    Quiet place with locals mainly

This park is located approx. 5 mins' walk from Kameoka Station and is really serene and quiet on a weekday noon when i visited in end Mar. I only see some locals chilling in the park when i was there....

If you remember the remains of Kameyama Castle and Mitsuhide Akechi, this may be better.

    Original Text

It is near JR Kameoka Station. It is a park along the pond of the moat site of Kameyama Castle. There is a statue of Akechi Mitsuhide. The ruins of Kameyama Castle are only reproduced stone walls, so if you want to remember the ruins of Kameyama Castle and Akechi Mitsuhide, this may be better. Cherry blossoms were beginning to bloom.

    Sakaoka City のお

    Original Text

It is in front of JR Kameoka Station. It is a park on the banks of the moat of Kameoka Castle. A new "Akechi Mitsuhide Statue" is built, which feels like it was made according to the taiga.

A statue of Akechi Mitsuhide in a magnificent busho

    Original Text

It is a park with a moat of Tanba Kameyama Castle. There is a statue of Akechi Mitsuhide in a magnificent military commander, and I was attracted to the taiga drama and came to see it. There is no castle now, but I feel that it was a big castle from the size of the site. I imagined how much Kameoka's land would have developed if Mitsuhide's coup had been successful.
