"An absolute gem! The owner, Chantal, is very involved in overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and it shows. They were extremely accommodating - we had an outdoor camper trailer which they allowed us to park and connect to electricity. All the staff are super friendly and polite. The rooms are tastefully decorated/designed and the bed was vey comfy. Beautiful outdoor pool and bar. Can’t recommend highly enough!!
Only 2 suggestions for improvement:
1) A signpost is desperately needed on the main road and T-junction to show where the place is.
2) Put a hairdryer in the room."

During the rainy season, it's very challenging to dry things or keep them dry.
Since the pictures already showed limited space for luggage, we specifically requested luggage storage via email. This was confirmed to us...
But upon arrival, the reception claimed there was enough space under the bed.
However, hardly anyone has such a narrow suitcase. So we had to stack everything in a corner.
The location directly on the Zambezi is perfect, and if you want a bit more luxury, you just walk a few meters further to the neighbors.
The breakfast was very good, and there was something for every taste.

GGuest UserOverall, for a hostel this was a good experience! I was not worried about safety because there was a safe in our room that was big enough to hold valuables like laptops. However, because it was a hostel the cleanliness of the room and shared bathrooms were average, but good enough for a one-night stay. The restaurant had very slow service because everything is cooked to order. I waited around 45 min for breakfast when only one person had placed an order before me. That said, it was delicious. I think this hostel has a great location near the airport and I appreciated the complimentary airport pick-up and daily shuttle to the falls.

Hard to find fault with this hotel, the outdoor poolside patio had some mosquitoes during the late night. Definitely the best place to stay in Livingstone

GGuest UserGreat place, very friendly staff, breakfast was just scrumptious. From the downsides is the lack of TV and some amenities, such as toothbrush, hair dryer or a rubbish bin. Besides the minor inconveniences I’d recommend the place!

GGuest UserThe hotel provides considerate service from check-in to check-out, and the front desk is warm and professional, which makes you feel like you are in the spring breeze. The guest rooms are stylishly designed, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the city night view. The bedding is selected from top brands, and you can fall into a cloud-like sleeping experience. The gym is equipped with Technogym equipment, and the water quality of the heated swimming pool is comparable to that of a private club. Chinese and Western breakfasts are cooked to order, and the Benedict eggs are a must. The cleaning lady even arranges the cosmetics in an artistic shape, which satisfies detail lovers!

CCHUNYANGThe environment is good, but unfortunately there is not a lot of water in the lake during the dry season. The diet is mainly western food, and you can also taste fish and shrimp in the lake. The local staple food ”Sima” is also available.

AAnonymous Userバックパック一人旅で利用しました。私が利用した際は一人旅の人は多分おらず部屋も1人で使えました。
スタッフは優しく丁寧で、ドミトリーとして標準的な清潔感だと思います。詳細は以下の通りです。
Wi-Fiはレセプション周辺のみで使えて部屋では使えませんでした。シャワーはお湯が出ます。私が訪れたのは4月ですがシャワー室にはたくさんの蚊がいたのでそれは少し残念でした。次の日の朝起きると枕元に大きな蜘蛛がいたのは少し怖かったですがアフリカらしさですね笑笑
部屋にはエアコンはなく、各ベッドについてるファンは作動しないので夏は暑いと思います。
飲める水の出るタップがあるのでそれも便利でした。ロケーションは完璧で、荷物も鍵のある部屋で預かってくれます。
ここはスタッフはとても優しく素晴らしく買ったですが、他の宿泊者に感して残念だったことがありました。これはこのホステルには関係ないので評価には含めていません。ただの宿泊者への注意喚起です。宿泊中1人のナミビアからの40歳ほどの旅行者に声をかけられ挨拶しました。するとその人に、たいした会話もないうちからここには書きたくないようなセクハラを受け、その後もずっと性的な誘いをされ続けました。何度断っても、無視してもです。レセプションにしかWi-Fiがなかったのに、最低限の利用で部屋に引き上げないといけませんでした。もし夜にその人に部屋までついてこられたり、シャワー室で待ち伏せされてたらどうしようと恐怖でした。スタッフに相談することも考えましたがスタッフからの注意で逆上されることも怖くて結局言えませんでした。
ドミトリーという性質上そういう人に会う可能性は常にありますが本当に気持ち悪かったです。彼はよくここを利用していると言っていたのでご注意ください。
