M39***18I went there twice in two days. Yesterday, it rained, so I climbed up. Today, I went back again specifically for the slide. Here's a summary: 1. The cable car only reaches Guangfu Temple, which is halfway up the mountain, not the summit! 2. There are four options for getting up the mountain. One is to climb up, which takes about 20 minutes and isn't tiring. Even children as young as eight or nine can make the climb on their own. The second option is to take the cable car, but I personally don't think it's worth it. The third option is to drive to Guangfu Temple, but there's limited parking up there, so getting there early is better. The fourth option is to take a bus from the front entrance that goes up the mountain for 5 yuan. 3. Guangfu Temple is full of monkeys. Don't hold peanuts in your hands when you eat them, as they'll snatch them. I was robbed, and I was terrified. 4. The slide down the mountain is really fun. You can climb up and take the slide down. It's 40 yuan one way, and it's quite thrilling. The kids had a blast. 5. The cable car and slide are located separately from the mountain climb; it takes about 8-10 minutes to walk there. There's a bus to Guangfu Temple near the climb up.

M73***48A must-see performance in Xichang. I visited the Yi Museum the day before, and then watched a live fire show. The Yi people are really a mysterious and unfathomable nation. It's great.
