Simple
This is the first site one will see when visiting Kabira Bay & Park. It’s a very simple shrine but worthy of a visit. Visitors normally offer a coin then offer a prayer and make a wish. Be sure to tak...
There was an approach to Kawahira Park and a temple stood on a hill. It seems to be a temple because it is called "Kannon-do", but it may be one of the local mitakes, so I avoided tourists entering and just looked at it from below, but the explanation board by Kawahira Public Hall said "From the national Tsu 々 Ura 々, Many people 々 visited ", and it seemed that tourists could visit. Grace, the work was underway on the day of the visit.
I've been to Kawahira three times, but I haven't been here once. A small shrine in the park. It doesn't seem to be very popular with tourists. At the entrance of the approach, there is an explanation board that describes the origin of this Kannon-do. It may be a good idea to read it and think about the legend about the construction of Kannon-do.
It is Kannon-do in a corner where shops in Kawahira Park are crowded. I think the Kawahira area is a building that tells the history of prospering in fishery in the past. The hall is small but very historical.
Kannon-do in Kawahira Park, overlooking Kawahira Bay, the most tourist attraction on Ishigaki Island. Located overlooking Kawahira Bay, it is a Kannon-do with a history of the mid-17th century.
