Room was cheap so one cant expect too much, but the floor space around the bed was so small that a medium suitcase could not be put flat and opened. Not insurmountable if you are a solo traveller but somewhat inconvenient. No bottled water in the room, No means of heating water to make a cup of tea, coffee or packet soup. Bed pillows were way too big and hard for me to sleep comfortably. Shower water ran from cold to luke warm, back to cold again. Mind you it was midnight when my flight arrived at the airport but I was sooo looking forward to a nice hot shower. Breakfast, which was included in the price consisted of 4 food warmers, all with just a few scraps of food remaining (cold), an almost empty dispenser of Milo Flakes breakfast cereal (which was stale), no sugar and no cold milk. Breakfast was advised as being available between 3am and 9am. I came down to the breakfast area at 7am. Only 1 young kid on duty who really looked as if he had no experience. The only food available upon request was lumpy soggy steamed rice and that also was not hot. Overall, I suppose one could say that for the really low price the hotel was adequate. But forget the breakfast if you have onward travel by air and buy something decent at the numerous cafes on the quarantine side of the airport's departures area.

Thank you for the best service to us in every we made a reservation in here. Always happy with the compliment which give to us like a upgrade room, welcome cake, welcome fruit, snack in the room, until late check out up to 4pm. Especially thank you to Pak Wahidin as General Manager, Mas Edi/Mbak Dya/Mbak Ika as FO team, who always prepare well during my staycation with my wife. We will always back and choose this hotel for another staycation, business trip, and lunch/dinner maybe. Ibis Styles Makassar already same with my second home. I will always back in here again and again. The warm welcome, fast respon and hospitality always make me comfort and i will recommend to my friends to stay in here. Walking distance to the Losari beach +/-5 minutes walk and other attraction places are also nearby, by Grabcar +/- IDR 10,000 Near to many restaurants local Indonesian authentic with affordable prices Walking distance to the convenient stores +/- 2 mins walk I got a free room upgrade. The room was spacious with a mini bar refrigerator & sofas. The bed & pillows are comfortable & TV was well functioning with the HBO channel. The bathroom was spacious & the hot water was well functioning. The room was cleaned perfectly & the furniture was all new. All staff were super friendly especially Dinda, the receptionist girl. She speaks good English, is very soft spoken & always smile when talking.

Firstly thank you to the female receptionist who allowed me to charge my iphone with hers upon my arrival, appreciate it. She checked me in smoothly and friendly Was staying for just one night for a business trip, stayed in 212 / 218, could not remember exactly, but it is on the 2nd floor, just in front of the guest lift landing. And boy was I wrong to expect a standard of product from an international chain hotel. The room was : Damp, dirty linen, blocked wash basin, dirty toilet bowl as dirty water keep running, stains on the sofa chairs, wet floor near the bed, filty shower room I wonder how Accor executing their routine inspection in their group, but this room is to be renovated immediately according to my experience. Guest can be ill staying in this room. BFast was ok,not too many option, ordered two boiled egg, and they were served without the egg stand and dirty egg shell. Didnt bother my self to change as was staying only for a night.

Stayed there for almost a week and had a wonderful experience. I arrived on Sunday morning around 9 and fully aware that the early check-in is subject to availability. So I decided to take stroll around the beach but suprisingly after only 1 hour staff informed that room is ready. Ananda and Irma at the front desk were really helpful as I just had 12hrs bus trip from Soroako. Breakfast was good, not much western option, fried rice was dry on the first day, but the salad was nice. Thumbs up to kind chef Ridho whom I found out was a trainee. Keep up the good work! Thanks also to Dwi for helping me out during checkout to name those excellent staff. Some feedback tho, the elevator was really annoying. If you wanna go down, elevator will often stop by some floor without any passenger. That happens because there we 2 sides of elevator with 2 separate buttons in every floor, people will press both and see which elevator comes first. One morning I had to stop by 11, 8, 5 but no one there. Another one, the hairdyer in my room only work for 1 minute. I had to wait for another few minutes for it to work again. Nevertheless, again, I had a memorable experience. The room was amazing, so was the view. Hope to come back soon.
