There was a castle until Nagamasa Kuroda's Fukuoka Castle was built. Now it is a trace of the castle and a shrine. You can see the town beautifully from the hill.
I often visit because it is a neighborhood. From late March to early April, you can worship the huge Wolong cherry blossoms in full bloom in the park in Najima Castle. The big cherry tree that cannot fit in the photo evolves every year, and it is spectacular enough!
The first visit and the first sunrise are recommended!

Since it is a neighborhood, I have been visiting it for a long time. 1/1 Many worshipers line up at the first visit at 0 o'clock, and it is very lively. At the beginning of the year, the fireworks on the middle road of the sea and the whistle of Hakata Bay echo, which makes me excited. You can worship at the hill park in the shrine for the first sunrise.

Just the Gate is left
Not much of the Castle, just some historical record, like the gate. A vegetated area that currently has a few tentage for food.
