"Blue tears" is actually a bioluminescent phenomenon, which is caused by two marine planktons, Noctiluca and fireflies. When they are stimulated by external stimuli such as waves hitting and ships passing by, they will emit a charming light blue light. </p><p>Noctiluca-type blue tears are common from March to June, showing short blue ripples and spectacular scenes; from July to August, firefly-type blue tears are the main ones, which have a longer-lasting glow and a clearer grain. </p><p>If you want to successfully "chase tears", remember to be prepared and pay attention to the weather forecast in advance. It is easier to succeed during the high tide period on south wind days, and the best viewing period is generally from 7 pm to the early morning.
