I travelled with my dad for a 2 day 1 night trip to Batam. Upon arriving at the Radisson Golf and Convention Center Hotel via Grab, it took about 15 minutes from Batam Center. The reception check in was seamless, and the staff were very polite. However, the lift sensor didn't work very well when pressing the button. The amenities were good, but it would be great to include items such as a comb or cotton buds. This wasn't my first time staying here, but I hope for some upgrades of the bathroom or better cleaning, as noticed some signs of aging. Hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, which was impressive. Additionally, the massage services at the hotel were excellent.

Second time booking the Riani Beachfront.. Place is Showing signs of wear and tear. Nevertheless it's a peaceful and serene place to unwind. Be prepared for insects as the it's as close to nature as it can get. Hotel staffs are warm, welcoming and very approachable. It's not representative of the typical Batam experience (i.e. shopping) but an excellent place for retreat for those who wish to reconnect with themselves. If it helps The city centre is 30 minutes away but it is easy and cheap to book a grab (Back and forth $30 maximum) Breakfast was a delicious array of authentic Indonesian dishes.. But could do with more variety / change of menu on daily basis. Hopefully I could try the sunset BBQ Buffet offer on my next visit.

Super awesome as got kitchen. Very amazing and friendly staff. Breakfast was super yummy! Will definitely come back again. Brought my mum and we had quality time. The hotel is not very far from the beach. Good walking distance after heavy breakfast! You have access to angsana swimming pool and gym too. Worth exploring. Pool has activities like Zumba and foam pool.

We had a lovely trip with the family over holidays in Oct 2024. We were upgraded to a pool villa and used the pool to splash around and have nice family time. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Service is great. The food in the restaurants was good but a bit on the expensive side. Overall an enjoyable trip! :)

The location is not great but Batam is convenient to get grab in 1-2mins time. I like that the surrounding is quiet. The only downside is side for me is that rooms are not very sound proof. I can heard people running about upstairs almost continuously and banging sound in low frequency at certain periods.  Otherwise everything is great as I stayed during off peak period.  With the price and huge size of the room, I think I will give it a go again. Thank you.

To all Harris batam center teams, Thanks for your hard work bringing joy to the guests and enjoying your team spirit. Enjoy your dancing for the guest and the great smile from the front line. Good job for the housekeeper too. We will be back here again. Just for a small feedback I hope your management can look into it. The swimming pool and the ladder is too steep hope can change to wider for the elderly or young children to step on it. Hope can do a step in front of the ladder, elderly or disabled guests to step down from the platform of the swimming pool. The toilet most of the shower head needs to upgrade. We will inform our friends and family come over here to enjoy it. We will back here again .

Four Points did it again!! We're always satisfied with their services and again here, in Bintan, we're pleased too. In fact, we've decided that if we were to go to Bintan again, we'd choose Four Points! The hotel is very clean and housekeeping is on point. One person that needs a shout out is none other than Bahar. He did a marvellous job cleaning our room. To make it sweeter, he adds notes on our bed with a beautiful crafted towel! Thumbs up to Bahar. In addition, bfast spread was commendable with a daily change of spread. Hence our 4 days there was delightful with a great start to our morning breakfast! Kudos to the chef for a flavourful menu daily..

YY-n0A Soulful 3D2N Recharge at The Residence Bintan It was exactly what I needed for a soul-refreshing getaway. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and serenity. The surroundings were peaceful, the villa was beautifully maintained, and every corner of the resort felt like a retreat from the noise of everyday life. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive, and the staff went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and cared for. I especially appreciated the little touches — from the thoughtful turn-down service to the calming nature of the spa treatments. Whether you’re looking to unwind, reflect, or simply escape, this resort is a perfect choice for a mindful and relaxing break! Highly recommended for anyone needing a soul-refreshing reset!

GGuest UserFood was good in terms of breakfast but to take note the towels has blood stains on them. Also the service of the hotel staff was not as good as they checked me in late 30 mins late despite already being there at 3.30pm. The beds are horrible it gave me pain on my neck and back. Also to note the hotel is relatively small and rooms are small. The location is in the middle of some bazaar and loads of bars cafes and traffic which will be grinded with noise from singers to beeping of horns. My bets are to avoid entirely staying here altogether.

TThomas96My friends and I recently stayed at Nagoya Mansion Hotel and Residence, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walking distance from Nagoya Hill Mall, making it ideal for shopping and dining. The room facilities were average but adequate, and the cleanliness was up to standard. Although the absence of a hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience, the friendly and professional staff more than made up for it. They were very accommodating, even arranging for us to check in early without any additional charges, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. The hotel’s convenient location and excellent service make it highly recommendable to others. With some improvements to the facilities, it would be perfect!

GGuest UserInteresting experience. Beyond the semi outdoor bathroom, the tent room feels just like a hotel room. The service was impeccable. All staff throughout the property was very ready to serve and helpful. Especially towards children. The ”pool” was the only slight downside. As it is sharing the same lagoon for watersports, hence the swim area is not big.

