A female painter from this place
A monument in the precincts of Mochikoji Temple on the Onomichi Shichibutsu Tour. Tamaki Hirata is a female painter representing the late Edo period from the area, and Tamaki Hirata reads "Hirata Gyokuon". I didn't know the name because I was completely ignorant of art, but a picture that seemed to be the work was carved on the stone on the side of the stone monument. It was like a ukiyoe with a beautiful woman on the boat drawn. There is a memorial room in the precincts as well as a monument, and it is only on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, but it costs 200 yen to visit ...
