In the building next to the park, there was a coffee shop called "El Condor", and on the second floor there was this Abashiri City Railway Memorial Hall. 2 The floor is an exhibition room, but unfortunately it seems that it was closed and I couldn't see the exhibits, but from a place like an observation room, I could see Lake Notori spreading to the north ...
On the southern bank of Lake Notori in Abashiri City, there is a district called Ubarauchi. It seems that there was a railway called the Yume Line once passing here, and it was the place where the station was located, so it was called "Ubarauchi Railway Park". There was this railway memorial hall in the park. The cafe was open on the 1 floor, and the 2 floor was a museum. SL in the park was also covered with sheets, and this memorial hall seemed to be closed, so I couldn't see the hall.
The railways transferred from the JNR are on display and you can see the inside. Toilets are also available and I am grateful that they are located along the cycling road.
