This was my second stay at the Hilton Osaka so I was familiar with the property, location and services. The location is fantastically convenient, within a couple of minutes walking distance of JR Osaka Station, various subway lines and major department stores and malls in Umeda. The hotel itself is fine, a fairly generic luxury hotel property and the rooms have all the modern conveniences you would expect. However, this time round we encountered a number of service failures due to the hotel staff seemingly struggling to cope with the much higher than normal volume of guests due to the combined effect of golden weeks in Japan and greater China. We had a couple of problems with the front desk staff and the breakfast restaurant was packed with long queues from 7.45am onwards. We will not choose this hotel again

The swimming pool is good, suitable for business trips, the high-altitude scenery is good, but the service is not very enthusiastic, the location is also OK, close to the city center, and there are not many parent-child projects

Great value for an overnight hotel before heading to Kansai Airport. The room is small, but has enough room for your things. There's an onsen which is an added bonus. The place is clean and there's plenty of parking. It's nearby a train station to also get to the airport. It's a 20 minute drive to the airport and close to convenience stores and a few restaurants.

The new hotel has a novel design and the rooms are large and comfortable. The hot spring on the top floor was the biggest surprise. The bath products were excellent. I even bought some in the lobby because I liked them so much. Located between Osaka and Kyoto, it is very convenient to travel to both places, and there is a station next to it. We chose this place because there is a large parking lot, and there are shopping malls and large bookstores on both sides of the station. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall and restaurants, with many food options. Although it is between two major cities, it is not in the countryside and has a beautiful riverside. We passed by it on our way by bicycle and were very satisfied.

Excellent location and view. Especially for family with kids, this hotel is right above Namba station and walking distance to kuromon market, dontorbori. Easy to get to different subways for traveling. Though is 2 double beds. One bed can fit one Asian adult and child.

We had a wonderful stay at Centara Grand Osaka. It’s great value for money, especially for families. Even the standard room was impressively large with a thoughtful layout and spacious entryway—perfect for maneuvering luggage, a stroller, and keeping shoes organized. The bed was big and very comfortable, and we appreciated the provided toiletries and pyjamas for kids. The hotel is conveniently located near Namba Station and Namba Parks, with plenty of eateries and shops within walking distance. The staff were mostly international and spoke English well, which made communication smooth and easy. Breakfast had a refreshing Thai-inspired twist, a welcome change from the Japanese meals we enjoyed throughout the day. Highly recommended for families visiting Osaka!

It was a good hotel and clean but no any facilities if you want to use swimming pool bath like you have to pay a lot of money. I stayed this hotel cuz there is swimming pool for kids but we couldn’t use. We also stayed another hope it was really cheaper than here but we used Japan style bath spa without any charge so for this one i disappointed ☹️

As for my first time visit Japan (Osaka) i felt like i’ve made a good decision to stay here for 5 nights straight. Located in the heart of city Namba which is just walking distance like within 3-5mins to Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi area. And also near access to Metro, JR, Kintetsu & Nankai line. Lawson and 7e just right and left hotel so not to worry if hungry at the night out of sudden, plus easy to get halal food as well as Muqam Restaurant just next to 7e. This hotel is self-checkin/checkout hotel and the system very easy to use plus their receptionist very friendly and helpful. No regrets and would recommend to my family & friends and sure will be back again.

GGuest UserThe room is spacious by Japan standards and well-equipped with essentials like a hairdryer, electric kettle, air purifier/humidifier, air-conditioning, and basic amenities. If you opt for daily housekeeping, they’ll replenish items such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, combs, toothbrushes, razors, cotton buds, and body sponges. Towels are changed and trash is cleared daily as well. The only downside is the lack of complimentary drinking or hot water, even at the lobby—so you’ll have to boil water using the kettle provided in the room, which can be a bit inconvenient. Location-wise, it’s excellent—just a short walk from the train station, with a Don Quijote and FamilyMart nearby. There’s also a Daiso downstairs, along with plenty of restaurants and a game arcade. The complimentary breakfast buffet is a highlight, offering a wide variety. It’s not extravagant but includes both Japanese and Western dishes such as curry rice, udon, pickles, grilled salmon, takoyaki, cold tofu, salads, warabimochi, sausages, chicken rings, fried chicken, cereals, milk, bread rolls with spreads, soft serve ice cream, DIY waffles, fruits, and beverages like coffee, tea, juice, and soft drinks.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at the Dormy Inn in Osaka for just one night, and for only $52, it was an absolute gem! This budget-friendly hotel exceeded all expectations, offering so many thoughtful amenities that it felt like a luxury stay. The highlights included free ramen and ice cream at night—a unique and delightful touch—and the provision of pajamas and slippers for added comfort. The free washer and inexpensive dryer (just 100 yen for 20 minutes) were incredibly convenient, especially for travelers packing light. The public hot bath was another standout feature, providing a relaxing way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The room itself was fantastic. The bed was super comfortable, and the blackout blinds ensured a perfect night’s sleep. I also loved that the bed was accessible from three sides—a rare design in Japan that made the room feel surprisingly spacious. One particularly convenient feature was the self-check-in kiosk, which made the check-in and check-out process quick and easy, especially for international visitors who may not speak Japanese. Additionally, the 11 a.m. checkout time is relatively late for Japan, giving guests a more relaxed start to their day. Location-wise, the hotel is about a 6-minute walk to the subway and a 20-30 minute stroll to Osaka Castle. While there aren’t many activities immediately nearby, the hotel’s convenience and outstanding amenities more than compensate for this. For a budget-friendly option, Dormy Inn checks all the boxes and then some. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka. Truly a perfect stay!

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel location is very close to the train station and the hotel room is very clean and tidy, my overall comment is not good. Nowadays, most people charge small electronic devices / apparatus by using USB line but this hotel does not offer this to customers and we are still required to bring along with own sockets for charging. It really made customers not so convenient. The operation of the women spa was terrible while my family and I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. My wife used the spa for 2 nights. She was very surprised that somebody brought a boy aged at least 7 years old and they wore swimming suit to use spa service. It made my wife so embarrassed and unsatisfied. It is ridiculous to have such an incident happened. The hotel should monitor this area very frequently and ensure all customers have enough privacy, safety and protection.
