We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Perfect location to discover all that Ålesund has to offer. Easy to come to the hotel by the shuttlebus from the airport and a few minutes walk. Room, service and breakfast very good. We will come back.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea. There are cheap public parking spaces at the door, but the number is limited. The hotel's own parking lot is indoors, probably converted from an air-raid shelter. There is a very narrow door inside, and drivers with poor driving skills may not be able to park in it. The room was absolutely tiny, there is no privacy in the bathroom as it's basically a box next to your bed. Had to carry our luggage up the stairs to get to the room. Adjacent restaurant took 10 minutes to acknowledge us and say they're fully booked. Historic building & good location but that's about it. Would not recommend.

This place is very convenient, good location, lovely area. Small but clean. Breakfast was fantastic! We are Thai and we met a Thai receptionist and she was very helpful. Try ask for quiet room because we booked 3 rooms but 2 rooms said it a bit noisy at night (we were there on a weekend). Definitely recommend.
