The hotel is clean, the parking is safe, the water park and the pool are clean and inviting. The hotel staff are lovely in every department. The breakfast is good. You can walk across to the beach to play. The beach is clean. Overall, everything is very good.

This hotel is more suited to families with young kids. No proper pool for adults to swim laps in and for some peace of mind. The beach was average. The bed was most comfortable, however the design of the bathroom door is weird as the door knocks against the toilet bowl when opened. Lights over the toilet bowl were also too dim. Drying rack was too small and not suitable for hanging items bigger than a tea towel. No privacy in the patio as hotel crew and any guest(s) from the next room can cross over anytime.

Clean room with reliable wifi. Staff is very friendly. There was a fire show on the night we stayed (not everyday, suggest to check the schedule with the staff). Good location. There are lots of restaurant and mart near by.

The bus booked at Bangkok Airport is responsible for sending you to the hotel. The hotel entrance is right on the road. The hotel has many room types, including beach huts, beach multi-storeys, and townhouses. I booked the cheapest one, which gave me a 2-storey room on the roadside. I needed to draw the curtains to protect my privacy when entering the room. The sanitation is very good. The hardware and sanitary ware in the bathroom are still the common problems of cheap hotels, old and cheap, but the tile color matching and bright lights make the user experience okay. The gross weight is a lot, but it is still old. The breakfast tastes average. The guests are mainly European and American tourists. There is a swimming pool and a public beach. The beach is a bit messy because it is used by father-in-law, but the sea is good. It is only about 1.4 meters away from the water 50 meters away. It is suitable for people who can't swim. The price I booked is 240, which I think is very cost-effective

Stayed in the budget rooms, which are about a five minute walk from the main resort and on the opposite side of the road. Room was very spacious and well designed with lots of places to put stuff and plugs near the bed. Bathroom was also really nice and featured a large independent shower, with lots of shelf space to put stuff. The breakfast is very nice and the resort is located in front of a beautiful sandy beach. Overall a very pleasant stay. One negative is that the Wi-Fi was not working so we ended up using up all of our mobile data during our one week stay.

Very clean, freshly renovated rooms (building K). Each room has a hot pot kettle. But mattresses are quite hard. Fresh water, shampoo, toilet paper and trash bags daily. Good breakfast buffet. Always different kinds of one of each: soup, fried rice, noodles, vegetable and chicken dish. Three types of fruit and salad bar. However, there is only one person preparing eggs and pancakes, which results in a long queue. And only instant coffee. Location is nice, but the hotel doesn’t practically have its own beach (as well as pool, sun beds and beach towels). During the low tide, it’s impossible to swim due to bushes of seaweed. The beach is nice for morning swims and evening walks. Also elephants are brought there for a swim multiple times a day.

The hotel reopened three weeks ago after a complete remodel under new management. There is no direct beach, but a long sandy beach begins a few steps to the right. Lots of Russian guests. Unfortunately, from 11:00 a.m. to midnight, the entire pool area is filled with loud music, so those looking for peace and quiet are out of place here. The concept is probably a beach club. Otherwise, the hotel leaves nothing to be desired. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very well furnished. At the moment, the service staff are not yet well trained, especially with regard to reserving the few sun loungers.

Highly recommended this resort!!! Very nice place and location is amazing, located in the best beach in Koh Chang and it’s not far from the pier, there is convenient store and ATM in front of the resort. The resort has everything you need and fully of facilities. The food is delicious and reasonable price. All staff are friendly and helpful. Will come back!!!

Beautiful cabin, bright room, great location on the west slope, close to a beautiful sandy beach with colorful fish stocks. Most of the staff were friendly, the cleanliness of the room was adequate. The biggest problem was some unpleasant guests. It was a nice stay. Thank you very much for that.

Beautiful scenary however family and junior rooms are up the hill which is a bit secluded from facilities and the beach. There is however a hillside pool with a slide especially for families but no poolbar present.

If you are looking for a great place to relax in stunning surroundings in your own bungalow with a balcony (most of them overlook the water and immaculate grounds tended to daily), delicious food served in beautiful open air gazebos, freshly ground coffee every morning and throughout the day, snorkeling right from the beach, friendly service from all staff especially Bea and her husband, then Dusita is your place to go to. We so enjoyed our stay here and wish it was closer to home. A great find.

