I visited Barcelona Zoo in January 2025, inspired by a tour guide on the hop-on/hop-off bus who praised it as one of Europe’s most important zoos. While it was a decent experience, it didn’t really stand out compared to zoos I’ve been to in places like Bangkok. We did this on our first day of the trip and it was such a great way to start it off. The view is absolutely stunning and the church is so beautiful. The only thing that spoilt it was the fairground!
