We were in our Hoony moon and we can say this is the best hotel we had in China! People at front desk is polite and friendly. The room had an incredible view and was clean. We used the laundry zone and Worked perfectly. The breakfast was very good it had west options like boiled eggs and fried eggs, bread, cereal, yogurth and an amazing american coffee. The location was great, 15 minutes walking to the cable station to go to the tianmen mountain. Also a very good place to be to the pick up for tours and Didi and very near to the bus station. They had the Service of pick up at the train station and were punctual. We strongly recommend it.

The room decor was cozy and well-equipped. The front desk arranged for housekeepers to clean our room every day during our multi-day stay, and their service was very warm and friendly. Anything we needed could be delivered by a robot at any time. The hotel is very close to the river view, making its location convenient for getting around. It's a great hotel!

They proactively reached out a day before my arrival to confirm my check-in time and provided the precise location, which was very thoughtful. The room is well-equipped, and the location is incredibly convenient. Right downstairs, you have direct access to Jiefang West Road, Pozi Street, Taiping Old Street, IFS, and the pedestrian street. The customer service attendant was also wonderfully attentive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

A Perfect Stay with Exceptional Service
Our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Zhangjiajie was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is perfectly located — slightly away from the busy city, yet in a very cool and peaceful area. Almost everything you need is nearby, especially the Forest Park, which makes it an ideal base for exploring Zhangjiajie. There are plenty of eateries around, with many nice restaurants and local food options within easy walking distance, making meals very convenient.
The breakfast at the hotel was good and a great way to start a full day of sightseeing. What truly made our stay special was Joanna. She helped us like anything — patiently handling every query, booking tickets for us, and always being available whenever we felt stuck. Because of her support, our trip was smooth, carefree, and incredibly easy to navigate.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, a great location, and outstanding service.

This stay was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is in an excellent location, and it is very convenient for shopping and dining. The room is spacious and bright, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows have a great view. It is so relaxing to overlook the city night view at night. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. What I remember most is the service. When I needed a sewing kit during the stay, the staff delivered it to the room in less than 5 minutes. When I checked out, Phoebe took the initiative to ask for help calling a taxi, which was very considerate! The whole experience was comfortable and worry-free, and I have recommended it to my friends.

The hotel is located on the riverfront, boasting a prime location. Arriving around noon, the front desk staff were attentive and responsible, patiently answering all questions and even arranging a room upgrade. The higher floors offered beautiful views, including a nighttime performance, with a panoramic vista. The room was clean and tidy. Despite the large crowds during the National Day holiday, the hotel remained quiet and peaceful. Wanda Plaza is right across the street, and Fisherman's Wharf is only 400 meters away. Enjoying crayfish by the river is a very pleasant experience. Next to Wanda Plaza is the Denghuang Night Market, where you can sample various Changsha snacks.

The hotel is clean, hygienic, and has a great ambiance with excellent service. There's an independent restaurant and a supermarket on-site. The swimming pool and parking are convenient, with EV charging stations available. The room layout is well-designed, and there's even wireless phone charging. Breakfast offers a rich variety of options, including both Chinese and Western cuisine. They also provide complimentary fruit. It's close to the airport and offers a taxi-hailing service.
We stayed at this hotel for only one night to visit Furong Town and must admit this was the best sleep we had in our entire China trip.
Their beds are extremely comfortable- of great size and comes with a super fluffy duvet.
Good location to the town itself, not even 5 min walk away from the admission gate.
Within that same distance there is a Luckin Coffee too, for the caffeine lovers amongst us.
The hotel itself looked aesthetically pleasing and very calming.
They have a butler available for you to fit your needs. They also provide station transfers which was very convenient.
The breakfast buffet has plenty of food available, but come early. The aunties and uncles are up early and that is noticeable with what is left if you come down in the last hour. Its about 95% Chinese catered and at most 5% western. Keep that in mind if you ”need” your bread.
The room came with good quality supplies as well and lovely soaps.
Our overall experience was excellent here and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The only thing to mention was that there was a stain on one of our bathrobes. We would come here, without hesitation again.
The night before, I booked the Hilton Changsha Shimao through the Hilton platform, and the experience was utterly terrible. The soundproofing was awful. I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the hallway and didn't sleep a wink all night, ending up with a pounding headache.
First thing in the morning, I rebooked at the InterContinental via Trip.com. Miss Anna Jiang at the front desk was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely warm. I was so touched! She walked me to the elevator, introduced me to the hotel facilities and restaurants. She even pre-warned me that the river view rooms are near the elevators and to let them know if I experienced any noise so I could switch rooms. The concierge staff were also very proactive and helpful; I really appreciate their assistance.
Although the hotel's hardware facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. The room view was lovely, overlooking the delta where the Liuyang River and Xiang River converge. There's a direct passage to the adjacent shopping malls (Beichenhui/Joy City), making dining and shopping very convenient.
Breakfast here has the best Western pastries among all the international brand hotels I've stayed at in the past few months. It really suited my preferences, and the coffee was made with an espresso machine. There were also plenty of Chinese options, including rice noodles, but the texture wasn't quite to my liking; they were a bit too thick.
Before checking out, I realized I'd left a ring in the room. I called, and they informed me it had already been found and sent to the concierge. It was perfect timing as I was just returning from visiting the Changsha Museum and picked it up on my way back. Oh, and right across from the hotel are the 'Three Museums and One Hall,' which are within walking distance.
For food deliveries, you have to pick them up from external lockers, which is understandable and acceptable to me.

