Recently discovered a dim sum restaurant near the subway station.
This dim sum restaurant is located near the pedestrian bridge at Cheras Leisure Mall.
It's a dim sum restaurant with a nostalgic vibe.
Every corner is perfect for photos, especially the round table in the middle of the second floor.
The midday sun shining down from the skylight creates such a great atmosphere.
This dim sum restaurant isn't just great for photos; their dim sum is also quite good.
We ordered 9 dim sum dishes that day.
Photo 6: Crispy red rice noodle rolls with shrimp (the outer layer is slightly crispy, and the shrimp is fresh)
Photo 7: Cashew and beetroot millet balls (you can taste the aroma of cashews and millet in one bite; the flavors go really well together)
Photo 8: Secret recipe Hong Kong-style BBQ pork buns (the bun is fluffy and doesn't stick to your teeth, and the BBQ pork filling is slightly sweet, but the bun itself tastes a bit like the red steamed cakes used for offerings, which wasn't really for me)
Photo 9: Deep-fried taro dumplings (one bite gives you a crispy crust followed by the rich aroma of taro and the sweetness of the BBQ pork; it tastes just like the ones at the famous Penang dim sum shop Fu Er Dai—so fragrant)
Photo 10: Pumpkin and shrimp crystal dumplings (the skin of these crystal dumplings is truly thin with a thick filling; the combination of mixed vegetables and pumpkin bits gives it a nice texture, though I personally felt the pumpkin flavor wasn't very prominent—I couldn't really taste it)
Photo 11: Beancurd skin rolls in abalone sauce (the abalone sauce isn't too salty, and the filling is quite substantial)
Photo 12: Ah Hua's black garlic siu mai (a solid filling with a subtle black garlic aroma in every bite—really great 👍🏻)
Photo 13: Secret recipe steamed chicken feet (the "tiger skin" chicken feet are steamed until soft and tender; they fall right off the bone, and the sauce isn't salty)
Photo 14: Pan-fried Hong Kong-style radish cake (the outer layer is pan-fried to a slight crisp, and every bite is full of radish flavor)
*The above is purely based on personal taste and experience; food preferences vary from person to person.
