M56***56Different seasons, different moods. Winter in Shapotou is serene and peaceful. The Yellow River is like a mirror, and the desert is unusually quiet. It has a unique landscape and a different feeling. The environment is clean and hygienic, and the toilets are odorless!

159***20Zhenbeibao Western Film City is more like a "dream space," its value far exceeding that of ordinary scenic spots. It uses the most rustic loess and ruins to carry the cinematic memories of generations. Here, you are not just a tourist, but a participant stepping into the stories of the movies. With proper expectation management, this trip will surely become an unforgettable stop on your Northwest China journey.

江左盟朱公子I visited during the National Day holiday. For a well-known historical site, there weren't many tourists. The scenic area is vast, scattered with the imperial tombs of the entire Western Xia Dynasty, which is truly awe-inspiring for those who understand and love history. The majestic Helan Mountains further enhance the area's sense of history and grandeur. I recommend watching the documentary series "The Mysterious Western Xia" before your visit; it will make the experience even more immersive.

_WB***59A highly recommended attraction, rich in content and boasting spectacular scenery. The entrance begins with the World Rock Art Museum, where you can learn about the meaning of the rock paintings. Then, you take a sightseeing bus to the Helan Mountain Rock Art area. The bus is enclosed, so it's not cold. The Helan Mountains here are rocky mountains, majestic and precipitous. The rock art signs make them easy to find. We were even lucky enough to see a argali sheep! After viewing the rocks, take another sightseeing bus, a mere 3-minute ride, to the Han Meilin Art Museum. The Han Meilin Art Museum is also excellent, with exquisite sculptures and paintings.

M23***30A great place to see authentic archaeology. The Soldier Cave is highly recommended. Unfortunately, I missed the show due to lack of time. The camel ride was affordable. The so-called special transportation options, aside from the tractor, were just average. The museum and the Soldier Cave offer free guided tours, which was highly recommended.

Anonymous userThe Helan Mountains are majestic and precipitous, stretching as far as the eye can see, like a protective barrier guarding the Northwest. Lush forests, rugged rocks, and deep ravines create a breathtaking landscape. From the summit, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the Yellow River Plain, a truly awe-inspiring sight. Beyond its unique natural scenery, the region also boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage, making it an important landmark on the Silk Road and well worth a visit.

有理喻的人0A less-visited tourist spot. Because a cold front had just passed through, the sky was incredibly blue and the air was fantastic. It's about a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Yinchuan, and the road conditions were good. Upon arrival, I opted for the most basic ticket and didn't take a boat (because it was too cold). Walking around the scenic area and walking across the Yellow River Iron Bridge downstream was enough for me.

有理喻的人0I specifically visited this place because of the opening credits of "A Chinese Odyssey." Seeing Zixia boating among the reeds, accompanied by a melodious tune, brought back memories of thirty years ago. It takes about an hour to drive here from Yinchuan. The price is a bit expensive; the entrance fee plus transportation costs nearly 200 yuan per person. It feels overdeveloped, with too many unnecessary facilities added for commercial purposes, disrupting the original tranquility and serene natural beauty. The roaring seaplanes and speedboats, and the incredibly long return trip (from the island to the sand dunes to the pier, it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to walk). If you're short on time, this isn't a must-see attraction in Yinchuan.

M46***54I went to the hot springs again, this time with my parents. The hot spring environment is still very good, the water quality is good, the sand therapy is great, the privacy is good, the staff has a good service attitude and is kind. There is a staff member named Chen Shuxia who is very good. She took the initiative to help get towels and serve tea. She repeatedly reminded us to take our mobile phones and valuables with us and make sure they are waterproof. My parents were very satisfied with this hot spring trip
