New explanation board of "Himeji Jo castle town Museum"
Original Text
It is said that it was erected in 1933 to commemorate the fact that the Nakabori of Himeji Castle was reclaimed and National Highway No. 2 was renovated. The inscription itself was a simple sentence and had a small number of characters and was easy to understand, but an explanation board that stated the Himeji Castle Uchimachi Museum "The whole town is a museum" was set up as a project in the 3rd year of Reiwa. I was able to understand the origin well.
It is a distorted stone monument standing along Route 2 near Himeji Castle. There was no title as a memorial monument in front of the national highway side, and an inscription was suddenly engraved. It was recorded that the moat was buried in 1931 and Route 2 was renovated.
