to town, it was also beside a river with great restaurants with very reasonable menus. I highly recommend the Bavernia with the Bernard parasols.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the town entrance. If you're dragging luggage, the path is all gravel and has inclines and declines. Taxis can drive right in and up to the hotel entrance. We checked out and went to the bus station, where the hotel helped us call a large taxi. The hotel has a rather old-fashioned, luxurious feel; the furniture has a vintage quality, making it feel like staying in a medieval villa. I booked the cheapest room type, a loft, which was quite nice for taking photos. I saw other rooms with balconies, and my friend's triple room was very spacious. The breakfast was decent, though the selection wasn't particularly extensive.

Confusing at first, since there are apparently one hotel with two names. The reception is located at the pod hrad hotel. Otherwise everything was excellent.
