I planned to walk slowly forward to Sodeok Sodeok. ▫️ The strategy I saw before was to say that taking a taxi to the parking lot of Sodeok Sodeok and walking down slowly is the best route to enjoy, but since I came by bus, I could only walk from bottom to top. ▫️ At this time, there were not many people climbing up around, and the navigation divided into three roads. I had no idea which one to take, so I just chose one and walked upwards. ▫️ After walking for a while, I suddenly saw the glass house, and I felt instantly relaxed. ▫️ To be honest, the scenery of Sodeok Sodeok didn't seem special at the time. ▫️ After coming back, flipping through the photos, I particularly missed the scenery at that time. Seopjikoji, also known as Seopji Koji, is located at one end of the eastern coast of Jeju Island. 'Seopji' is the ancient name of this area, and 'Koji' is a Jeju Island dialect, meaning a terrain that protrudes outward. On the coastal cliffs where Seopjikoji is located, there is a wide grassland without a single tree in sight, and on the coast stands a rock called 'Sungsan Ilchulbong'. At one end of Seopjikoji, there is a lighthouse, and on the way to the lighthouse, there are windbreak stone walls. Inside the stone walls are fields of rapeseed, and in April each year, you will see the most dazzling yellow. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but there is also a romantic and poignant legend. The lone rock that rises abruptly from the sea is called 'Sungsan Ilchulbong', and it is said that Seopjikoji was once a place where fairies descended to play in the water and bathe. The Dragon King's young prince fell in love with a fairy at first sight and asked the Dragon King for permission to marry her. The Dragon King agreed to their marriage after 100 days, but on the 100th day, the sea was raging with huge waves and the wind was fierce, and the fairy could not descend. The Dragon King said that the prince's sincerity was not enough, and therefore his wish was not fulfilled. Heartbroken, the young prince stood at Seopjikoji for a long time and turned into the eternal 'Sungsan Ilchulbong'.

🚉Transportation Strategy: Jeju Island is now visa-free, just buy a plane ticket. The park has different flowers for each season of the year. I must say, Korea really knows how to create an atmosphere. Every place has spots for taking photos. 🤔How long should I stay? Looking at photos online, Jeju Island seems to be just some small houses by the sea that can be walked in a day. #koreatrip During our trip to Jeju Island we visited this south tip of the island called Seopjikoji, means the small road on wet lands. This area has a few small alleyway used by the people in the olden days, and now the roads were upgraded for visitors to stroll and get a nice sea breeze by the coast. There are also rapseed flower bed around the area. There are many nice photospots for visitors to take their nice portrait, and also very nice road to walk on while enjoying the wind. The stroll will take around 1 hour and you can also rest your feet at a cafe or restaurant nearby. Do note that the wind is very strong as this spot is located by the coastline, so do prepare a warm clothing while visiting.