The resort location is just excllent. The whole resort occupied the best location of conjunction between beach and river. So fatastic to walk around the river month and beach. Beach water is clear, and even good sakat boat free for travel. The most special room type is canal view family, which can only be booked from officiial web. Garden view family room booked from Trip.com is also good, if you are lucky you may have have to river view. I hope next time I can get canal view room from trip.com. Food is execllent for asian. Free drInks and toast are nice. Overall very nice experience.

At first we booked our room from trip.com with fully paid. When we arrive to hotel our booking was not register at hotel. However hotel arranged to give better room than we booked. It was a nice trip with my friends and hotel employees have great smile and they help everything that we need. Thanks for your hospitality. And hotel rooms are also clean and tidy.

Just okay. Near the beach but the rooms are outdated. The staff service could be better. When we checked in there is no one at the reception. Then in the evening they called me and say they couldnt charge my credit card and need me to go pay immediately. After i went to the reception i told the staff it was not my credit card and that i paid via trip. They let me wait for like 10 min on checking other things. Can rent motorcycle from resort 300 baht per day which is reasonable. Breakfast was so so.

Every time I come to Koh Kood, I stay at only the Captain Hook resorts. This time I brought my elders with me. I couldn't book in time, so there was only Captain Hook, a pool suit room left. I usually come on weekdays, but this time I came during the New Year period. The weather was great, the sea was clear, and diving around the resort was the end. There were a lot of fish, medium, and large. The accommodation is suitable for those who like peace and quiet. There is no beach in front of the resort, but you have to kayak across, less than 50 meters.

The service you get at Far East is great. Ask for something and it happens straight away. We asked reception for bins to be changed and it happened straight away. I then asked cleaners to do it all days we were there and they did plus new towels and waters. The breakfast has a good variety. There is a guy who makes coffees for you and you can see he takes pride in the craft. On our third day he saw us walk in and made it without asking- lovely. The grounds are well looked after. It seems to be raked every day. There was a cat poo near our room one morning. When we came home from exploring, it was gone. It is walking distance to resteraunts. We'd stay again.

The environment is elegant, the beach is clean and pollution-free, and the location is a bit remote. You can still go out for a stroll.

A really good view - double bungalows are located in the first row right by the sea, the beauty is indescribable! 4. The beach. Yes, this is the southernmost beach and it is quite far from the main infrastructure of the island. But it is simply beautiful! Apart from the Secret AWD Beach, this is the best on the island. Shallow entrance to the sea, the cleanest, literally transparent water, soft sand without stones which is pleasant to walk on! On the pier you can take ”Instagram” photos and admire the fish that literally swim here in schools. 5. The breakfasts were good. 6. The family atmosphere of the hotel. Everything is very cozy here. The hostess cooks in the kitchen herself, she strives to help you. We came to the island directly from Cambodia, without having time to change money, the banks were closed that day, so the owner changed our money herself at a good rate. The other guests are also very nice people, and if you know English, you can make new acquaintances. For example, our neighbor in the bungalow, as it turned out, came to this hotel for the tenth time, and I understand why. 7. Well, in general, the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. When you sit in the bar, you get the impression that you ended up in one of the films of the 80-90s about adventures in hot countries or in a video of the band La ketchup. Very atmospheric. The disadvantages are minor, but they still need to be mentioned: 1. Upon check-in, we discovered that one towel, apparently, was forgotten to be washed. It is strange that no one noticed this, because it smelled strongly of sweat. 2. The price in the bar-restaurant is quite expensive. This is especially aggravated by the fact that the hotel is on the very edge of the island and the only alternative within walking distance is a restaurant 800 m from the hotel - but the food there, although cheaper, is spicy. 3. Still, you need to understand that the conditions in the bungalow are quite Spartan. Our bungalow did not have a refrigerator (there are in the rooms on the second line), nor a kettle (hot water was in the bar). The room is no frills. The shower is very simple next to the toilet and in general the bathroom already needs renovation. But the price of the hotel is the lowest of all the hotels on the island (those near the beach). However, the atmosphere and the beach more than compensate for these shortcomings)
