"Blue tears" is actually a bioluminescent phenomenon, which is caused by two marine planktons, Noctiluca and fireflies. When they are stimulated by external stimuli such as waves hitting and ships passing by, they will emit a charming light blue light. </p><p>Noctiluca-type blue tears are common from March to June, showing short blue ripples and spectacular scenes; from July to August, firefly-type blue tears are the main ones, which have a longer-lasting glow and a clearer grain. </p><p>If you want to successfully "chase tears", remember to be prepared and pay attention to the weather forecast in advance.
