Located at a popular hotspring town. It is pretty packed when i visited on a weekend afternoon. The temple isnt very big. Quite pretty during autumn!
The area of Xiusan Temple is filled with ancient capital style. There are also attractions such as Xiusan Temple, Bamboo Forest Trail, and Zhiyue Temple. It is densely within walking distance. It takes less than 10 minutes by bus or taxi from Xiusan Temple Station of Hakone Railway. There are many buses, 1 hour 2~ 3.
Xiusan Temple belongs to Izu City and is the famous hot spring town of Izu Peninsula. Traveling to Izu Peninsula, Xiusan Temple Hot Spring is a must-see place. It is also a good choice to walk between Xiusan Temple-Bamboo Forest Trail-Finger Moon Temple.
Xiushan Temple hot spring is the oldest hot spring in Yidou. It is said that it was discovered by Master Hongfa. Hot springs are located in the center of Zhongyidou, surrounded by many scenic spots and historic sites. The quiet hot spring town is surrounded by emerald green, the sound of gurgling water in Guichuan and the hot springs, which attract numerous literati and ink visitors to visit. Ducobalt soup is the birthplace of Xiushan Temple hot springs. Unfortunately, since 2010, it has been only for visitors and can not be bathed. A stone road stretches along the bamboo forest by the river, where people can quietly enjoy peace and quiet.

Xiushan Temple Town is located in the middle of the Yidong Peninsula. The real monastery is called Xiushan Temple. It happened to be Lichun that day, so there was a sign "Lichun Dajie" hanging in front of the door. There is a small window in the temple for the imperial guard, but there are few kinds. Xiushan Temple itself was founded by Master Hongfa in 807. It has a history of more than 1200 years. This is the general name of Wan'an Zen Temple. The temple is built along Guichuan. There are ripples of running water and quiet bamboo forest paths nearby. These are popular scenic spots. The monastery itself is relatively small, and it will be finished in about 10 minutes. Tourists who are interested in Zen Buddhism can do more stops.
