What a gem!
This little hidden treasure in Ilford is both surprising and beautiful. Steeped in history and some mystery it's a must for locals who should be very proud of it and for all history buffs. Who knew!

An amazing building which managed to survive Henry 8th. I recommend the monthly open days as the volunteers run tours and are very knowledgeable. They also had home made cakes.

The open days provide interesting information on the buildings history (and that of Ilford itself). Whilst there has been a massive rebuilding of the property, there is still much to take in.
