As the administrative center of ancient Huizhou Prefecture, the Yamen was the office of the prefect, commonly known as 'Yamen'. Inside the Yamen, there are many ancient photo spots: the Yamen's welcoming path, the six-room corridor, the main hall, the flower hall, the back garden, etc., all are beautiful spots for ancient-style photos. 3 Ancient City Wall From the back garden of the Huizhou Prefecture Yamen, you can climb onto the city wall. The wall was built at the end of the Sui Dynasty. This trip to Anhui made me discover a hidden gem in Tongling, a town that feels like a paradise on earth🌳. Here, you can find mountains, streams, ancient towns, and hot springs, all in one place, and it's quiet with few people around, almost like traveling back to ancient times🏞️. I must say, the copper coin consumption adds a unique experience; walking around with a bag of copper coins, snacking and shopping, feels like time has reversed⏳.
