Very good location near to Roma Termini. You will need to walk about 20-30mins to most of the attractions. The metro does not bring you to places like Trevi Fountain or Piazza Novono. You can take the metro from here to Colosseum and Vatican City though which makes it convenient. Direct train to the airport too.
Staff were very helpful and able to provide early breakfast if needed.
Basic amenities. Need to ask for things like toothbrushes. No daily free bottle of water. We stayed there for 3 nights and we got 1 x 500ml water bottle to share. Also not too sure why there was an exercise bike in the room. (Maybe a gym room for the staff when no guests booked the room??)
The transportation is very convenient, right in the city center. I think this is a hotel where the public areas are much more beautiful than the rooms. There is no big surprise inside the room, but the public areas are really beautiful. The service is also very good. The only bad thing is that the deposit is very high and it can't be returned in half a day (it has been almost 10 days since I checked out and the deposit has not been returned 🙃)
Superb service, from each and every single member of the staff - from front desk to the restaurant and bar. We needed to stay an extra night and got a very effordable offer by the super lovely manager, Federica, in an upgraded room.
If room size matter, the upgraded room we got for our extra night was closer in size to a 'normal' hotel size room for two.
Their 'regular' room is a bit on the smaller end.
Other than that we had a great time.

Good place to stay if you want to be close to Termini train station, it’s roughly a 8 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and helpful, even allowed us to check in despite arriving earlier than the stipulated check-in time. Room was clean. No complaints other than the fact that our room was next to a street and it was noisy at certain periods of time.

Hotel Impero Rome location is the main reason why I chose this hotel. I booked a 17m room and it was on the forth floor, it came with a small balcony that opens up to a lovely view.
The hotel is clean and classical but the furnishing is old and the air can be a little stale or too much fragrance after the cleaning service. There are rooms slippers and basic amenities provided too.
Receptionist and staff is generally nice and luggage can be stored after a no late check out policy. Many eateries and a mini super market is on the same street so it’s convenient to get food and drinks.

The hotel is 2 minutes walk, very close to the main trains station Roma Termini. Surrounded by restaurants, there are also bountiful of shops and a conad supermarket in the Station Termini.
Bus and metro are also super convenient, metro station just in termini, bus stops are all around.
The rooms are clean and not small. The concierge has good English and nice attitude.

The location is good and the room size is good, except it has not been renovated for some time, so, some of the items are almost break, need to use it with caution. Such as the hair dryer will only work for less than 1 min, then it will stop. I have checked, there is no timer of the hair dryer. So, I think the sensor felt that was overheat, so it has stopped.

The Bettoja Hotel Mediterrano is quite lovely. The decor in the hotel is semi vintage and beautifully placed. I loved the fact that the hotel is located a few metres from the main Roma Termini train station and other attractions like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, etc, are 10-15 mins walking distance away. There are also very nice restaurants all around the hotel. I would recommend a visit to the restaurant opposite the hotel, the food is fantastic, one of the best Italian restaurants we've ever visited. The room is well apportioned, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom is fantastic.
There were two negative experiences for us. The first is the attitude of the front desk staff. They come across very gruff and grumpy. They appear to have forgotten that they're actually at the front desk to assist their guests. The second is the poor quality breakfast. It is very average, to say the least, for the standard of such a hotel.
My overall rating for this hotel is 4 because of the negatives mentioned above, it would've been higher otherwise.
Great breakfast with a variety of food. It's located right opposite the bus station, and there's a train station nearby. There isn't a lift, so one had to carry my luggage up the stairs. I will definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance to visit Rome again.
The room is standard and clean
The service is also good
The location is relatively remote, it looks close to the Vatican, but the actual distance is 4-5km, and other attractions are similar. It is more convenient to drive by yourself, and taxis and shuttle buses are more expensive
The breakfast is terrible, but the bar at the entrance is not bad

ZZhoumingralphThe way in is a little hard to find, but everything else is good. It is less than 10 kilometers from the ancient city of Rome, and it takes 20 minutes to drive. The hotel facilities are very new, the dinner is good, and the guy is also very handsome
DdisasterEXEHotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house.
I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.
KKAII don't understand why this hotel has a rating of 4.0. In addition to the facilities decoration is not so new, everything else is very good. The old chain hotel is comfortable and affordable, especially compared to the nearby Dharma ”style” hotel at the same price but without a lobby, very simple. One day we have to catch the early train to Naples, can't eat breakfast, notify the front desk in advance, the other party changed to a rich breakfast box

