Photos of Dongguanmen

Dongguanmen is located near Shawan, the ancient city of Fenghuang, close to Hongqiao, with Qifeng Mountain on one side and Tuojiang River on the other, on the only way to Wanshou Palace. The city gate was built in the 12th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1807). The entire building area is only 50 square meters, with two floors, the upper floor is where soldiers are stationed, and the lower floor is closed. It is still one of the important passes from Shawan to Fenghuang Ancient City.
