i wonder if there's any murals.
Original Text
Perhaps because I saw Kitora and Takamatsuzuka, I wonder if there is a mural painting. It was a well-maintained burial mound, and I am deeply moved that it was like this even when it was built.
New Year's 3rd visits within the day. All the front of Asuka station was closed and I couldn't rent a bicycle, so I went on foot. Like other burial mounds, it is free and you can visit it 24 hours a day. There are only fields and private houses around, and there is no shop, so it is saved that there is a toilet.
It is located in the late-term tumulus, that is, the Asuka period 7 Mayumi Gang, which is concentrated in the latter half of the century. In other words, it is a very old tumulus that looks new, probably because it is well maintained and the high-color katakana name "Marco".
It takes about 20 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Asuka Station. I will go to Takatori International High School. Cross the Kintetsu railroad crossing on the way. I don't think there is a parking space for cars. Also, the road is narrow with one lane in the countryside. We recommend renting a bicycle. Recommended for those who are interested in history and burial mounds. It is located quite far from the main historic site of Asuka. There was also a toilet when I went around the tumulus.
At first glance, it looks like a round burial mound ... It is said that it is a two-tiered hexagonal burial mound, a national historic site. There is also a theory that the burial person was a man and Prince Kawashima, the son of Emperor Tenchi. It was well maintained and there was a toilet facility.
