Manxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.' **Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down. **Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare. **Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable! **Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests. **In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay. **Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this.

This hotel is super conveniently located right in front of the Qifeng Plaza Tourist Center, making transportation a breeze. It's also just a few minutes' walk to Hongqiao, which is incredibly handy. Behind the hotel, you'll find a residential area with stunning green hills all around, making for a very quiet stay. The hotel facilities are relatively new and easy to use. The hygiene standards are also quite good. Breakfast offers a wide variety, and the stir-fried dishes are delicious. Overall, it's a great place.

Traveling to Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan with my family, the Hilton Garden Inn was by far the best accommodation experience of our entire trip. Its location is superb, very close to the Wulingyuan Scenic Area; a taxi ride of just a few minutes gets you there, making mountain excursions incredibly convenient. You can also walk to Baofeng Lake from the hotel, which is a huge plus. The hotel boasts its own courtyard, offering an elegant ambiance and perfect photo opportunities. The rooms are spacious, meticulously cleaned, with soft bedding, and a well-designed wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a restful sleep after a tiring day of hiking. The service was warm and attentive; check-in was efficient, and Joanna was particularly thoughtful, offering great advice for exploring the scenic area. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both Chinese and Western options, and everything was delicious. Overall, the hotel has a quiet and cozy atmosphere, with well-maintained facilities and great value for money. It truly enhanced our scenic journey, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Zhangjiajie.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming and always ready to help. A special thank you to Cherry, who was always available via WhatsApp and helped us with everything we needed throughout our stay. The restaurant staff were also amazing. A very special mention to Ms. H.Q. Du at the breakfast restaurant — she is honestly the sweetest! She went above and beyond every single day and helped us with literally everything. She made our mornings even better. ❤️ The rooms are very clean, the swimming pool is beautiful, and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. The location is also perfect for exploring Zhangjiajie, with easy access to the main attractions. We stayed here with so much pleasure and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

This guesthouse boasts an elegant and timeless Song Dynasty-inspired decor, exuding an antique charm. The service from the staff is meticulous and thoughtful; they not only ensured everything was well-arranged but also helped with laundry and shoe cleaning, truly paying attention to the small details. There are four or five adorable and cuddly cats on the premises, and playing with them in your free time is incredibly therapeutic. It's just a five-minute taxi ride to the Tianmen Mountain cable car, and the complimentary shuttle service is clean and tidy, even featuring massage functions in the car, which was perfect for relaxing after a tiring journey. Overall, my stay was exceptionally comfortable and pleasant.

Right by the Tianmen Mountain Cableway, it's just a few minutes' walk to the cableway station and a 10-minute drive to the airport, making getting around super convenient. There's a snack street right behind the hotel, and major chain restaurants are all within a 5-minute walk. The hotel features a self-service laundry room and a full smart-room automation system. Opening the door opens up to a great view—you can see the backside of Tianmen Mountain right from the room. Kids can also play games in the lobby. Highly recommended!

The room was absolutely satisfying; it was very clean and comfortable, and super close to the scenic area. The hotel front desk staff provided warm and excellent service. Breakfast was also great with a rich variety. Transportation nearby is very convenient. The hotel offers a free laundry room and even airport and West Station transfers. The service is incredibly thoughtful and highly recommended.

Sun Valley absolutely deserves a five-star rating! The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, the air is fresh, and it's perfect for photos. The room was spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail, making for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. The staff were excellent, providing attentive service without being intrusive. My timing was perfect for this trip, as the large fields of rapeseed flowers were in full bloom. Overall, a fantastic experience!

This is my third time staying at InterContinental Changsha, and it's still as good as ever. Before I even arrived, I proactively contacted Rarity from the Club Lounge, and she immediately noted my preferences and arranged the room accordingly. Throughout my stay, I received warm hospitality from every staff member. In particular, the Executive Lounge service was fantastic and pleasantly surprising. The lounge offerings were richer than before. On the last night, during happy hour, I couldn't eat spicy food or beef. The lounge staff, Miss Zhang Xinyi, immediately had the chef specially prepare a bowl of tomato and egg noodles for me. It was incredibly thoughtful! I hope the lounge continues to get even better. Chen Liyun, from housekeeping, was also very meticulous and attentive, providing us with a clean and comfortable living environment. My husband and I were reluctant to leave and hope to return again if we get the chance.

This place is super close to the east gate of the Forest Park, and you can even park right out front. The owner is really thoughtful and will save a parking spot for you when you go out. There's a nice little river right by the entrance too; if you have some extra time, you can even go down and play in the water.
