Former Residence of Zhou Enlai's Father

In the ancient town of Qingyan, there was a place where Zhou Enlai's father once lived. In January 1939, the War of Resistance Against Japan entered the most difficult stage. As a transportation hub in the southwest, Guiyang was decided by the Party Central Committee to establish the Guiyang Transportation Station of the Eighth Route Army in Guiyang, responsible for the turnover of military materials and the reception of personnel. (Later as the stationmaster). At the beginning of 1939, a group of revolutionary family members were escorted to Guiyang traffic station. In order to prevent enemy aircraft bombing and ensure the safety of the family members, the traffic station decided to transfer the family members to the suburbs. Yuan Chaojun personally went to Qingyan to rent a private house and transferred the family members to Qingyan. Zhou Enlai's father was placed at No. 1 Beijie, a small hut belonging to the family of Ding. Now, the room displays some historical pictures of Zhou's parents and relatives for people to learn about that history.

Qingyan Ancient Town is really very distinctive, and there are many famous people's former residences here. Zhou Enlai's father used to live in this town. This town is still the shooting place for the movie gun, but I have not seen this movie.

The place where Premier Zhou Enlai's father lived is also an old house. The surrounding scenery is still very quiet, the scenery is very good, the air is very fresh, giving people a very comfortable feeling.

This house was originally a Qingyan residence, and Zhou Enlai's father Zhou Shuchen lived here from 1939 to 1941. Located at No. 2 Qingyanbei Street, it covers an area of about 300 square meters. The whole building is basically intact and is still a residential house.

This Zhou Enlai father's residence is located in the scenic area of Qingyan Ancient Town in Guiyang. It is a paid attraction. You need to buy a scenic spot package to enter the tour. The security guard at the door will check the ticket. If it is a scenic spot free of tickets, tourists are not allowed to enter.