GGuest UserWe brought our 2 teenage kids to stay in a Hillside Villa for 2 nights! The experience is superb with a private pool right at the hall area. All of us enjoyed the bonding time, majority at the outdoor section wheee the pool is. The view is spectacular, and waking up to this view in the morning definitely helps to clear up all the stress accumulated living in a city. Will I be back again? Definitely! Going there is a breeze with well connected transport provided from the ferry terminal to the resort.

MMrSenThis could be a 5* thing, for now it feels more like 4 to 4.5 * for me. Let me explain. First of all, there are many really big upsides for the Nirwana Resort: - The hotel is in a wonderful location. The beach directly in front of the hotel is beautiful, however if you explore a little further, the beach right next (connected to some rentable mini-houses) is also part of the Nirwana area and even cleaner and more inviting for a direct swim. - The room was even nicer than anticipated via the photos. Everything was tastefully designed, clean and room-service did a great job daily. The hotel itself is abut 35 years old, very close to the sea and constantly exposed to salty winds. It's just amazing that they managed to maintain the open-corridors in such a great condition. There's a lot of wooden features (which look really good imho). - The staff is friendly and helpful. You will find plenty of activities if that is your thing. Now to the kinda neutral part: Some of the in-hotel facilities were not available during our stay. For example to get to the gym you had to switch to another building a few hundret meters away. You still get everything you need, so it's not really a complaint - more a thing of convenience but since all the surrounding area is pretty nice I would recommend exploring a bit anyway. The two main negative factors were: - It's a very secluded resort and there is no normal supermarket or anything similar nearby for basic daily needs like water or what-have-you. This means you will need to pay mega-premiums. 1 L of water costs over 100k Rupias or about 7 to 8 USD. A small bottle of coke is about $3.5. Same goes for all other snacks, drinks and foods. They are very overpriced, just because you don't have a choice. Another example: A pizza + a ”gourmet” burger were close to $50. I wouldn't even complain if it was really ”gourmet”. However not even close: You can eat both, it's not terrible but it's very basic, the pizza too dry and kinda small, the burger the most boring I had in years and not great beef at all. Same goes for all the other food we had in the in-house restaurant. It's not bad but every dish feels like something is a bit off or missing or just very basic. Especially for the premium price you pay this seems not right. There are two more restaurants within ~1km walking distance: An indian restaurant. Pricing is on the higher side but more reasonable than the indoor restaurant. Tandoori chicken was over-spiced (not hot just too strong taste with nothing to compliment it) and very dry/boring. The infamous butter chicken was great, though. I would recommend the ”Spicy restaurant” (4 stars) but make sure you get something with sauce. And then there is a seafood restaurant. It's really pricy (especially when compared to seafood in Batam for example) but you get an incredible fresh and well seasoned fish/crab/prawn selection that makes it worth 100% to visit. Also the view is fantastic. I actually would rate this whole experience 5 stars - if you would get the basics (water, coke, some smaller snacks) for a fair price; right now this part feels a bit like a rip-off. Also, local taxi service is a bit over-priced, same goes for activities. I really don't mind spending more, but there needs to be a balance where you don't feel taken advantage of. If you don't care about that, I would fully recommend the stay at Nirwana Hotel.

GGuest UserWe spent 2 nights here for fishing and got a water villa to fish from the balcony. got a few tiny fish but guess the area is too rocky,  the line always got stuck and broken, not so fun fishing from the villa. AC in the room didn't work properly, called maintenance a few times but it didn't resolve, plus point we got a nice sea view from the room and the staff were friendly and helpful.

GGeorg ChristopherThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish. Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner. However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top. In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

AAnonymous UserOverall, we had an enjoyable stay at Holiday Inn Resort Bintan. Cleanliness was generally good, although the floor was still a little dusty. One small inconvenience was the lack of hooks in the toilet to hang towels, and the pillows were too soft for our liking—made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. For a 5-star resort, the complimentary toiletries were minimal (only toothbrush and toothpaste provided), and there was no iron or bathrobe in the room, although an iron and board can be requested. The resort is not located near food outlets, so transport is needed if you want to explore outside. That said, the in-room dining exceeded our expectations—the steak is a must-try, absolutely superb! The resort also offers many facilities, which kept us occupied throughout our stay. Big shout-out to the resort crew—they were incredibly helpful and responsive, even assisting with printing our boarding pass and explaining the complimentary land transfer. One area that could be improved is the ferry bus arrangement. It got quite crowded during boarding and we didn’t realize a second bus was coming, so our group got split up unnecessarily. It would be helpful if a staff member could assist in organizing guests. Despite the few areas for improvement, we definitely plan to return. The hospitality and facilities made it a memorable stay!

AAnonymous UserService started right after pass immigration at the ferry terminal. They provide free shuttle to the hotel from terminal and we were surprised they already have our name on their list even though we did not inform them we are coming via ferry. Good service from all hotel staff and I love that we can get their help and services via whatapps instead of calling the reception or walking to the lobby. As there are nothing much to do in the hotel, a short staycation would be enough. Breakfast buffet was ok, would be better if have more choices. We had dinner at Stix Satay Bar and it was good.
