One of the nicest places to stay for the cost. Rooms are always clean. Friendly staff. Offers a pool, laundry, and gas station access in front of building.
Booked through Ctrip, same hotel last year and this year. Recommended
Facilities: Complete, with swimming pool and fitness room.
Sanitation: Clean and sanitary.
Environment: The hotel is next to the main road and close to the highway, which is very convenient for self-driving tours.
Service: There is still a big difference between the service in the United States and China. The experience is very strong.
The location was pleasant, each room has their own balcony or patio. The breakfast was the usual continental fare, but I appreciated the staff’s efforts in making sure any messes were immediately cleaned and guests were assisted. One minor complaint I had was the internet, it seemed spotty at times as the connection was not the greatest during a Zoom call for a business meeting. Otherwise, I slept well.
The receptionist was extremely helpful, kind and attentive!! She noticed my disability and even offered me a handicapped room and removed the 10.00 parking lot charge something I was totally unaware of
Their rooms are always clean, nice and nothing more or nothing less than the traveler would need!!
The bar was nice with live music but I had to get a barmaids attention after waiting for about 15 minutes in a practically empty bar. Margarita was OK. They only offered one kind.
Love this hotel. It's clean and modern.Plus, if you have your dog along, they except pets!😁 The breakfast is also delicious. They had green chili for our eggs. Bonus! We have stayed here more than once. The hot springs pool is also close.

There’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction.
One of the cleanest and nicer La Quintas I've ever stayed in. It includes a nice weight room, updated lobby, abundant parking and it is next to I-25. I didn't try the pool or jacuzzi, but they looked good as well.

Jjames michaelPerfect location, clean facility, everything we needed on our way to Utah
GGuest User1. Price was very affordable. I wasn’t expecting too much, but it went well above my expectations for this price. Yes, it’s an old hotel so the furniture seems a bit old with scratches and dents, but the room was kept clean overall. It did have a distinct smell that bothered me when I entered the room, but after a few minutes I got used to it. If you’re hesitating because the price is too cheap, I honestly think it’s only because of its age.
2. Location was not far from the COS airport. Local buses were during ozone season, but if you want to go far you would need to get an uber. The neighborhood seemed quiet and peaceful, but I did hear sirens going off three times during my two nights of stay.
3. The building is a condominium with a few rooms they rent out as hotel rooms. Its residents were primarily retired people who were friendly and chill.
4. The guy at the reception was super friendly. We chatted about our times in the army. I noticed a lot of retired service members in the building throughout my stay which made me feel very safe.
5. Breakfast was not a buffet, but was made freshly per order. Eggs, pancakes, and potatoes were served for free, and I was able to add two strips of bacon for a dollar fifty. Tina, the waitress, was very nice, and Jimmy, the cook, was also friendly. Food was delicious. Jimmy was so excited for me to try his “space cake”, which was also amazing. The outdoor seating has a great view of the mountains, so I recommend sitting outside.
GGuest UserThey did above and beyond to make our state safe because
Of the COVID-19 virus. Our room was not like others Hampton we hqve been for a 3 start hotel. It looked like more a 2 start hotel. But our room was good for the price we paid. We found a deal on trip.com under $80.
GGuest UserFirst off this hotel has a great location. You can get on C-470 in just 2 - 3 minutes and access to I-25 is just as easy and takes only 5 or so minutes. Within less than a mile radius is the Park Meadows Mall, several supermarkets/drug stores, more restaurants than you can imagine, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Costco, Ikea, golf courses, bike trails, parks, and so on. The hotel appears to have been updated fairly recently as all finishes in the building looked clean, shiney and quite new. Our room was of average size with 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. We especially liked the fact that the shower/toilet area was separated from the bathroom sink area. The room was very quiet as there was no noise from either the outside or from adjoining rooms or the hallway. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, as the slightest noise keeps me awake, but during our stay here I slept like a baby. The front desk personnel were professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The only slight minus to our experience was that the breakfast menu was on the light side compared to most other hotels we have stayed in, however the dining space is spacious and clean. In summary, you can't go wrong in choosing to stay at this well managed hotel.
GGuest UserWe had a great stay at hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. Of course it’s amazing to stay in an iconic hotel that has existed for 130 years, and it’s charm and decor do not disappoint. The renovated rooms have maintained their charm, while having a little style update. The staff is amazing – very helpful and willing to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one. In the summer, do not miss dining on the patio.
GGuest UserWhen Isabella checked us in she was friendly and helpful. Our one bedroom suite was nicely updated, spacious, and stocked with more than we needed (toiletries, pots/pans, dish soap, etc). The heat worked very well, the shower was nice and hot, and the bed was comfortable. Ran to Walmart around the corner to buy a rug for inside the front door as our snowy shoes were quite slippery on the flooring. It was tough to turn onto the street when going somewhere as the plows caused high snow mounds that we couldn’t see around/over for oncoming traffic. For that same reason it was almost impossible to walk our dog around the area; we ended up having to put him in the car and drive somewhere else. The staff was very kind and let us have a late checkout since it wasn't a busy arrival day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book with them again.
GGuest UserNice location. New property is clean and stylish. Aesthetically pleasing. Very clean. Comfortable. Love the toiletries. This is where it ends. Check-in was pleasant enough, but not a warm welcome. It seemed as though you are an inconvenience. Also, poor communication as the lady was looking something up in the computer, but did not let me know, so you're just standing there waiting for an answer. An Atwell card in the room read ”if you need anything, let us know”. Well, I was in need of a shower cap but they didn't have any. There is only 1 dining room chair, I asked for more, but the receptionist said ”I can't get ahold of anyone so I think that's all we have”. Last item request was for a bowl as we brought our own breakfast due to dietary needs and of course, ”we don't have those but you can come down for breakfast”. Advice: You can ask for items, but that's where it ends. Most hotels have basic amenities for travelers, but not this place. I doubt we'll be returning to this place as there are many other hotels in the area that are more prepared for travelers.
DDustin Paul-Green to the Extreme-
This hotel should have 5 stars as they have excellent breakfast, the facility is renovated and in good shape, parking is free and common areas are well-maintained. My main problem pertains to their ”Green” practice, which has been taken to an extreme level. As a ”green” hotel, the lights in the room shut off completely after 30 minutes of in-room motion. Working at the desk in my room, I had the lights shut off 5 times while I was trying to work at my desk (very annoying). Secondly, all of the outlets are set to green timers so they shut-off after 30 minutes. This means that their own alarm clock doesn't work because it resets to 12 AM every 30 minutes......lol.....why is it even in the room?
Being green is one thing, penny pinching is another. If they truly wanted to save the environment, they wouldn't have a hot tub and pool (believe it or not, heating these puppies 24-7 costs far more than shutting off visitor's high efficiency LED lights and outlets. Get rid of these bologna problems and you will get five stars.
JJenny WeatherredThe customer service at this location is absolutely above and beyond our expectations. Everyone we have encountered over the last 2 weeks has been incredibly pleasant and helpful regardless of the time or day or night or the situation at hand. Our door even froze shut and the young lady working overnight did not hesitate to come out into the cold as quick as she could to get us into our room. Thank you!
