Demolished the drum tower of Ibaraki branch temple

    Original Text

The drum tower, a registered tangible cultural property of Ibaraki Betsuin, has been demolished and has become a reclaimed land. As of November 8, 2020. I visited to see the drum tower, but unfortunately it was a reclaimed land. When I asked a person nearby, it was demolished using heavy machinery instead of demolition and restoration. It was a waste even though it was designated as a national registered tangible cultural property in 2016.
