The hotel's environment, cleanliness, and service were all excellent! I had scheduled a shuttle to the high-speed rail station for 1:30 PM the next day, but due to a slight delay returning from Tianmen Mountain, I informed the staff that I would need to leave at 1:50 PM. They were all very accommodating and helpful. The suite was spacious and had a great view. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Zhangjiajie!

The hotel was very quiet and ideally located, close to both the high-speed rail station and the College of Arts and Sciences. The only downside was breakfast, which was a bit noisy and crowded, probably due to tour groups. Other than that, everything was great, and the staff's service was outstanding and very welcoming!
An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental!
Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops.
Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective.
Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby.
Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea.
Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home.
I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

The room was spotless and well-equipped, perfect for a family trip. The breakfast truly offered a mix of Chinese and Western options. The service, though, was absolutely outstanding. They provided pick-up and drop-off services for Tianmen Mountain and the airport – just remember to book about an hour and a half in advance. On our last day, we had an early flight and the nearby restaurants were closed, so our butler actually drove us to a restaurant further away and then even picked us up from there to take us directly to the airport. The service was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous. And the environment goes without saying – our room had a view of Tianmen Cave. I don't have hotel photos, so I've included a few of the scenic area instead. Service: 👍

The hotel room was exceptionally spacious with a classic decor, and the bedding was of very high quality and incredibly comfortable. The butler service exceeded my expectations and truly impressed me. Before check-in, the butler, Grace, proactively contacted me to inquire about my needs. Throughout my stay, whatever I required, the butler responded promptly and resolved my issues, making me feel exceptionally cared for. The hotel offers a wide variety of dining options, with a diverse breakfast selection and a pleasant restaurant ambiance. Highly recommended!

Came to Hengyang to watch a concert, and chose a hotel with a good reputation. As expected, I was not disappointed. The hotel provides four meals a day, which is very convenient. Miss Ouyang at the front desk has a good service attitude and is willing to help guests. The guest room is also very comfortable, clean and tidy. Overall, I am satisfied and give it a five-star rating!

The hotel is really cool, and the elevator's decor is quite artistic. My only minor complaint is the unique smell on the first floor, which I wasn't too fond of.
The ground floor isn't the lobby; you need to go to the 6th floor to check in. There's a nice terrace garden up on the 6th floor.
The hotel staff are very friendly and always help with the elevator, and the cleaning staff always greet you warmly.
The day before check-in, they even called to ask if we had any special requests. The drinks in the mini-fridge were complimentary on the first day, but we didn't end up drinking much of them.
Our room had a large sofa, big enough for an adult to sleep on comfortably, which was perfect for our family of three.
We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The hotel is located right above a shopping mall with plenty of food options. We tried some rice noodles and wontons, both of which were delicious. It's also convenient for grabbing a late-night snack.
Nearby, there's Qu Ji and Ben Luobo, and a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right downstairs where there's usually no queue – we tried them all. In the evening, there's also a night market food street next door with what looked like a lot of tasty options.

This garden hotel truly lives up to its name, boasting an excellent location and a serene, elegant ambiance that feels like stepping into a lush garden. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and feature brand new, comfortable facilities. The front desk staff kindly upgraded our room, and the concierge, housekeeping, and buffet restaurant teams were all incredibly warm and attentive. A special shout-out to the housekeeper on the 3rd floor of Building 7, who was especially friendly and helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience!

This is a listed five-star hotel. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel its high-end and grandeur.
In terms of service, it is completely five-star standard. The staff are warm and considerate. Whether it is the front desk reception or room service, they can respond to my requests, which makes me feel very considerate.
The room is spacious and comfortable, the bedding is soft and clean, and all supporting facilities are available, making it very convenient to use.
The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good.
The most important thing is that considering the high-quality services and complete facilities it provides, the price is very reasonable and the price-performance ratio is very high!

Good hotel near South railway station. Nice rooms. Three elevators is not much for 30 floor building, but luckily the hotel wasn't nearly () fully occupied. Breakfast options a bit limited for a hotel like this. Chinese breakfast: few vegatable options. Western breakfast: good European style bread but nothing to put on it except jam.

GGuest UserThe Zuixiangxi Grand Hotel truly lives up to its name, both in terms of being 'the best' and 'grand.' It's conveniently located right next to the main scenic area, offering direct views of the most beautiful sights. The hotel itself is quite large, as is its parking lot, which even has charging stations. Right in front of the hotel, there's a big landscaped square. Despite its proximity to the core scenic spots, it's very quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering excellent value for money. The restaurant is also very large, allowing you to enjoy delicious meals without even leaving the hotel, and the breakfast spread is extensive. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, providing gifts upon arrival and departure. Ctrip customers even have a dedicated reception floor! There are also amenities like a supermarket and opportunities for ethnic costume photography. If you're looking to meet international guests, this hotel sees a lot of them. It really feels like there's nothing guests can't imagine that the hotel can't provide. It's perfectly suited for self-driving travelers who want to avoid unnecessary expenses.
GGuest UserWhat I loved most during my stay was the peaceful atmosphere of the water village. The gentle sound of water and lush greenery all around made me feel incredibly relaxed. The room itself was practical, with no unnecessary frills, and everything was easy to use. The bathroom was spacious, the water pressure was steady, and the linens were soft and clean. It was also conveniently located not far from the common areas, making it easy to get around. Perfect for a slow-paced, relaxing vacation.
GGuest UserHonestly, this was one of the best places we have every stayed. The amenities were spotless and perfectly designed. The staff was not only extremely friendly and welcoming, but also attentive and willing to help us with literally anything immediately. The breakfast was delicious. We got to choose each night our breakfast set for the next morning so there was enough flexibility and variety. We loved it. The location was fantastic as well. Just in walking distance from the cable car station to Tianmen mountain. We had such a good time that we sometimes just stayed for a while in the lobby, chat to the staff and most importantly played with the cats! All in all a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend it! 这几天住的很开心,谢谢你们!

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located at the East Gate of the scenic area. Since the scenic area ticket allows re-entry for four days, the hotel's location was incredibly convenient for us independent travelers. The room was tidy and clean, and the hotel's service was excellent. Communication was smooth, and any questions we had were answered promptly, which made our stay very comfortable. We'll definitely stay here again if we visit during a different season.
QQingqingdezhuI brought my child here for spring break and was very happy with this hotel, it's the best in the ancient town!
**Facilities:** Very new, great design, everything feels brand new.
**Environment:** It's about 100 meters from the scenic area entrance, and the scenic area ticket is valid for three days, so it's very convenient and quiet. Staying inside the scenic area can be quite noisy with all the performances.
**Hygiene:** Very good.
**Service:** Excellent, especially the complimentary private car service to the high-speed rail station when we checked out. The driver who took us to the station was very thoughtful.
**Suggestions:** It would be great if breakfast could be served a bit longer. When we went a little after 9 AM, there wasn't much food left.
SShuiguotouleThe hotel is located on a main road, within its own private compound, close to the river. If you enjoy walking, you can take a side entrance from the hotel to the riverside and reach the core scenic area of Fenghuang within twenty minutes. An evening stroll offers excellent views, with plenty of spots to take photos along the way without having to retrace your steps. The facilities are comprehensive, and the rooms are quite spacious. There are many restaurants nearby, and the entertainment atmosphere is vibrant. However, it's best to avoid peak times for breakfast as it can get crowded and noisy.
