Minzhulu Culture Street

This street, commonly known as "Xinpu Street" or "Xinpu Street" in the past, is the birthplace of Xinpu District, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, and is one of the four old streets in the historical development of Lianyungang City. In the 1920s and 1930s, business was prosperous here, and there was a lot of traffic. It was called "Little Shanghai" in northern Jiangsu by people at that time. Not far to the north, a smaller street market was formed accordingly. Because it is located in the north of the main street, people call it "Back Street" (now Jianguo Road). However, with the development of the main urban area, the scale of Xinpu urban area continued to expand, and the urban industry and commerce began to migrate eastward and southward. Nearly a hundred years have passed, and the years have washed away the former glory of this road, and now there is only one road left. The old alley, which was bustling and bustling in the past, has gradually quieted down. In April 2013, it was time to upgrade and renovate, and build the Yanhe Lane historical and cultural block to explore the cultural connotation of the city. With the theme of "Impression of Xinpu", the old street with more history and culture in Xinpu is brought to life again.