PPKcullenNestled in the heart of Rome, Camplus Hotel Roma Centro is a haven for discerning travelers seeking a blend of comfort, convenience, and affordability. Upon entering the hotel, you're immediately struck by the immaculate cleanliness that permeates the entire establishment. From the gleaming hallways to the spotlessly maintained rooms, every detail exudes a sense of meticulous care.
The hotel's location is another major feather in its cap. Situated just a stone's throw away from Rome Termini Station, the city's central hub, you'll find yourself within easy reach of all the must-see attractions. Whether you're exploring the ancient Colosseum, immersing yourself in the Vatican's grandeur, or meandering through the charming Trastevere district, you'll be able to seamlessly navigate Rome's labyrinthine streets without the hassle of transportation.
The staff at Camplus Hotel Roma Centro is genuinely friendly and attentive, going the extra mile to ensure your stay is pleasant and hassle-free. From the moment you check in to the day you depart, they are always eager to assist with your inquiries and provide helpful recommendations for exploring the city.
While the amenities may not be as extensive as some luxury hotels, they are sufficient for a comfortable stay. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi, ensuring you have all the essentials to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Overall, Camplus Hotel Roma Centro is an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize cleanliness, convenience, and friendly service. With its central location and comfortable accommodations, this hotel provides a great base for exploring the Eternal City without breaking the bank.
NNadezdaWe have to spend the New Year 2024 at this place (arrived late at Fuimichino and Tiber looked like the best option in the area).
I would say that the location was good, with a partial see view and pretty quiet. I also liked the choice of cafes around (small place serving fresh grilled fish and seafood is really the BEST!). Thought the hotel bar is definitely overpriced.
The parking is right in front, you can also use the shuttle bus to Rome which is very convenient and fast.
The room was spacious. Buuuut the furniture was definitely and visibly worn out. Guys, please, do smth with it.
And the general attitude of the stuff was, let's say, cool. They showed no interest in you. I understand that the hotel is mostly used as a stopover by the travellers so the stuff doesn't bother. But for a NY (and in general) more warmth would change a lot.
MMarcos 305We stayed at the Hotel Madison in Rome for a short stay, and overall, we would describe it as more of a convenience hotel than a tourist destination. It's perfect for travelers passing through, thanks to its excellent location right across from Termini Station, the main train and bus terminal in Rome.
Room & Facilities
The room appeared clean and recently renovated, but it was quite small. It had all the basics, including a functioning heater and a TV, and the bathroom was spotless, with plenty of towels provided. However, the hotel doesn’t give off a tourist-hotel vibe — it’s more of a practical choice for those who need quick access to transportation.
The front desk service was professional and efficient. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the reception area looked modern and clean, which made a good first impression.
Breakfast Experience
One of the most positive aspects of our stay was the breakfast. The hotel has a chef preparing fresh food on the spot, with several assistants ensuring everything runs smoothly. There was a wide variety of hot dishes and plenty of food available, with everything served fresh and hot. We noticed that guests seemed very satisfied with their breakfast experience, and we felt the same.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Hotel Madison is a solid choice for a short stay or a transit stop in Rome. The location across from Termini Station is ideal for those who need easy access to trains, buses, and the metro. The rooms are simple and functional, and the breakfast was definitely a highlight. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient stay, this hotel does the job.
Would we stay here again? Yes, for the convenience and excellent breakfast!
EEmreEmreGreat hotel, perfect location. Close to the train station. Metro station at 5 min walking distance. Supermarket nearby if you need anything. Breakfast was normal european breakfast with a barista. Great coffee to start your day. Room had air-conditioning, was really nice during the hot summer. Cleaning and hygiene was good and nice amenities for a 3 star hotel. Overall great experience.
GGuest UserAs part of our ongoing Europe trip, I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 4 nights; we booked 2 rooms, our bed looked like a double but was 2 single joined so it was great for me and my aunt as we separated the beds. The hotel had good amenities - private bathroom was huge although for some reason the lights would just turn off randomly? I don't know if it was just our room or everyone else's. The swimming pool is only opened in the summer!! so it was closed for us, which was sad.
The staff was really nice and they gave us extra blankets, coffee machine and a kettle when we asked for it! Really appreciated their help and trust me there was so many large groups always arriving at this hotel so they were doing amazing. We paid for dinner once and a breakfast. Dinner was hit or miss - I loved my Chicken salad, but the others weren't impressed with the burgers they had but breakfast was definitely better. I think the star was the beans because wow they were good.
The only major cons about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator (same as Florence) and it was noisy all morning and late at night, plus some construction at like 8am ish so please if you can, ask for a faraway room! Also the distance from the city centre was quite tiring, yes it is only 23 mins metro from the Torre Angela station but an 11 mins walk from the station to the hotel and with our suitcases and the station exit not having any elevators, it was hard work. To get to the hotel side, you need to first go down the stairs, then up the stairs and go down again so if you are walking from the station to the hotel, be prepared!
GGuest UserI LOVED my stay at Hotel Monte Cenci. I was choosing between 2 hotels and I am sooo glad I went with Monte Cenci! It really made my trip. First of all, the location is perfect. It is tucked away on a quiet side street, walkable distance to some famous sights such as Pantheon, Trevi Fountain etc, but also right across the river from hipper neighborhoods like Trastevare. The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, it was such a treat to come home to the beautiful room in between sightseeing and to be able to rest comfortably. The AC was perfect, the bedding was perfect, bathroom/ bathtub beautiful. And to top it all off, the staff at the hotel were just amazing. Every request of mine was met easily and happily - and even with more difficult requests, they were able to go above and beyond to help me. In a casual conversation with Paolo, the manager, he gave us his personal recommendation for his favorite Amatriciana, Rome's specialty and even helped us book a table last minute! I also had misplaced a necklace at the hotel and they were really helpful in locating it and updating me after my stay. The staff really showed that they cared about their guests before, during and after the stay and for that I am so grateful. It really felt like a home away from home and I cannot wait to come back to Rome just to stay here again. It really made my trip and I miss it so much!
The breakfast on the rooftop was also a nice touch!!! My only complaint is that sound insulation wasn't great, and we had some noisy neighbors that slammed their doors quite hard in the morning. But not the hotel's fault at all.
