M25***40I travelled with a guide from Merida and to fully enjoy the experience you need a guide who can explain the history of the mineral salts and the saltwater shrimp that are responsible for the flamingos’ pink colour.
4.7/5M25***40We really enjoyed the boat trip - departed at 7am for 2 hours with a friendly guide. He was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the birds. There are mangroves and a reliable captain. He was very attentive and knew where the best views and photo ops were. We really enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend.