This hotel is excellent! It's clean, hygienic, and offers conditions far superior to other hotels in the same price range. The service is also top-notch. Upon checkout, I received little gifts like a charging cable, a card holder, a steam eye mask, and a small charm. They even offer a complimentary shuttle to the train station, which is such a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff are very warm and welcoming. I genuinely recommend this place.
The bustling Dongshan Night Market is right downstairs, which is perfect!

GGuest UserOverall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel's parking lot is spacious and plentiful, which is especially convenient for self-driving travelers like us – it's our top choice when driving. The location is also very convenient, close to Hongqiao, and you can walk there in just a few minutes. The breakfast was decent, but the variety wasn't particularly extensive. The service was very thoughtful; they kindly provided fruit upon check-in and ginger candy upon check-out. The staff were warm and attentive, making for a great overall experience.
GGuest UserThe best reception in any resort I have ever gotten!
Mainly Cherry received us very warmly, guided us, produced us with a lot of helpful tips and tricks.
The room we stayed in was the Watery B one, very spacious, nice bathtub and very clean.
Location-wise they provide you with free shuttles to the train station, Natural Park (Avatar) & Glass Bridge.
The food in the Chinese hotel was nice, with a very talented singer, Monica.
The owner of the hotel is very warm, curious and smart person.
Altogether, we felt home there and will 100% return!
GGuest UserWow, this hotel truly exceeded all our expectations. Everything about our stay was exceptional, and I can confidently say there was not a single fault.
From the very beginning, we felt incredibly welcomed by the staff. We were greeted downstairs at the door, our luggage was taken care of, and we were even offered tea and a hot towel, which was such a nice gesture.
Before we were escorted to our room, the staff even helped us to change into slippers (outside shoes aren’t allowed past the lobby). One of the staff members then accompanied us to the room and explained every detail about it, something I’ve never experienced before. The room itself was also spotless and very comfortable. The shower was spacious, and the toiletries provided were of high quality.
I also wanted to mention a moment where I truly felt genuine care from the staff. On a day when the temperature suddenly dropped, they had advised us to dress warmly and even provided us a bag with rain jackets and water. Without this kind gesture, I genuinely feel like I would’ve gotten sick so I felt extremely thankful. Coming back to the hotel, they even welcomed us back with hot tea and dessert, which was such a comforting and thoughtful touch.
The hotel was also home to five adorable and friendly kitties. As a cat lover, this was such a delightful bonus and made the entire stay feel even more charming and homey.
Overall, I would highly highly recommend this hotel. Although it is slightly pricier than the average of most hotels located in Zhangjiajie, the service and quality of the room definitely make up for it. There is no doubt that I’ll be staying here again when I come back to visit!

MM17577****My stay at the W Hotel Changsha was fantastic! It's super close to the South Railway Station, which is a huge plus. The mall downstairs made shopping incredibly convenient, and the hotel's design is truly eye-catching. All the staff were very welcoming, and I especially appreciate the attentive service from the 'Whatever/Whenever' team throughout my stay. I'll definitely choose W again next time!! 🥰🥰🥰

MM309511****The hotel was renovated in 2018, so it's a bit dated, but the value for money is excellent, and the location is superb. I was downstairs by 7:45 AM and had already scanned my ID to enter the East Gate by 7:53 AM, haha. There are also amenities like Cuicui Tea, pharmacies, and foot massage shops nearby, so you won't be bored after coming down from the mountain. The Xiangjian local restaurant nearby is delicious! My mom and I both loved it, definitely worth a try. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and the stay. The only minor downside is that being close to the mountain, it can be a bit humid, but that's to be expected. The location is truly great.
GGuest UserTook my family to Aizhai Bridge and Fenghuang for the weekend. I specifically chose a new hotel. The room was really nice, the facilities were quite upscale, the environment was comfortable, and there was a wide variety for breakfast. It's very close to the Tuojiang River, and the night view around is incredibly beautiful. The front desk service was enthusiastic. My whole family loved it.
